It is a scam: I have just been ripped of 400 dollars by them: no confirmtion email: just scammed the money: for a hotel in Hobart: no booking no confirmation: and this is linked to trivago..
I booked a hotel in France with them. Not only was I charged the whole amount immediatly but they have so far NOT sent the refund as they promised. A guy named Luckaz is rude and keeps telling me the refund has been wired. It has not. BEWARE!

But so far so good,
Hoteling responded to my mail the same day and they assured me that my booking was made at the hotel.
I even got an email from the hotel that everything is okay and that our booking was allready in their system!

I was very skeptical after booking with hoteling after reading all of the bad reviews. They are a 3rd party who books through another 3rd party so it takes time to set up the reservation for them. I got a confirmation email right away unlike other people. I was very nervous and contacted customer support who assured my reservation was received and processes. This was booked quite a while back (4 months before trip) which seems to be the best for hoteling. I called the hotel today and they confirmed our reservation and it was all correct!
Advice: do not use hoteling for last minute purchases.

Save yourself the stress, these five stars are probably paid or fake accounts. They immediately charged my credit card which came up as fraud to my company so luckily I was able to call and cancel before they charged me a cancelation fee, which apparently they misbook everyone in order to charge them that fee. Capitol one is now sending me a new card because that company is on such high alert I'm better off canceling the card.

As we're a Spanish based company some banks may block the transaction due to being international. If it happens, we always refund customer in full. It was to have been a room in Gatlinburg for a very important date and what they had booked me was a room in Knoxville, they waited to call the Monday before of the Saturday I was to arrive to let me know this and I ask for them to find me another room at the same rate and I was told they could not so I ended up having to cancel very important plans! Needless to say this will be my first and last time of use! I won't even give this a star!

I booked with this site and they changed the date of the booking without my knowlege before I pressed book. Thus it booked for the wrong day and i cant get my money back. Tonight i have no money and no where to sleep thanks to this site. Do not use.

We needed to stay a month in a distant state for my husband to obtain a life saving surgery. The price was a big thing for us and we found a fabulous price. We liked the hotel do much we changed all our other reservations to our first place! That place felt like home to us! I booked a room at the hyatt for the three of us. We paid for the room, which at a very good price, upfront. I have called the Hyatt to confirm our room and was told we have a room with one queen bed. My confirmation says "Run of the house Double (family plan)" Now hoteling.com says I need to cancel, pay penalties and rebook through their website.

Outright criminals.
Luckily, I called the hotel to confirm my booking (after receiving a hoteling.com 'confirmation') and found they had booked half the days but took all the money. They do not respond to emails and have no working phone number.

We made a booking through trivago, which indicates that hoteling.com is a partner. This is a company operating out of Spain and they are stealing peoples money. We are going to be contacting our local news stations and hope this scam website gets shut down before too many people lose their money! They charge up front for the whole stay. 4 days later we contacted the hotel in which we were supposed to have a booking and they have no record of the booking. Upon trying to cancel this booking hoteling.com advised us there will be a 20% fee to cancel the booking even though the booking is months away. PLEASE BEWARE! THEY DO NOT ACTUALLY BOOK THE HOTEL FOR YOU THEY ARE JUST TAKING PEOPLES MONEY!

I have book a 4 night stay in taipei from them. When im on my way to taipei. I have receeive a email saying that my booking as cancelled. I guess they never even placed any booking in the first place to the hotel. What the... I emailed hoteling about this and no reply from them. I have check with my bank transactions and confirm that they have charged me already! So end up i have to last mintue looking for hotel for my stay! Better book from trusted website*

Unfortunately we have also been scammed by hoteling.com. After reading your reviews and the ones on another website I followed up directly with the hotel with regards to the booking we made with hoteling.com for 5 days on 6th February 2016 as part of our honeymoon in the Philippines and guess what the hotel have no record of our booking! The hotel manager even phoned me and has put this in writing to me and hoteling.com to confirm they haven't got our booking. I have contacted hoteling.com several times over the last two weeks to get a refund. I get slow replies from hoteling.com saying they are looking into it and some of their correspondence does not make sense it is as if they are fobbing me off and it is me chasing each time for a reply and I have demanded a refund. I have now contacted my bank as I paid on visa card and they are going to investigate this and get a refund. We have now been forced to booked a different hotel with Expedia as otherwise we will have nowhere to stay when we get to the Philippines. Hoteling.com took the full amount of money from my account back in November for this trip - what a disgrace! Do not book with hoteling.com they are a scam! I will be seeking further legal advice and taking further action on return from our honeymoon.
27th January - to update my review I have sent the case to *******@hoteling.com as per Martyna's advice and I will update you all with the outcome to this - we want our money back asap.
14th February - to update my review now we are back from our honeymoon in the Philipines I have eventually received a refund however no explanation as to why this all happened. We had to book alternative accommodation elsewhere as otherwise we would have had no where to stay. Never again will I book with hoteling.com, I hope this review helps someone else.

Start with the good, your site is easy to navigate and set up booking. The customer service person I spoke to was very nice. On the other hand though; I do not think it is completely appropriate to keep a person entire payment if the booking was canceled a week from the date. I can understand charging a cancellation fee of some sort maybe around 25% due to administration charges but to keep the whole thing is just greedy if you ask me. Life happens sometimes and plans have to change. Most of us out here don't have money to just give away. I will not be using your site in the future and will not recommend it to me friends and family. I will be more careful and ensure that I don't make this mistake twice, so thank you for the lesson. Answer: Hi I'm still waiting for my refund and they haven't come back to me with my email of a couple of days ago. My advice is still don't use this company.
Answer: Yes we received a full refund but only after many emails and posting on as many sites as i could like this and getting onto Trivago as we went through their site. Waited 30 odd days for a booking which was never going to come. Kept in touch with hotel and the booking never came through. It is all a big Scam
