I made my booking and they took my money and never refund me get out from this scam site if you still have time
[UPDATE]: After around 7-8 email communications, they went out of their way to refund the full amount. Waiting for amount to be credited. Apart from lousy replies to mails, I found their attitude positive to help out.
I booked the hotel by mistake, ref: *******.
Here by mistake means, I was checking the final price by going towards confirmation but not intending to confirm actually. Usually there are two stages of payment through CC, first includes card details and other includes OneTimePasswords/PIN/etc. This site did not ask for next step and booked right away. Since I didnt want to book, I dropped the mail immediately but there wasn't any response. I called up the bank and asked if there can be rollback of transaction, they said if the merchant(hoteling.com) hasn't claimed the transaction, you can still get all money back, just ask them to not claim. I dropped another mail along with Transaction Reference number I got from bank, but still there wasn't any reply. Now they are replying that the transaction is done and they are charging around 20% of the booking amount.
I have genuinely asked for 100% refund before more than 2 months of checkin date but still they are charging this much(Their policy said maximum 20%). Hoping to get a positive reply.
Since they don't have any number I can immediately call up, I had to depend upon email.

During your booking journey, on the payment page it clearly state: 'Please fill out your details below to complete your booking.' which means the booking will be confirmed and there are no other steps. I'm very sorry it wasn't clear enough for you, however unfortunately there is nothing more we can do in this situation.
Please let me explain, that every time customer decide to cancel the reservation and it's more than 7 days before the departure date (than it will be a full value of a booking), we will charge 20% of the full value of the booking. I'm very sorry for this, but you will find this information both on the 2nd page, next to the room description (you just need to press on 'i' button), and on the right side of the payment page.
Also our contact number is 001 888 9997710. This is an international number, which will connect you to your local line when you call it.

Unfortunately, I would never recommend using hoteling.com. I have notified kayak.com as their logo is on hoteling.com "AS SEEN ON KAYAK". This endorsement led me to trust their site for customer service integrity.
Hoteling booked me at a hotel that never heard of me, nor had my reservation in the system. Upon arrival at the airport, I rushed to this hotel to finish necessary tasks for work. Not only embarrassing and a dreadful experience, but after I was denied a room - I still had no place to stay or get my business done.
I was required to begin my hotel search over again and found a room to stay at for the next few days. This new room was 80-90% more but the best I could have done given the circumstances.
Hoteling contacted me via email hours later stating they tried to reach me numerous times, which is untrue. The email continued to read that they could set me up at a hotel I had never of and could not travel to.
Hoteling never contacted me from when I booked through my failed attempt at hotel check-in. Who is to say that even had I followed their recommendation to stay at the 'suitable alternative', the reservation would be honored. The first one was a false reservation so what faith should I have.
There business model is centered around people who do not follow up, business travelers who expense everything, etc. Their business practices are bait-and-switch based and their customer service is shameful in this competitive hotel booking space.
I am currently requesting a refund, it has been 4 days now and no budge on their end. They are very unresponsive to emails and phone.
Still trying and hopeful they will do the right thing. There are better places out there, I would recommend against Hoteling.com. All online hotel booking folk, beware.
Booked hoteling.com as the price of the hotel in Bali that we had decided to stay at was cheaper than other sites on TripAdvisor. Received email confirmation within a day and payment was taken from my bank almost immediately on booking, however, cannot seem to "manage my booking" by viewing the document on the website and states to "please call and no number provided. Needless to say after then researching the company there has been some very negative experiences and feedback almost stating company is Fraudulent. So obviously very stressed, contacted Hotel directly only to discover there is NO BOOKING and no payment received and obviously money from our bank account was taken out 13 days ago? Attempted to contact Hoteling on the number on booking confirmation to only find this does not exist. After 30 mins of attempting to find a number in USA, I called from Australia and was on hold for 14 mins before hanging up as it would have cost me a small fortune. Emailed hoteling.com and received an email to say they will look into this but need the hotels number? Not sure if I was to give this. I can only hope this is resolved as the hotel cost was $1,167 Australian dollars. If this is not resolved I will take this matter further. I cannot understand how money is taken from our bank but no booking after 13 days has taken place, yet you have confirmed booking? Hopefully this will be resolved... Have not been able to contact direct, email is the only process and waiting for a response.It's our 20th wedding anniversary and I thought by booking on tripadvisor that it would be safe. Should have read the reviews prior to this. STAY AWAY!

Also I contacted the hotel directly who found your reservation only with name of the lead guest and the date of your arrival, so I'm concerned to know that you were advised about the issue with the booking.
Moreover, the reception assured me that everything will be ready for you and you could check your reservation by calling them with your surname and arrival date or their internal reference number.

I booked a hotel on Feb. 25,2016 for a 1 night stay Saturday, Mar. 5,2016 to have a girls night. The hotel that I booked (181.46) with looked to be the best choice, but once I got there it was terrible! As soon as I went to check in the lady at the desk told me that there would be a $30 fee that will be refunded upon checkout and I was ok with that. The hotel was total chaos! The toilet didn't flush, the furniture tarnished, 2 thin sheets on the bed to sleep, NO HOT WATER, plugs were not easily accessible and the staff were very rude and seemed improperly trained. I had gotten weary of calling the staff member up(never came) so I went to check out that same night and ask when the manager would be in. I called the following day to speak with the manager. The staff continued to say the manager was not in yet, but said she would be there shortly after hours and hours passed and the phone started saying my call would not go through. I called the corporation which they had the manager call me only to find out the lady had charged me $131 and change that should be back on my card in the next business day but she also stated that I would have to contact hoteling.com which I did. Went to the website where the only way to contact them was by email! After they did NOT contact me back I began digging, digging and digging for a phone number bc of course they did not send one on my confirmation email and I soon found one on a negative review of the website. Contacted them where they wanted me to send another email. They then emailed me saying they could not refund me because I left for personal reasons and I didn't call them before checking out of the hotel (didn't have any type of number to call) I am telling you, Do Not spend your hard earned money or even your business' money to book with them. Still have not heard back from them!

I live in the Ft. Lauderdale, FL area and on March 23,2016 I booked a hotel room for the weekend in Miami Beach, FL. I searched online using Kayak and found a hotel from Hoteling.com for the weekend of July 22-25,2016. I used my debit card and paid $346.75 for the hotel stay including all taxes and resort fees. The charge appeared on my statement and I received a confirmation email from Hoteling.com confirming my stay. Prior to my stay, I contacted the hotel directly to confirm my reservation and they had all my information in the system and said I was all set for my stay with them. When I arrived to the hotel they said that my reservation showed cancelled but it would be no problem to reinstate it. The hotel then asked me for my ID as well as the card I used to book my room. Since I had used a debit card to book my room they also asked me for a credit card to keep on file. I felt that was standard protocol when you are staying at a hotel so I provided my credit card as well. When I went to check out of my hotel I was informed that Hoteling.com never paid them for my stay and that the hotel had charged my card so they could get paid for the room. I have contacted my bank and reported these charges as fraud and hope to be reimbursed. BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS STEALING MONEY FROM PEOPLE, DO NOT USE THIS SITE, IT IS A SCAM!
Bill your credit card and never make the reservation. Hope someone sues these guys. Never ever ever use them!

Answer: Yes we received a full refund but only after many emails and posting on as many sites as i could like this and getting onto Trivago as we went through their site. Waited 30 odd days for a booking which was never going to come. Kept in touch with hotel and the booking never came through. It is all a big Scam
