There was no problem with the food. This is the driver. He had difficulity trying to find my place. So I stood outside and waited cause he couldn't find it. I told him the side that has the office. The first driver I had also had difficulty too, but she called me and apologized. This driver just said "The next time you wanna do that, say the side with the gas station. I have other deliveries to make." And when he said he left it on my doorstep the first time, he texted "Can't find the house" I hardly ever complain. Because I know how much it sucks to work in food and deal with customers. But he didn't apologize or say have a good night or anything. Completely rude. And yes, I tipped him.
Customer service is horrible. I called and placed an order and after an hour and a half they cancelled it on me. I called the customer care service line to get my refund the operator was rude and did not refund my money. I won't be using grubhub any more. I will just use door dash instead. No respect for the customer here. I waited the 5 days to receive my refund. I never got my refund. Customer care was rude and unhelpful. This is not how you do business at all.
The tracking feature is great! You can watch your food get cold while it sits at another restaurant (driver getting another order) for almost 20 minutes. We live less than 4 minutes from the restaurant. Cold soggy food, yuck. There is a very limited way to complain about one food item... you should pick the most expensive item to get a refund.
Ordered 3 times from them. 1st food never was delivered. 2nd every was wrong with my order, like opposite day. 3rd ordered night before, food never showed.

I order from a local restaurant twice within the last month. Both times, the order came wrong. The first order, an item from a combo was missing. This morning's order, the entire order was wrong and the despite the driver confirming the order at the drive through several times. I refused delivery of the order and told the driver that the restaurant gave him someone else's order. Grubhub only refunded me on the food but not on the high delivery fees. It is not right that I, or anyone else, should be out delivery fees when they get the order completely wrong. Nothing against the driver, it is the company and the restaurant, a local Jack in the Box, that has ripped me off. I will no longer use Grubhub or order from that restaurant again. What's the worst: there is NO phone number or email to contact the company. Customer service has gone down the toilet in 2020.

I ordered delivery from a local restaurant. First, the estimated delivery time increases more than 30 minutes as the original delivery time came closer. When I was able to track the delivery drivers whereabouts I noticed that he made 2 more deliveries before he finally approached my destination. When he arrived, he dropped the food on my driveway. When I asked him about the incident, the driver responded: I don‘t take your $#*!. Then he picked up the mess and drove away without any explanation. Took me a while to find a way to contact Grubhub about the incident as the app only showed that the food had been delivered without any options to comment. When I finally was able to find a phone number to call, the person on the phone was professional. Anyway, based on this experience, I will not use Grubhub ever again.
The reviews about orders being dropped, food arriving cold, payments being taken and having to fight for a refund are true. We gave Grubhub many chances to get it right thinking it was just a one-off but it's clear this is how they conduct business. WILL NOT USE GRUBHUB EVER AGAIN.
Drivers are allowed to accept another order fro the same or nearby restaurant. That means my order sat in the GH bag getting cold for well over 45 minutes. That is not acceptable! I do not recommend Grubhub anymore and will not order from there again.
Placed first order at 4:21pm. After 2 hours of no driver showing up (the restaurant confirmed the order was picked up at 4:52) we cancelled and got a refund. Placed a second order and no food showed up again! Waited 2 hours for this one too. Called the restaurant and the food was picked up an hour ago. Should be a 15 minute drive, even with the snow. 2 different drivers literally stole our food tonight! Unbelievable. Do not order from here!

What more can I say - ordered for the first and last time from grub hub - food was delivered over an hour late- pizza was ice cold and was the wrong pizza.
Ordered some Sushi from one of the local places and when my order finally arrived over an hour late, I open the container and it looked like the driver just threw my order all around his car! My wife and I ordered 6 rolls in all and we couldn't even tell what was what! Costume service was even a bigger joke! Here's a coupon for 20% off your next order! Sorry asshats, they will be no next order!
After waiting two hours for a Taco Bell order, we finally received the order and absolutely everything was incorrect. We call customer service and we are told that we will receive a $10 refund for a $32 order, even though nothing was accurate and we waited 2 hours. Then we tried to ask for a supervisor and it took asking FIVE times for a transfer. The customer service representative just asked "why do you want to talk to a supervisor" I have absolutely never heard of this type of customer service and will never order from grub hub again
Done with this crappy service. Placed order at 3:30 for 6:00 delivery. 5:50 text that driver is on the way. 6:01 text that driver is near. 6:10 text that order will no arrive between 6:20 and 6:30.6:20 text that order will now arrive 6:30-6:50.6:30 text that driver on the way (Again I guess?) 6:32 I wait by the condo door. Look on my phone for order update, says it was delivered 6:34. Bull crap you pieces of poo nobody came. Start a complaint chat. Rep says they will cancel the order and refund. I asked what they are going to do to remedy this crap experience. They said to order it again. Last time I order through this crap. Will contact restaurants directly.
Do not waste your money or time because you'll be waiting 5 business days for your refund. Third time a charm with no delivery and over 2 hr wait to get email that said cancelled. AnD even better you cannot talk to a human or robot to lodge a complaint, save yourself and Never use GrubHub. If I could give zero stars I would.
I ordered dinner from Fazolis, and in my order I asked for 4 cookies. Normally I wouldn't have made a big deal over this, but this is not the first time this has happened and the 4 cookies cost an extra $8. Also in my delivery instructions I asked for the driver to call me from the front door directory and I'll let them into the apartment and to leave it at my door. I get a call as the driver is approaching my apartment complex and ask for me to come outside and meet him. I'm like "I asked you to bring it up here" he says he's got other orders to fullfil. So knowing I'm not going to win this one, I meet him outside. That has happened EVERY SINGLE TIME I have ordered with Grubhub. I go back inside and find out I'm missing all cookies and I've paid for them. I call Fazolis asking about it and they say they'll make them for us as long as Grubhub comes back to pick them up. I call Grubhub and complain. The guy puts me on hold for 8 minutes and tells me they can't fullfil my request because Fazolis won't make them for us. I tipped the driver all so he could give me poor service and steal from me. That is not ok. I will never order from Grubhub ever again. I do not recommend them ever.
If you want to go on a diet have these idiots deliver. You wont get anything except a half baked apology for leaving your bought and paid for meal at someone else house! I have tried grubhub in San Francisco, LA and now Seattle. All were horrible experiences and I don't know why I keep giving them a chance. They charged me for a sushi pick up and when I got there the restaurant hadn't been open for months. Now I tracked my driver for over 30 min driving away from my place and the restaurant. When I called the restaurant I was told he picked up my order 20 minutes ago and they are 5 minutes from me. I ended up picking up my own food and they did finally order but I'm not eating cold meat and fries. I'm deleting the app so I'm never tempted again.
