Easy to book. Website was informative enough. Pay now but able to cancel within a specific time prior to the date of travel was good too. Saving was excellent against other booking sites.
Booked all my hotels with Hoteling for my trip to southeast asia. Paid with local currency without any problems nor additional charges.
I would definitely use them again for my future bookings.

Booked at hotel in Tokyo and was looking forward to going, but made the mistake of booking through booking.com. We did not get a confirmation e-mail for our booking, just a reference number on screen after we paid for our room. When I contacted the hotel that we (thought) we had booked at room at, they had never heard of us and the reference did not match. Turns out that booking.com had charged us somewhere around 1000$ but not actually booking our hotel room.
When I (finally) got in touch with consumer service they asked us to wait a day or to (the booking had been made two months before) and they would sort it out. After several e-mails and phone calls, we were told that they did not manage to book us a room. This was one day before we were supposed to check in. So in short. We paid a hustling company 1000$ for a service they did not deliver, and which was never theirs to sell in the first place.
As I understand it, this company takes money from unsuspecting costumers, in the hope that they are able to buy up bulk rooms. So some may be lucky and get the room they actually paid for, and others (like us) have to pay a higher price for another hotel (being close to arrival) because booking.com sells rooms before they are theirs to sell.
So even though there are some positive reviews as well as many bad ones, if you dont want to be the victim of a scam company. Stay away.
We booked the wrong date for a hotel stay and when we tried to email customer service were told to just call the hotel and if they said it's okay then they will just authorize it. Which was not true even though I have an email stating they would. I tried contacting them and they don't have a customer service number in the United states. When I finally got transferred to someone they advised that I could not make any changes even though i made the reservations seconds before speaking with this rep, she was very rude and told me I could not speak to any manager or anyone else to get this fixed, I only wanted to change the date not cancel. Any date and I would of been happy just not Easter Sunday and I received no solution to this problem. I've worked in customer service my whole life and I was stunned at the unprofessional and rude service, I will never do business with this company or refer them to anyone either. This is what happens with your jobs are outsourced to another country and there is no training in customer service. OK Rant over. Just thought you should know before booking with this company. This is my review and this is my opinion.

I'm truly sorry for this situation. I can imagine your frustration and disappointment, unfortunately you've booked with us non refundable room and we are not able to amend it. We make a reservation straight away after your booking and once everything is confirm, we depend on our supplies cancellation and amendment policy. I booked a hotel with them and they never paid the hotel. Only charged my card for the full hotel price. Then I changed my travel plans, so I called them to update it and they said no refunds, no changes, NOTHING! So I called hotel directly and they said the reservations were canceled by Hoteling. I asked them if they impose a fee? They said no, that they received nothing and charged nothing for changes or cancellations. That the company Hoteling was keeping my money, not them.
So i called Hoteling. Com again and they said, no refunds, changes or anything. And that I am at a FULL LOSS of payment, even though no services have been rendered and I'm weeks away from the dates!
So they screwed me out of all the hotel money, paid!

I'm truly sorry to hear that you're disappointed with our service. Please let me assure you, that we would never pressure anyone into booking with us, and while making the booking you need to confirm our policy. As you've agreed on it, it means that unfortunately if you decide to cancel the booking within 10 days till departure (5 days in your case) it will be a full loss (more than 10 days we are returning all the money paid, unless it's a non-refundable option). When booking with us you need to agree on our, not hotels policy which results in applying our cancellation charges. I apologise that your experience with us wasn't as satisfactory as it could have been.

Almost 2 months ago I booked a reservation for a hotel in Maui that was going to be for this Saturday (1/16). When finally looking back into the details in preparation for my trip I could not find the confirmation email for my booking, for which I had a credit card charge come through on 11/27. After searching and calling the hotel to see if they had my reservation and trying to use the horrible website "contact us" section that required a booking reference number (which I did not have since I did not have a confirmation email), I started to become a bit unsettled. After quite a bit more investigation I finally found a refund on my credit card statement many days after my initial charge for the amount that I had paid for the booking.
First, it is ridiculous how difficult it was to find a phone number or email address to even try to contact this site, and second, it is INEXCUSABLE that you would refund my booking without any sort of notification. I wound up having to book a hotel tonight that was double the cost of the one I thought I booked through your site due to the short notice.
I'm doubt there is any way for hoteling.com to rectify this ludicrous mistake, but even still, on principle and for my own peace of mind, I had to let others know that I am extremely unhappy with this service and will make sure that anyone I talk to does not use hoteling.com. I will be posting negative reviews of my experience anywhere I can to warn others of these deceiving practices. Your sham of a site and horrible treatment of your customers is despicable.

Same story here, I booked a room, paid in full and no confirmation for 3 days nows just their "voucher" which means nothing to the hotel I booked. What really bites is I did search for reviews online prior to booking. F'n Yahoo! Search turned up nothing except the company's website. Now on Google I find SiteJabber and all this. I called AMEX and luckily they offered to credit me $50 if I just cancel rather than wait to see if they're really ripping me off as I'm standing in the hotel lobby holding my bags and their worthless voucher. If you were truly concerned with and involved with my case you would know I've already cancelled my reservation, Your "vouchers" contain no confirmation numbers for the hotels you claimed to have booked. Your customer service reps offer no solutions, just excuses and extended hold times. When I called the hotel they had no record of my reservation and the reference number given is not theirs, it is only your way to keep your story with your victims straight. I have reported your misdeeds to Trivago and advised them to remove you from their site. When our customer wish to cancel the booking, a cancellation fee applies. Unfortunately, the fee is needed to cover the admin costs of the hotel booking and various suppliers that are involved in your reservation.

I BOOKED A HOTEL WITH HOTELING.COM FIVE WEEKS BEFORE MY TRIP AND THREE DAYS LATER THEY CANCELLED THE BOOKING. Once the booking is made we try our hardest to secure it with the relevant supplier and it usually may take up to 72 hours to receive booking confirmation. Sometimes it happen that hotels are not able to honour our reservation and as we do not own any of the selling hotels, we have no control over it.
I can assure you that this is not our standard practise and we feel very sorry that we couldn't meet your expectations. I can imagine how unpleasant it could be for you, so please accept my sincere apologies.

I booked my hotel through Trivago. Where I apparently get forwarded to Hoteling.com. As soon as I had booked my hotel, I received my order confirmation from Hoteling.com. I checked my order right away, and it seemed to be correct. A few days later, I checked my order again, just to see if all the details was correct, but something went wrong when I tried to get the website Hoteling.com. Since I didn´t find any phone number to Hoteling, I sent a message on their website. The day after I got reply from Hoteling.com with guidance about what I should do. That night I read all the bad experiences people had with Hoteling.com and I got very anxious! When everything seemed to be ok, I was satisfied even though the company had a bad reputation! When I finally arrived my hotel in Thailand ( a bit nervous) I was surprised and pleased that everything was okay! So Hoteling.com; thank you a lot for a lovely holiday - from a satisfied customer!:-) Hope all of you out there got the same experience as I did!

When attempting to book a hotel on hoteling.com a message was displayed on my computer screen that stated there was an issue with the transaction and to call a customer service number. After attempting to correct any errors I could have made on my payment information (which I always double and triple check anyway) I attempted to process the same transaction for the same room and was issued the same message. 24 hours later I saw charges on my AMEX for BOTH transactions!
NO confirmation emails, no booking reference, no receipts... seems unreal right?
Needless to say after TWO FAILED ATTEMPTS, I booked my hotel through a different website (obviously). It would appear that I am not the only person who has run into this issue with the website. I sincerely hope that after reaching out to the refund department, I am not bullied into this reservation and charges like it appears others have been. That would be extremely bad for business. PLEASE FIX THIS hoteling.com. Your deals are great but this is not good PR for a new website. I really hope I can take this review down once the issue has been resolved, as I work in the customer service industry and I know how bad reviews like this can be for business.

I booked a hotel through Hoteling.com and now they are saying that the Hotel is not honoring the booking because the price is quote 'Obvious not right' unquote, yes with the capital O.
How arrogant! Now Hoteling is refusing to make things right.
Now they want to charge me the full amount which Obviously not right too!
Update: even after asking me to contact them, they are still insisting they had mixed up the pricing and not accepting their mistake and keep shovelling their T&Cs to my throat.
Hoteling is still not wanting to resolve this matter,

Answer: Yes we received a full refund but only after many emails and posting on as many sites as i could like this and getting onto Trivago as we went through their site. Waited 30 odd days for a booking which was never going to come. Kept in touch with hotel and the booking never came through. It is all a big Scam
