Ivory Ella indicated 2-6 day business shipping and after 8 days has told me my order hasn't even been fulfilled, much less shipped. Blame and excuses cited as 'busy holiday orders' and 'pandemic backup'. Well... if that's the case then perhaps you should remove the promise of 2-6 day shipping from your website and order receipts. Certainly not customer-centric business practices.

I am really disappointed with the quality and sizing of the sweatshirt I recently purchased. I have several Ivory Ella sweatshirts and love how soft, roomy and high quality they are. This one does not even come close to my expectations. It is MUCH smaller (looks like a size small compared to my other two large sweatshirts), thinner and the hood strings are very low quality and cheap looking. When my daughter looked at the tag to see what company they're now using (Gildan) she called it "basic." I'm not sure why they decided to change from the high quality product they used to use, but I won't be buying in the future. I don't expect to pay the same price for a much cheaper made product. When I inquired about returning the item, I was told all sales are final! I am a long time customer and I can't believe that this is now their policy with no exceptions. I don't know what happened to what used to be a great brand/company but I am more than disappointed! I just checked the website to see if I missed something on their home page. This seems to be a VERY important thing to let customers know up front, not when they are dissatisfied with a purchase. I was surprised to see nothing about the return policy unless I searched under FAQ's which I would have no reason to do. This is a VERY dishonest way to do business and now I am stuck with a cheap looking sweatshirt that I will never wear and that took forever to arrive...and I am out $62.30. I wrote to express my dissatisfaction with their new policy and customer service and no surprise, my email was ignored. I honestly cannot believe this is the same company!

Tip for consumers:
The company's return policy is non-existent and they are not upfront about this at all.

I ordered a blue swirl hoodie and got some weird green and white hoodie with very little blue. They won't refund without a return and this is supposed to be a Christmas gift.

We would be happy to process a return or exchange for the hoodie, in order to get you another with a dye pattern and make sure you received it prior to Christmas. I placed an order November 29th, 2020, thinking I had ordered well in advance to receive it by Christmas. Guess what people?! I STILL HAVE YET TO SEE MY ITEMS I PURCHASED! To top it off, I have sent 10 plus emails and requests on their site, and they continously ignore me. Not one response to me in over a month for a large order that was placed almost TWO MONTHS AGO! How is this happening? I have purchased from Ivory Ella before numerous times. This, sadly, may be my last. If I would of at least received a response, explaining the MAJOR DELAY, I would not be on here writing a bad review. All that was and is needed is A RESPONSE, and better communication to LOYAL customers that deserve an explanation as to where their purchased items are. I do recommend their clothing, but it is not worth the hassle. Find somewhere else to shop that can provide you with better service, with people that actually care about their customers.

I ordered 7 days before Christmas because of their advertisement for GUARANTEED Christmas delivery. They sent a tracking number immediately hit the package never travelled. Finally started moving the day before Christmas and said my scheduled delivery was now December 28th. They have a lot of social media complaints about this same thing. They don't answer emails, Facebook messages, their chat function is always turned off, and when you call you get a voicemail. Leave a message... they will not call you back. I've filed a complaint with the BBB about how they run their business.

It looks like the item you ordered was on a pre-order, which was stated in the description of the item on the product page. Our 2-6 day shipping guarantee is once the product ships. If an item is on pre-order we give a start ship date on the product page and as soon as the item is printed by our production team, it is shipped out and delivered within that 2-6 day window. We are looking into making pre-orders more visible to customers before purchase and apologize that you were not aware that the shipment would be delayed. I've dreamt of buying something from Ivory Ella. Ever since I found out about the company I knew one day I would have to make a purchase and I really wanted a shirt so I could support the elephants in a bigger way than lets say, a water bottle for example. Unfortunately when it finally came to make a purchase, I noticed they didn't sell plus sized clothing but I noticed the sizing on a select shirts did go up to a 2x which I do wear 2-3x in clothing from other companies so I decided to take a chance and purchase it because the website said it was a "comfy fit" making me think it would fit well. I got it and it does fit but barely. I also noticed it does shrink a little in the wash, I followed the directions but it didn't stay 100% it's original shape so now I'm having to stretch it out in order to wear it. I know I'm a 'bigger' girl but to me this shirt fits more like an L-XL. I really don't want to return it as I absolutely love it and the quality is great but now I know for next time I need to lose a few pounds before making a purchase.

I am sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with the item you received and that it does not fit as well as you had hoped. We do offer sizes from XXS to adult unisex XXL, as well as many oversized options, but certain styles of shirt we offer do run small. We usually suggest ordering a classic fit shirt as those are unisex and run bigger.

The shirt should not have shrunk noticeably after being washed, so please email support@ivoryella.com and we would be happy to accept it back as a return so you can get a replacement.

I looked at the size chart, read the measurements & looked at how the shirts fit the models. I then went up a size & the shirt was too tight through the body & not as long as pictured. I consider this false advertising. Look at the pictures, the girls are very young & tiny, not made for adult sizing. I love elephants, but will go elsewhere. They refuse to acknowledge my complaint. Returned first shirt I got as a gift & I'm stuck with 2nd one. No more!

We do put model sizing and fits into the product descriptions on our website, along with our sizing charts so our customer can make an informed decision about what size works best for them. We also offer free returns if something does not work, but unfortunately the item you ordered was purchased as final sale. The items we mark as final sale are so deeply discounted we cannot offer returns and exchanges on them. We are very sorry for any inconvenience or frustration this caused.

So my package finally came despite not having any tracker information updates and the product is great. Seems the problem was with the shipping company they use. I have to say that Ivory Ella's response has been very positive. I attribute the late response to the holidays, which happens. They gave me a gift card and even called to check up with me. All in all I would buy from them again. In fact my daughter is looking forward to spending the gift card they gave her!

I ordered from Ivory Ella on December 19th and got an email response with a tracking number. Since then no response. The package has no indication it left their warehouse and no one responds to inquiries. Not even the DHL source they use for delivery. Very frustrating. I would not recommend buying from this site. I am currently trying to cancel my order through my bank. We will see how that goes.

I have many ivory Ella shirts, but this one I bought the only shipping option was $23. This is outrageous. Someone on fb mentioned this as well. I love the shirts I have, but until this gets fixed I won't buy anymore. Please check the website info.

I bought a pair of leggings in a size Large. When I received them, they were extremely small. I took measurements just to make sure I wasn't going crazy. Sure enough, they were 26" in the waist (with minimal stretch) and 34" in the hips (with some stretch). This is not a Large. These measurements correspond to a US pants size 2 or 4. This is ridiculous. Ivory Ella does not post any warnings that their items run super small, and you need to pay your own shipping if you want to return. I don't care how cute your items are, if you don't fix this, you'll have a ton of unhappy customers. I'm sitting here scratching my head thinking, who in the world would actually fit into their XS or Small? Kids, I guess.

Edit: In response to Ivory Ella's comment below, there were absolutely no disclaimers of the size being super small. And when I sent an email to complain about this after I received the order, they did not offer me free shipping for the return. At that point the return shipping would cost almost as much as the item, so it was not worth it. Ivory Ella absolutely runs super small consistently, and now I know to size way up. Their workout clothes seem to run especially small. I'm learning that they mostly cater to pre-teens, so I guess that makes sense, but it is misleading to claim their sizing is standard misses sizing. I would suggest making it clear on the website that these are clothes for juniors/pre-teens, not adult sizing.

I used to love ivory Ella and have been a repeat customer.
Recently ordered £133 worth of clothes and was hit with a £80 customs fee. More than half my order price?
I know this isn't ivory Ella's fault but I then emailed to ask if customs clearance Ltd are a legitimate company they use, if they have tracking info as mine wasn't working and if I did not pay this custom charge (as understandably its a lot) whether I would get my money back or be charged.
Their reply was simple and showed they hadn't even bothered to read my email and simply said 'customs tax is the customers responsibility', I emailed back te say I knew that and had enquired about legitimacy, tracking and protocol if I did not pay.
I do not think they even bothered to read my first email and just simply put it down to me complaining about customs.
Used to love this company and am even a brand ambassador but after seeing the way they treated my questions and custom, I no longer wish to support them and will be returning this order. Despite the fact my favourite clothes are ivory Ella, I am disappointed this time round.

I apologize the first response you received did not answer your question. Customs Clearance Ltd is a legitimate company who handles our international shipping deliveries. We are also very sorry your taxes and duties were high. Customs fees are charged by the country based on the items included in the order and we do not have control of those costs. We are in the process of having these charges added to the price of the order so that our customers will not have to pay an additional amount upon receipt and will know in advance the cost of the customs fees.

We appreciate your support and the fact that you are so passionate about the brand that you became an ambassador. We would hate to lose you as a customer. However, if you want to send back the order we will refund it once we receive it.

I purchased a shirt for my 12 yr old daughter ordered a pink shirt received a bright orange shirt (my receipt and invoice said pink) my bill was $31.34 my card was charged $33.32 - sent emails about the overcharge and the wrong color no response for either yet.
It seem light if you are trying to do something "good" for the elephants maybe you ought to treat your customers well. Wow, that's a thought.

Very pleased with my Ivory Ella order! Promptly notified me via email once order was received with an order number. Issued a tracking number once shipped, and another email the day of delivery! Beautiful clothes, water bottle, pop socket, and baseball cap! A little pricey, but worth
It! FYI a size small is perfect for a 13 year old girl. So pleased! Only authentic online store is good, not a cheap online site from China. I will buy again!

Great matieral. Great designs. Terrible sizing. These shirts are not made for the human body. It is like were designed flat, thin, and way too small.

Definitely had some issues at first and they took time to answer but when they did they explained the delay and made up for it with super speedy shipping. Second order and shipped in 3 business days. Super great products for a great cause.

I ordered a bunch of items because of a promotion and didnt get the item. When I message them, I was told 2days later, too bad. Pretty sad that they treat their customers this way. I thought it was all about making sure the customer is happy with their items. The $50 surprise box is not worth it. We got two items, one was a tank we had just ordered and a popsocket.

As stated in the email correspondence with our customer service team, you did not add the promotional items to your cart before you checked out the day of the promotion. Since the $3 mystery item required a purchase, it needed to be added to your cart and included in the order placed on April 17th during the birthday celebration. The mystery items were only available that day and we ending up selling out of them, so when you emailed us two days after the order was placed, the items were out of stock and could no longer be purchased. We apologize if you were dissatisfied. Unfortunately customer service cannot charge you after the original order has been placed and ship an item that is out of stock.

I see that you ordered a surprise box last month as well as this month, so we apologize if the second box did not live up to what you expected. You did not mention this issue in your previous emails with customer service. You should have received 4 items in the $50 surprise box, so if you didn't please email support@ivoryella.com and we would be happy to send you the two remaining items.

I ordered some items for Christmas presents. I was shipped an incorrect item (a T-shirt) and was missing an item. (Hoodie). The invoice in my package was for all of the items I ordered, so I knew it wasn't my mistake. There is no number to call- you have to deal with email. Their solution to this type of error on THEIR PART, is to inconvenience the customer. They require you to start a return process for the incorrect item, then they mail the correct item. If you don't returner the incorrect item they bill you for it. In my situation, I had to reorder a completely different item because the hoodie I ordered was no longer in stock in the size I needed. I think it is wrong to inconvenience a customer when it is the mistake of the company. Why should I have to go to the trouble of printing out a shipping label, getting a proper package, and going to the post office to send it off? I would feel differently if it were a mistake on my part, but it wasn't. Ivory Ella has cute clothes, but their customer service policies are not worth shopping here.

We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this issue caused. Unfortunately all of our returns must be processed through the returns portal on our website and any incorrect item received must be returned. We handle returns this way, because offering an Instant Refund code (so you can place a new order right away) allows for customers to get the correct item much sooner, without having to wait for an exchange to be processed. We refunded the shipping on the new order so you did not have to pay anything additional. As an environmentally conscious company, we do not send prepaid shipping labels with every package as we do not want to waste the paper if the label is not needed, so any prepaid label does need to be printed. Also we send out items in re-usable bags, so that customers do not need to find additional packaging to send it back. Again, we are very sorry that you received the original order incorrectly. We aim to get every order out correctly, but mistakes still happen from time to time. We did not mean to inconvenience you in any way.

My daughter is 15 and wears a small in most tops. We ordered a small (confirmed sizing with their sizing chart) and got a very small shirt that won't even fit my 9 year old niece. Had to pay shipping to send it back and then they only gave us a partial credit. Yuck, Yuck, Yuck.
