I contacted JJSHouse's customer service about the additional cost incurred by Import Tax and I was happily shocked to get a practically-immediate reply from a lovely lady, Veronica Gao, who provided me with excellent service and even refunded me the £79.00 that I had paid for the Import Tax (-the refund was put through to me within hours of me emailing the payment receipt). I think that all companies should offer this sort of customer service. Her written English was very good and she went far beyond what most UK companies offer in the way of assistance. She truly made me feel like a valued customer. Thank you, Veronica Gao, you are a credit to your company.
