I am VERY angry that hoteling.com DID NOT represent itself as a company in a FOREIGN COUNTRY. The website does not state or EVEN attempt to warn USA citizens that we need to be aware of a FOREIGN transaction fee by some crefit card companies! I have several cards and OF COURSE would have use one that that would NOT charged and ADDITIONAL $15.57! This information should be BOLDLY stated on the payment tab.

I have READ and REREAD the terms and condition. AGAIN I state there are No words stating the company's headquarters is in SPAIN. Had I known I would have used another credit card. I CALLED customer service and I was told I would have to cancel then rebook the room. Problem is the price of the room has increased by $5 a night. Hoteling.com does appear to have good rates. I am just asking for the website to include this information BOLDLY on their website.
I booked with them 5 days ago charged me and sent me a refence booking number in the confirmation email every day i called the hotel and never showed up in their system after 5 days waiting i spoke with an agent she asured me that travelgate(their supplier) could not booked me and i was gonna get a full refund and that i had to wait for 9 hour for an email. 9 hours passed i spoke with one of their "agents" again and he told me he had to confirma i wasnt booked in the hotel with travelgate when the previous day i was told i was not booked already, i told him what happened and he said he sent them another email so basically now i cant book in another hotel with the fear that i might show up in the hotel after all and would waste another 400 dollars or wait untill the hotel gets full just to be told that indeed i was not boked at all what a scam, they ruined my vacation but do not let them ruin yours do not go near this website please i beg you

I BOOKED THROUGH THEM AND 5 DAYS BEFORE OUR CHECKIN DATE MY WIFE HAD TO HAVE EMERGENCY SURGERY. BECAUSE THEY HAVE A 6 DAY CANCELLATION THEY KEPT MY ENTIRE PAYMENT OF ALMOST $350. Review of my credit card found overpayment on the final price quote provided by Hoteling.com. Appears all their transactions are processed in Spain, hence Hoteling pass on to the customer (via bank) all international transaction costs - and all such information is silent and untransparent on their final quote.
After initial acknowledgment of overcharging, I have continually chased up their customer service for 9 weeks, finally getting a response after submitting similar online reviews - and they pretty much they told me to get stuffed and go see my bank. I will now be pursing them via the bank and our government ombudsman - deceptive business should be shut down
Never move from Expedia; 10 years of transactions with them made all across the world - zero issues. Your credit card payment aligns exactly with what the quote states

I thought the motel was beautiful. Rooms were very clean. The only thing bad was the price of the food. We had to go out to eat cause of the prices. Would have eat in the restaurant for breakfast.

It is now 50 days since I made a booking with this SCAM OF A COMPANY I have sent so many email to them only got a reply when I put a post up on sitejabber. TRIVAGO IS NO BETTER as they tell me to wait and my booking will go through do I wait like a lot of people on here, cancel at the last minute loose all my money, as booking is not confirmed with Hotel or do I go there and just hope for the best. NOT FOR ME I LIKE TO HAVE THINGS CONFIRMED. It has just cost me $96 to cancel after constant requests to this company to let the hotel know about the booking. I was told I should expect a refund. But never got one, when I emailed, they tell me I don't qualify for refund because it was less than a week. But I had just booked it. Never again use them.

My plan has been changed. So I send them an e-mail to make a cancellation and about fees. And they replied me shortly that ----------

So I cancelled a booking on thier website 10 days before check-in date.
But there's no refund on my bank details after 7 days so I send them an e-mail again but I got a reply that they don't refund. WTF?

Also I made an option - Australia in the bottom of the website and booked. But when I checked my bank account it was few hundred dollars different... They showed me USD Dollars? It seems they're USA website. OmG... Much higher than I saw the price!

After having a trouble free booking experience it was followed up with disappointment!
A week before our booking, one of the friends travelling with us was diagnosed with breast cancer. I contacted Hoteling via email, as it was the only way to do so, to ask abot cancelling 2 of the 3 rooms we had booked due to the illness of my friend. I was sent an email stating the rules for cancellation which was fine. Unfortunately the only way to do this was to cancel all 3 rooms and get no money back! I did not want my room cancelled and also did not want to pay for it again.
When we arrived at the apartment on the Friday I explained what had happened and was told I may get the following night refunded if I could contact Hoteling and they could rebook to rooms.
This was nearly impossible due to fact I was unable to find any contact details for Hoteling except the email I had already emailed twice.
The receptionist found a phone number for me that was in America... hence I never called as it would of cost me more for the phone call than the room was.
I was very disappointed as I was hoping to receive something back for my friends considering this was completely beyond their control!
Therefore I will not be using Hoteling ever again.

I booked a two night stay with hoteling.com at what was a great price. After entering my credit card details for the final confirmation I had a screen on my ipad then come up to say that in fact it wasn't confirmed and they are waiting for the hotel to come back to them. As far as I was concerned, when making and paying for the booking it was a confirmed transaction. Checked my credit card the next day and of course the total for the two nights had been charged to my card. On emailing them they told me be patient as they were still waiting for confirmations. As my booking was for a holiday date of course I wanted confirmation there and then. However, I left it a couple of days before again emailing and said either confirm or refund. Nothing was heard and then two more days later I receive an email stating the hotel couldn't confirm so they would refund my monies which in fact they did a day or so later. The point is if they haven't got the rooms they should not be advertising the availability. Even more galling is the fact that they are still advertising the same price for the dates I had chosen. I will not be dealing thought this site again.
The room had everything I needed, and things that I didn't even realize I needed! And there was a fully stocked food pantry with a wonderful honors payment system. Would definitely recommend.

I must apologise for my poor post on hoteling as I was just a bit concerned about not having a room booked
Once I found the right email I was contacted in 10 minutes and issue was resolved within two hours
I couldn't get the room I booked but have been reassured of a full refund and now at least I can rebook directly through the hotel and not worry about having two rooms booked

Answer: Yes we received a full refund but only after many emails and posting on as many sites as i could like this and getting onto Trivago as we went through their site. Waited 30 odd days for a booking which was never going to come. Kept in touch with hotel and the booking never came through. It is all a big Scam
