The return invoice or H&M online website has nothing mentioned on the invoice that they don't take H&M home items in store only on the fine print.

I had a problem buying gift cards for the birthdays of my daughter-in-law and granddaughter who live in the US. Having had trouble with the US site I bought e cards for them from the U. K. site only to realise afterwards that the cards could only be used as n the country in which they had been bought. I contacted US customer services and told them my problem. They could not have been more helpful and had gift cards in US dollars posted to the girls. I cannot prais them highly enough!
Ordered several items online and when the package arrived it had the correct shipping label and packing slip, however the items did not match what I had ordered. When I called customer service, i was informed to ship back and I would be refunded. When I asked "what about my order?" I was instructed to place my order again online. When I inquired why the correct items could not be mailed out upon receipt of the return, I was told they don't do that. Well guess what H & M your customer service sucks and I will NEVER purchase another items from your company. Bad, bad business. I mean they made the error not me and this was the response.
I order a pair of pants on 5/20. I get and email saying my shipment is delayed and won't cancel my order. I paid an 14.99 for express. I need them for this Wednesday.

Bought a dress yesterday. Could not find phone number online as I had a query about the dress whether it is worn off the shoulders or if they had a smaller size. Rang Customer Service who advised me that I there is no direct number to the stores. The lady at the other end could not tell me anything about the dress. She asked if I could send a photo of it and nor could she tell me if the stores had a smaller size. She said that I needed to go into the store to find out. So what she was saying was that I needed to get back in my car, travel to the shopping centre, try to find a park and then go into the store to see if they had a smaller size. Now really H&M does that sound like good Customer Service to you? That sounds like no service to me. And I wont be shopping with you again if this is the way you treat your customers.
Horrible horrible experience. This is my first time going into the store and I was really excited but when I went to purchase they did not correctly charge me right. It wasn't until I got back home which is an hour away that I realize they charged me more for an item when it was on sale. I called customer service and they gave me a hard time and told me that there was nothing they could do and that the receipt was correct and I told them it was on sale but they didn't believe me. All they did was run me in circles. So I will definitely not be shopping here again. I've had better service at better stores with better customer representatives. It's a shame the way they treat their customers.
Reading other reviews, I now see that mine is not unique. I received the correct order slip but with the wrong products. When I contacted customer service, they said I had to return the incorrect items then would need to re-order my original order, which is so wild to me. Other companies would just send out the original order, no questions asked. I then had another issue with the return because the money was put back onto a Visa gift card I no longer had because I spent the amount on it. I requested store credit, and they said they couldn't do that. It's like they're going out of their way to *not* help their customers.
I ordered over $300 in multiple orders my one big order took over 2 1/2 weeks to get to me. And to make things worse my blazer for my wedding was not even in there and they STILL charged me for it! Has been a week and still have not received a refund. My second order was placed 2 weeks ago and still has not even been processed in the warehouse! I have talked to multiple people and nobody can do anything for me! Terrible customer service and even worse experience!
I shop at h&m sometime, but mainly in stores. I placed my 1st online order with H&M on a Thursday, today is the following Thursday and Ive just received my order confirmation! I called in to get tracking information the Representative I spoke with was rude and unable to provide me with a valid tracking number. I will never shop with H&M after this experience.The representative blamed ups for my tracking number not come up with results and his words like I said ups needs to update their website Drew B was his name
I just had a very poor experience with Edwin of customer service at H&M. My husband returned mail order items to the Friendship Heights store of Wash. DC and was told that he had to have the exact credit card that was used for the purchase. Instead, he was given a store credit. When I reported this to customer service, I was told that the same card used for the purchase must be used for returns. Since I had the receipt in from of me, I asked him to show me where that appears. His reply was that it tells you on the receipt to go to their website. This is a clear abuse of a customer. Moreover, he insisted that the only way to have my money returned was to go directly to the store. Another clear abuse. This is a company that exercises poor ethics. My guess is that young shoppers are taken advantage of on a routine basis. The leaders of this company and its Board of Directors should be ashamed.
I bought some clothes online and it took me two weeks to get the order. Once I did the clothes were completely different than what I ordered and the reciept was addressed to someone else in a different state. I called customer service and they told me to return the items and that they could reorder my clothes. It took me 45 minutes to sort it out and now I have to wait another two weeks to get my actual order and I didn't get a discount for their mistake. Waste of time, don't order online from them.
After the item reaches the warehouse it takes them 14 days to process it and initiate your refund. When you call or message them on live chat they keep saying the same thing and keep sending the same thing instead of giving you any update as to when your refund will be initiated. Then I asked them what was the refund amount, their answer was, you can see the amount in your order of the items returned you can calculate it. They are all clueless about everything.
The color labels do not resemble the color of the foundation. A return should be available, a resell of the item can be made at a lower price and both parties are satisfied. Either way, if I apply on my hand to check in actuality the tone of the foundation or applied on face, I still have to see for myself after risking my funds to trust your company to provide me the accurate label.
Extremely racist and rude cashiers especially the trashy dumb bimbo with 2kg makeup. This store seems to only cater to other white trash. Would not recommend if you're colored.

The worst customer service in history is the Greek H&M department. Recently, I placed an order and I was twice charged. The phone is broken. Contacted via mail and the first agent was so "kind" that replied in Greek for my English letter (I guess it needs to do with her xenophobia...) and directed me to my bank. I called my bank. Twice they confirmed that the amount for the order was twice taken by H&M. Till today Greek H&M and its enormous unprofessional, unsupportive agents keep directing back to my bank for a money which was taken by H&M system. Just never ever order from H&M.
For being such a great company, I dont understand why online shopping through H&M is so difficult esp considering that I live in the US! Their stock isn't as big online as F21 and their items go out of stock fast. However that's not my issue. WHY arent returns allowed in stores? That is so frustrating because shipping to me took forever and shipping back probably took over a month total. Then waiting for my return took a while too. This would have all been done quick if I could've returned in stores. Very stupid policy.

It is a cheat brand. I ordered 3 clothing items On COD. I recieved a fully packed consignment and after payment when I saw then there was an item missing of value approx INR 1500/. On repeated emails and tweeted they responded by saying that everything is ok from their side. So they are cheaters. I have never seen anything like this with any other brand like Amazon or marks and Spencer. So just keep away. Something like this can happen to you.
Wow... I always enter with caution so as not to get a headache from the caos they call a store, but today topped it off. Horrible service in long beach. People left upset without buying. I had my autistic son with me. He was sitting on a solid display and was told he could not sit there. I asked for a chair, no chair. Asked to use the restroom. No restroom. Told them he needed to sit somewhere while I shopped for him and my daughter. He was playing his video game. Sorry. Can't help. I was told. So we left. Thanks H&M. You need better policies and employee training.
Its been 6 weeks since I wrote this review. I received an email from H&M that they would look into it and get back to me. I'm still waiting Thank God I'm not holding my breathe!
I hate shopping at H&M. The employees have no knowledge of the products sold at the store.
Also, the cashier argued with me when I tried to return an item even though I had the receipt.
I received horrible customer service overall!
