Okay, so my address is #1628. The driver went to number #1638. He kept saying that it was where GPS told him to go. Told him he was at wrong address over and over, gave up and decided that if I wanted to eat today then I had to go get my food from him. Had to leave my office in the pouring rain, to go meet this guy who refused to bring it to the correct address. Grub Hub was so nice to refund the tip I had auto given him at checkout. Gee thanks.
The company farms out their deliveries to other businesses who deliver. Ordered from Grubhub and delivery was handled by Dining In. Receipt stated order ready for pickup at 6:46 but wasn't delivered until 8:15, of course food was cold. I will never order fromGrubhub again.
We've ordered from them twice. The first time the food never arrived even after the confirmation email. Tonight is really the last time we use their services. Basically the same scenario. Food ordered, paid for, email confirmation and almost 3 hour later we get attitude from the gentleman on the phone. I realize it's not his fault however we spent over $70 on food and the restaurant was closed today. Kinda crappy but Eat24 had them open and available for business. Like I said we got an estimated arrival time, we were charged and recieved a confirmation from the restaurant. I'm super sorry that a 10$ off voucher isn't worth us attempting your service again. You already said it be 5 days before we would get our original payment refunded. Please just stop, you aren't very good at this whole thing. Even if Yelp bought ya. They pretty much suck at life too.
On 4 separate occasions Grubhub has canceled my order without notification. The they have the audacity to try and compensate me with$5! Its always an issue with them. I will not be using Grubhunb ever again.
My daughter worked for dining in and transitioned to the GrubHub company afterwards. Ever since then she's been treated absolutely horrible. If she refuses order she is denied blocks and is not able to access work. If she doesn't take a specific order that is in a bad neighborhood that it goes against her. I value my daughter's life even though you seem to not care about your employees. Dining in was a great company to work for unfortunately you haven't followed through with their good reputation. You need to value your employees way more than you do. I do not think you will do very good in serving people when your employees are so pissed off about not being able to work. How would you like to live on 10 to 12 hours a week.

Delivery was ok but a hidden $5.75 for the pleasure of ordering online.
They hide the fee and it's not on the restaurant bill. Sneaky and expensive.

I should have been reading the reviews before. God they're awful. Same story as most people below. In my case, the restaurant forgot part of my order and after being on chat longer than 20 minutes was told "they won't refund you cause the fries were only sides" WTAF! Really!? And as others have stated, the same piddly we'd love to offer you a $10 credit (meaningless when most of the minimum's are $15). So yeah, no bye GrubHub. This is one app that will be deleted. Don't waste your time.
Ordered lunch for work group because we were too busy to go out. 1 hour and 20 minutes later get call that the order is cancelled because 3rd party delivery company doesn't have any drivers until 4pm. They couldn't let me know earlier? You know early enough so my team could still order pizza and have time to eat lunch. Instead they lied and said they'd tried to contact me earlier- not true- no missed calls. I'll never use eat24 again.
Second bad experience but by far the worst service I have ever received. I placed an order for a small group of family and friends for ~$60. About an hour and 15 minutes later, after receiving time updates via text, I get a phone call telling me the restaurant that I ordered from is closing early because they ran out of cheese and other ingredients to make the pizza! Huh? Did I have to wait that long to receive that news? They said money would be back in my account within 3-5 business days. They had no answer to the question 'what if that was all the money I had left? Am I supposed to go to bed hungry coz YOU made a mistake?' She honestly said, 'Yes, unfortunately'. Thank God I did have more money and I ended up ordering Dominos so it all worked out. Au revoir grub hub! PLUS JAMAIS!
I ordered 4 lunches with chips and dessert for a meeting that ran from 11:30-5:00. Of course I paid $62 for lunch, ordered a French Dip with extra Au Jus and not only did I not get extra, I didn't get any. French dip with no au jus is like peanut butter with no jelly... just try. When I asked about having some au jus delivered, I was told that they will not redeliver under any circumstance. So, it's a gamble. For me, there are other places with food that is just as good with MUCH better customer service. Bye GrubHub!
Because of a pretty serious health thing, friends recently gave me two gift cards, one was for $565, the other $100 so that I wouldn't have to worry about meals. It was very thoughtful, but NEVER do this. For delivery, by the time about three different fees are tacked on, a meal will be twice as much as its original cost.
Then there's all the tech glitches. Today, after (mostly successfully) being able to use my GrubHub gift cards, my orders wouldn't go through. S customer support person said I would hear something in 48 hours. Two days. GrubHub took $665 of my friends' money for something I now can't even use and they can't even tell me why.
I can't emphasize enough: Don't ever use GrubHub or Seamless. Just send your buddies some $ via Zelle or something. These food delivery places are a ripoff.
Sent me chicken strips. I simply wanted my correct order. They said a redund is all thay could do.id rather have the food as Ive already paid. These delivery services are horrible, if your order is wrong thier is no quick fix
Ordered food that never showed up, driver who doesn't speak english can't find my appt building, restaurant manager knows nothing because it's a 3rd party, I have to wait 5 days for my refund!

Had an account with them to deliver for my restaurant. Drivers or rude, non professional looking and most can hardly speak English. I spoke with account advisor several times with no solution to the problems. Door Dash is a lot better, friendlier and drivers look professional. Also cheaoper to do business with and cheaper for customers.
Everytime we use grubhub they over charge you for your food and they can't keep there times they keep moving them farther out

I received an e-mail 5 hours before scheduled delivery time my order had been canceled, due to no driver available. 2nd time I have tried Grubhub, even after 1st order was missing more than one item. Now I understand all the consistent bad reviews, stay away!
