I used this website for the bridesmaids dresses for my wedding. At first it seemed like a great idea-- the girls who go the correct dresses really loved them. But they have been the opposite of helpful in all ways when something went wrong. One dress, though ordered in the same color and fabric came in a different bright shade of red rather than the burgundy ordered. They have NOT lived up to return process listed on their website ( part of the reason I originally chose them). They have made her jump through numerous hoops and only offered 25% back on the dress and have not worked with us to get a replacement. Their answers to her emails and mine are insulting and seem purposefully obstructive. Hoping to just bite the bullet and get a dress in time for the wedding, even if it meant paying more, she ordered it again in the same burgundy color only to have the dress once more show up in a different color than the rest of the dresses and from the extra burgundy fabric she hadordered. Now we are out a lot of $ and we are suddenly searching stores for a dress that might match as the wedding approaches in less than 3 weeks, whist they continue to send us obstructive and unhelpful replies to our complaints and inquiries! STAY AWAY-- would not wish this craziness on anyone on top of all the usual wedding stress. Only order from this website if you have $ to throw away and don't care if your bridesmaid dresses actually match.

I have just purchased this dress. The product I received resembles the dress in the picture marginally. The dress in the picture is very glamorous, elegant and flows beautifully the product I received is of a far lesser quality that the one worn in the picture. In total I paid over €128 including P&P and Customs Duty for this dress. This dress I received is only worth a quarter of the price I ended up paying for it. I would appreciate a full refund.
Yesterday 18th December I received a phone call from a representative from JJ's House, his name was Adam. Adam assured me that I would receive an refund for the dress & P&P. I have just received an email confirming that my refund will be processed in the next 3 days.

Ordered 6 bridesmaids dresses, a mother of the bride dress and multiple decorations for my upcoming wedding. The dresses were gorgeous-perfectly made, everyone loved them. The customer service was amazing... they even called us at one point when they thought a measurement for a custom dress might be wrong and went out of their way to help us avoid extra customs charges. Would not hesitate to buy again from here!

I was referred to this website by a good friend of mind who bought her wedding dress here and she was very happy with her dress. I also found a dress on the website that was exactly what I was looking for. After reading all the information and requirements I decided to have the dress custom made to my measurements and paid the extra fee for this. I had a friend take my measurements twice and we followed the instructions on the website of howto measure per their instruction.

When I received the dress I was very disappointed. The dress looked as though it was put together in just a few minutes with little care of detail. There are pieces of lace fabric that are frayed and not sewn down. Also, the dress came about 2-3 sizes too big, luckily I can have it altered but there is an additional cost for this.

I contacted the customer service department and I have to say they WERE concerned about my satisfaction. I sent them pictures of the poorly made dress, and their response was that my local tailor could fix this. I explained to them that I would not have bought the dress had I known I would have had to take it to be tailored (for the material and to be sized). I would have spent the money to have a dress made properly.

After some discussion and I asked for a partial refund since I have to take it to a tailor and spend more money on the dress to have it fixed and fitted, they gave me a 40% discount.

Overall, I have come to the conclusion that I would not buy a wedding dress online. The customer service company has tried very hard to make sure I am satisfied. I would say the customer service is good here. The customer service is the reason they get 3 stars instead of 1 or 2.

Update 12/22/2013
JJhouse has called me numerous times and also left me emails after I wrote this review. They have gone above and beyond with their customer service to ensure my satisfaction. Though I would not change the star rating I will say that their customer satisfaction is the utmost important part of their business.

They ended up giving me a full refund without my asking for it. They truly do care about their customers happiness.

We ordered a prom dress from this site and received a very poor imitation of the real one which we had tried on. When we contacted them the same day to say that we are returning the dress we were told that we could not return it. After several more emails we were told we could return the dress but we would have to pay for courier! A tracked shipment to China from NA costs about 70 including the 50 we paid for brokerage fees it has almost cost us the amount of the dress! This has been our worst experience to date with online ordering and I would urge you not to order anything from them.

Since my original post, I was contacted by Adam of jjshouse who helped refund all out of pocket monies. Wish there were more like Adam in customer service at this company-he was very helpful!

I posted a negative comment before about receiving 2 wrong shoe sizes. The customer service shocked me. They found my comment, called me and left a voice message and even sent me an email offering me a refund for the 1 pair of shoes that didn't fit. That really impressed me and shows a committment to make things right. I would have preferred a new pair of shoes with the right size but feel that they more than exceeded my expectation.

I ordered a cocktail dress with custom measurements. For the price I was quite happy with the dress. But would I have bought the dress if I had tried it on in a store? Absolutely not.

It pretty much fits, but will need to be taken in a bit. I have a very large bust and for some reason the dress still contains boning and extra padding. Which I definitely don't need!

The dress appears to be well made, and arrived very quickly. No extra customs fees were charged for delivery to Australia.

I SEND A SERIOUS WARNING TO ANYONE PLANNING TO PURCHASE FROM JJs HOUSE!
I ordered custom made garments from this company and the 'mother of the bride' dress was the MOST APPALLING MADE AND BADLY FITTING GARMENT I have ever seen in my entire life! My 14 year old could have made a better garment after just one term of textiles. The jacket was also badly made. The entire 'mother of the bride' garment was twisted, crooked and puckered and the beaded neckline was a total mess, uneven and puckered. There was nothing right about this dress and not even the most experienced dressmaker could have ever fixed it to be wearable! It has taken many hours of emails over several weeks to get them to agree to refund and now after negotiating for 2 months and when I have already sent the parcel back, costing me $71 in postage, they are saying they will only refund 60%. The customer service manager repeatedly refuses to give me a phone number where I can speak to someone and I am about to report this company to several international internet fraud watchdogs plus authorities in China if I do not receive a full refund on these shocking garments, as agreed. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND JJs HOUSE - THEIR WORKMANSHIP IS HIDEOUS and it seems their customer relations cannot be trusted as they are attempting to go back on their agreement now that I have posted the items back.

After ordering dance shoes they came but each shoe was a diferent size, its inpossable to contact jjshouse, they never return a message they will not give you an address to return the items and do not give aftersales service they just take your money and run.
I would not recomend this company stay well clear.

I wrote this review on December 6: "When I placed the order, I knew that I was taking a risk. So when dress arrived, I was not so much disappointed to see that dress is made from cheap fabric. I kind of expected it. And I was not so much disappointed when I tried it and it was too long. I knew it could happen. I also knew that I need to pay some custom duties to DHL. But. I was not prepared to pay SO MUCH custom duties! I paid for dress $230 Canadian and DHL charged me another $85!!! Dress cost me $315 Canadian and it’s not include alteration that I will need to do. This dress for sure does not worth it. I learned my lesson.
"If it seems too good to be true, it probably is"

Today December 15th and I am changing my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars. This company has AMAZING customer service! I was overwhelmed with their respond. They offered me to refund half of my custom fees and also cover my alteration expenses! BTW, they offered couple solutions and asked me to choose what is more suitable for me. They emailed me and followed up with phone calls. I wish that all businesses would learn customer service skills from JJsHouse. They changed my opinion and i will for sure buy from them again in the future.

When I saw this website I loved their beautiful dresses but was unsure if I will receive my dress if I order. Well, I decided to go ahead and try it. I first bought this dress which I really liked but the length was too short. So I asked to change it to another dress which was A-Line/Princess Scoop Neck Knee-Length Chiffon Charmeuse which they did without any hesitation. From the day I bought the dress to when I received it, only took within a week to ship international to me. I live in Australia and I was so happy when I received the dress, it was a perfect fit, exactly how I want it and I look like a princess when I wore it. I must add, that you have to give them your exact measurement otherwise you will be disappointed if it if it wont fit you. I will definitely order again and again and again and I trust this website 150%. Thank you so much for your cooperation and giving me the most beautiful dress with less than half the price I would pay here in Australia. I highly recommend this website to everyone. They're genuine.

##UPDATE## today i got my shoes... they are huge! Lol when i try and walk in them i step right out! And there an 8? I give customer service the ok for helping me loads with my worries :) but sadly i wont be able to wear them. :( also the shoes are the same as the picture so thats a good thing... sorry guys 3 stars or better than none :)

Ordered 2 dresses, both are unable to be zipped from the waist. Bust and waist measurements are accurate but the thorax is shaped like a Barbie Doll, not a human. Hold them up to you and can see your ribs on either side. (114 pounds, 5 feet 4 inches)

Also had a 60 dollar charge for "duties, or broker house fees" via UPS to even receive this box with doll shaped dresses. Not told about this prior to ordering but UPS guy said "Yeah, that happens coming from China".

Now they will not respond to email via site and I have to provide photo documentation before they will consider accepting a return.

Horrible. I feel had.
