What is so hard to be a go between and fetch a food order from point A to point B? Well you'll need to ask the dumbbells at grubhub. The last (and I mean "the last" 3 of 4 orders were either cancelled or incomplete. They do of course bill for the complete order, they never forget that! We've not yet tried door dash but have to try. Can no long rely on "DUH-HUB"
GrubHub, please teach your ignorant drivers how to use a call box outside of an apartment building. Find the name & press call. It is not rocket science. It defeats the purpose of DELIVERY if you have to come outside & meet the driver! Ridiculous & Ignorant.
One word to describe this services... SUCKS! If you want to have lunch at noon then I recommend ordering at 9 am. They take forever! If you are lucky and they send the order to the restaurant. I ordered an hour and a half ago and still haven't received my food. Then i called the restaurant and they told that they never got any order from eat24! You guys SUCKS BIG TIME! People do yourself a favor and do not order from here!
As Grubhub has grown they're service has gotten worse. Due to my job, I often used Grubhub about 3x a week since they arrived in Seattle. The larger they've gotten the worse the service. In the last six months I've had problems with not all my order arriving, having it take over an hour and a half to arrive, and it not arriving at all. Each time they apologize and tell me they are sending me a $10 food coupon online. They never do. Tonight was the final straw. They told me my food was on the way, then extended the delivery time, then when an hour and a half had gone by and I called they first informed me it had been delivered then informed me the order had been cancelled. They promise they will refund my money but I am not holding my breath. There are now so many other food delivery services out there that I will be changing my delivery service. I'm done waiting for them to work out the kinks in their system.
3 times ordering, Grubhub gave drivers(according to the 3 different drivers) the wrong address all 3 times, even after I called to make sure they had a note for the correct address after the initial address mishap(which no other delivery driver from any other service has ever experienced when delivering something to us, just Grubhub.) Also, wrong orders, all three times, missing many entrees, ending in my expense. Seriously, nobody in your party who is hungry wants to wait another 1 1/2 hours for the next wrong entree to show up. This service is a complete train wreck, a total joke. I am done, never again, never ever. I love Veggie Grill. I am so sad they have partnered with this incompetent service. Consider yourself warned.
L place a order for pick up and delivery, l was told the time of delivery a hour and a half way later l got a message that said order had been deliver, l check at my door no where it was not there, l message the driver and he said l cannot come inside the building, l said fine why didn, t you call for me to come down and pick up he said he had left it down stairs, now this is a 102 apt building, they rip me of $29 but l will never order from them again and will be placing on facebook and twitter to spread of bad service,
1) twice they have not processed returns when my food never even arrived
2) their customer service is slow, inefficient and rude (you eventually give up it's so slow)
3) they will send you codes that don't work and then charge you the full amount without notifying you that the discount wasn't applied
Really the worst company I have ever dealt with. I wouldn't have come back ever, except having my cc on file has helped when I can't find my card. I plan on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, and I recommend others do as well.
This is my first time using GrubHub and I will be using it again we placed an order before noon and it didn't arrive until after two! They sent me a confirmation email that it was delivered and it still didn't come until 45 minutes after that
I ordered from a restaurant and my food was delivered but my item was wrong. I have an allergy to what was added so couldn't eat my $30 order. I chatted with Grubhub and the rep told me she can't do anything about it, it's out of her control because she had the notes in there and to contact the restaurant. She told me that repeatedly when I was saying you are responsible, I placed my order through you. She said anything else before I leave the chat? I said yes, this is an absolutely terrible customer experience, manager please. The manager ended up refunding me $25 after asking if a credit would work. So I got partial money but no dinner after an hour of waiting (& I'm pregnant and very hungry). I wouldn't recommend and won't ever be using with my family again.
Used them twice. First time I waited over an hour. Today I ordered around 5pm ( a little before) kids were just back from practice and starving. At 6:20 I called to inquire about the status, they told me when they accepted the order there was no driver to bring it and now I have to wail till 7pm.
No thank you. Driving to the restaurant to pick up my carry out order.

Wish I could review without giving any stars...Missing 2 items from my order. Grunhub refused to bring missing items. My 91 year old mother was left without the dinner she ordered. Of course, we shared our dinners with her but, the point is, the entire experience was ruined & they couldn't care less. Refunding my money did not help the situation. Someone was left without food. Immediately canceled membership. I suggest not using this service because if your order is missing items, you will go HUNGRY.
Terrible quality and service. I hope for their sake its because of government over-regulation and Trump's administration will let them finally provide the service that their hard-working employees want to provide. It's either that or the company is crippled by terrible management.
I placed an order for the first time tonight and never will again. The restaurant page I was ordering from had delivery selected, yet without notifying me it changed it to pickup as I went to the place order page. I placed my order and was like why does it say "pick-up"? Contacted their customer service only to be told I had selected pickup and if i had wanted delivery I should have chosen it on the restaurant page... which I had. UGH*. I was also told it was too late to change it or cancel the order. So I was stuck having to pick something up which I didn't want to do and was the very reason I had chosen to give GrubHub a try in the first place. So basically, do not trust the website and don't bother with customer service, they cant help with anything!
I've used the service before, but am now terminating the service as I am one of the deplorables that sat idle for the past 8 years in silence and now most liberal CEO's, news anchor's, Hollywood elite, musician's, etc. think they that have free reign for their sins over the past year, plus the few days since the election, and weeks to come, without recpercussion... I pray this firm, like Target, takes a massive nosedive... Sorry to the stockholders, but buyer beware when it comes to taking chances working for liberals and buying stock from a liberal entity...
Ugh, everytime ai order from grubhub my orders always get delayed by 35mins- and hour and that is ridiculous to me. You should be open and honest and let people know when there aren't enough drivers for an area before they place their order. I am completely unsatisfied with grubhub and will NEVER order through them again. Doordash is always on time 97% of the time.
The worst experience I have ever see. The same meal at the restaurant is 70 dollars through grub hub it's 105. Call customer support and they put you on hold or they just plain hangup. Order at 6ish 8 still no food turned around when I got someone one time the said it'd be another hour. Worst place ever.
I have to begin by saying that I entered the incorrect number address for my order. Customer service called me to verify the address and I supplied the correct information. After another 20 minutes I called back and had to go through it all again. This CS rep put me on hold then dropped the call. After another 20 minutes I got another call telling me the address was incorrect. I tried to explain that I had already been through this twice but he didn't understand me. Eventually, two hours after I placed the order it showed that it had been delivered. Hope they enjoyed it. Incompetent customer service!
They offered a promo, which I followed to the letter. I didn't receive the code I was supposed to receive so I used their customer service online chat to ask about my code. The agent was very short with me and didn't give me a chance to respond between what they were typing. I'm on a cell phone, I don't type that fast. I started another chat and was assured that my code would be sent to my email address that day. I gave them a few days, still nothing. So I contact them yet a third time today and get told that my email address "didn't qualify" for the promotion. So I follow the promo requirements to the letter and don't get my code, they lie about that. Then I talk to an agent that says he's sending me my code, another lie. I will. NEVER use these people again.
Worse experience ever dealing with a delivery service. We ordered a pickup order from Fuzzy's Tacos which totalled around $30. On top of that we agreed to pay 20% tip for the driver. 30 mins went by and we called to check if the food had been picked up by the driver and were told it wasn't. We were finally able to contact GrubHub customer service, who told us that the order was for pick-up. Who uses a delivery to schedule a pick-up? You just go to the restaurant since you have to do that anyway! They offered no other options and no refunds. So we are screwed out of $30 and needless to say will not be using Grub Hub or dinning at Fuzzy's Tacos ever again. I will write a special blog about this incident and so everything in my power to discourage everyone I know from using GrubHub! Some companies have absolutely no problem putting money ahead of their customers... those companies won't last long!
27 times I have ordered food with no drink. Everyone says they are not allowed to go in the bag to check the order but for the sake of all that's holy "How hard is it to read a receipt and see that there is a drink"? There's nothing better than getting food with no drink over snd over and over. Now this company has the bright idea to start delivery on convenience store items? How? You can't even get a food order correct. Everything should be cash only and if you don't have the order right then you don't get paid, plain and simple because I sure as hell don't want food with no drink. This place sucks wienie. Drivers pull up for delivery getting out they boyfriend car arguing and fighting not even using they own car.
