Update: so their customer service contacted me after they saw my review here and was kind enough to refund me the extra charge that I paid. Good customer service, but still one star off for all the stuff that should not have happened in the first place.
I received my shipment from JJs about 3 weeks ago. Everything looked great and I was happy with my order. That is until I received an invoice from UPS charging me $76.01 for a duty and brokerage fee that I was unaware of. I would have thought twice about buying from this website if I had known about this hidden fee. Future buyers beware!
Been checking my order everyday says that my order still didn't ship, but I received a package today which I have to pay an additional $60.00 on top of the almost $400 I just paid for this dress. NOT HAPPY!

I am from Brazil and I have bought a dress from the site JJ´s House and I have just received it and I loved it.
It took a short time for being made and being sent from the company.
It took more time just in the customs of my country, for being released.
It fit perfectly.

I had to pay $85 at the point of delivery, money which I didnt budget for. I am upset about this because I found and recommended this site to my sister and the items I ordered are hers as she had trouble when she tried to order, meanwhile I really cant tell her about the extra cost coz she has already refunded me what I spent and is on a tight budget. So I am out an unplanned for $85. I shop online a lot and this has never happened to me. My orders werent even shipped out until I wrote asking why. My sister wanted me to order her some more stuff, bustier, a wrap, and bridesmaids dresses and I wanted some nice handbags and jewelry which I liked and were well priced but if jjshouse wont be upfront about costs then I wont be buying from them anymore. Who knows what I would have to pay next time.

I am happy to report that customer service emailed and called me several times to fix my problem. I was refunded my $85 and offered %15 off my next purchase. Only other thing is jjshouse should try to eliminate this issue because it seems to be a top complaint. This business is not good. The reviews are fake and they are even posting fake 5 star reviews here to try and gain more business.
Shipping is cheap because they don't pay the full amount at their end, you will b charged extra.
They have a no return policy, no good company would do this.

With so many bad reviews why should anybody trust your company. Anybody that has a no return policy is usually a bad company. That means they do not stand behind their work and probably do very poor work.

I bought my first dress online at jjshouse. I was afraid of buying a product without trying it on, but I ordered it customized and it was perfect. It came in only 10 days. The dress and its materials had very good quality, very fine finishing and I was very satisfied! Their price is very good, they have a huge variety of dresses, and the one I ordered came in just like in the picture. I definitely recommend it!
I'd read horrible reviews (after I'd already put in my order), and was worried with what I was going to get, but I'm so thrilled with the dress and the fact that it took 10 days to be made (as it was custom made) and shipped to me. I highly recommend JJSHouse. I'd definitely use them again. There are plenty of the bad reviewers and they claim that any good review is a fake one, but I have no link to JJSHouse. I found it via google and thought I'd try my luck because it was so cheap. Based on my experience, I HIGHLY recommend.

I ordered an expensive special occasion shawl with gathering and beading. I was supplied with a small piece of plain white chiffon with no beading. At no time did jjshouse offer to correct the error by supplying the correct item only offering 1/3 refund (which was the selling price of the supplied item). Problem was they will not supply an address for a refund. I obtained a refund through paypal claim but still out of pocket cost of postage of item with tracking back to China.

Brillinant website, shows all of the dresses in detail so you know exactly what you are buying. All the information is very detailed, however for the custom made option, there are no spaces to input shoulder and arm measurements but you can write them in the additional information section at the checkout. The customer service team were very helpful, and the tickets are very informative and easy to use.
This dress that I ordered from JJ house was amazing. I ordered the custom fit but the custom fit was a little too tight in the hip area. I contacted JJ house and they resolve the issue to my satisfaction and I will be getting the dress let out but the dress truly made me feel like a queen. The sequins an app leaks were gorgeous and the train to die for I never in my mind thought that the dress I would receive would exceed my expectations and I was okay with that because this was for my tenure about renewal so I did not want to pay an arm and a leg for a dress and I thought I would sacrifice quality as a result but I was wrong. I went and tried on A very similar dress at a local dress shop that is very well known across the US and that same dress was 1600. This dress not only exceeded my expectations but was more beautiful than my original wedding dress and cost a whole lot less. Thank you so much JJ house for being the go to website for women on a budget. You provide the price quality integrity that you cannot find in most companies today. I will be spreading the word to everyone I know and thank you again for feeding my expectations.
I ordered two bridesmaid dresses and two shawls from this site and have had several problems with the products and service received.
- The dresses are of a very poor quality, with lots of loose threads and bumps in the seams. The material feels like it is of a very low quality. The dresses do not fit very well at all.
- The colour of the dresses is not at all similar to that which was advertised. I understand that there could be a slight difference between the colour as it appears on a computer screen and the colour as it appears on the actual dresses, but it is a completely different colour altogether.
- As well as spending £127 on the items and an additional £30 for postage, upon delivery we had to pay an additional £31 for import duty.
- There are six bridesmaids and within a week of ordering these two dresses the option to buy the style of dress we chose in the colour we chose disappeared from the website. They are now completely useless to us, as obviously we wanted all six bridesmaids in matching dresses.
In the end I have paid close to £200 for two dresses that are very badly made, not aesthetically pleasing and that we will never be able to wear.
After several emails to the customer service team and sending lots of photos I have been offered a 15% refund, which is far from acceptable.
To anyone thinking of using this website I would warn them to stay well away.

I ordered 5 adult bridesmaid dresses and a veil- this came to £461.89... I then paid £58.76 for shipping- total £520.68.
I then get a message from DHL saying that £124 is due to be paid for duty & taxes before these dresses will be delivered... Unhappy doesn't even cover it! I have emailed customer service... Awaiting a reply... Very very upset, not what you need before Xmas & a wedding!
UPDATE 30. 12. 13: JJSHouse customer service rep got in touch; refunded the £124... the dresses were delivered with 8 days of ordering, super quick! Follow up from the rep happened to ensure all was ok... Now very impressed & happy. I am waiting for my bridesmaids to come & try on the dresses... I will keep you all updated.

I am sorely disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality of the dress I received! It resembles the gown in the picture, but the fabric is cheap and the craftsmanship is poor. The dress is coming apart at the seams and the threads are visible. There are pieces that have not been sewn together properly leaving holes. The gatherings and the length are uneven. I paid extra to have this dress custom made, and it still need to be altered. I bought the dress with the intent to wear it at my 50th birthday party however At this late date I am forced to search for another dress. This dress is completely un-wearable! I contacted customer service to return this mess and requested a full refund and here is their respond:

I can't believe they offered me 20% of what I paid for this mess! And the nerve of them telling me to pay someone else to try and fix what they destroyed! Really! This is not how you do business. A lesson learned: If it seems to good to be true, 9 times out of 10, it is. You get what you pay for! :(

Answer: It's risky. They have a NO RETURN for any reason policy. Doesn't fit - too bad. Doesn't look like picture - too bad. Don't think that Paypal will help you, they will usually rule that what you got is "substantially similar" to what you ordered. I paid for custom and told them that I am a size 4/6 in the front and a 10/12 in the back because I swim and that I have small bubbies and wear an A cup. I sent multiple measurements, taken by a professional. I got back a dress that would fit a 6 foot tall Dolly Parton. Maybe if you are perfectly proportioned, or if you are ordering something that isn't a garment, you will have better luck. For me, they saw a 38 inch bust measurement and assumed that I am a DD cup. They didn't listen to anything that I told them. I know that there are computer programs that you input a bust, waist and hip measurement and it spits out a pattern. Maybe that is what happened with me. My A cup bubby in that DD cup dress was certainly humorous. On the plus side, it did look good from the back. You should also know that it costs about 5.00 to ship something from China to the US, but that it costs about 45.00 to ship the same thing from the US to China. I had no complaints about the fabrics used, or the amount of time it took to arrive or the packaging. My complaint is that they totally ignored my description of my body. I recommend that you just pay a little bit more and drive to a store and try on dresses if you aren't a perfectly sized body. The "Norton Secured Seal" that JJ's employee is talking about has nothing to do with the merchandise, it just means that the website is safe from malware.

Answer: I cannot speak for the location as I live in the UK but I was very impressed with my wedding dress - I did pay the extra 20 pounds or so for them to use my exact measurements, however. The dress was stunning.
