My wife received a grubhub gift card for $100. Great we thought, let's order something. Our favorite Thai restaurant is ~3 miles away. We tried to use the app. We entered the card number, got credit on the app, filled out a large order for food, the went to the checkout page, the check box to apply gift card didn't work. It just blinked and unchecked the box. Three "customer service" reps later they couldn't fix it. They are all former MacDonalds employees apparently. None knew how the software works. Finally went to the website instead and was able to enter it but NO Delivery! I will NEVER use GrubHub again.

Spent 15 min trying to get a new order right. Re-entered info several times. No luck. Called the restaurant and ordered by phone. Forget Grubhub! Just call if your are picking up. If not, call and see if the restraint can arrange delivery.
I tried this delivery company and was the worst of the worst. It does not even warrant a one star rating. The first time my order did not arrive and the second time it was delivered next door. Both times were performed my the same driver who was lacking in manners and common sense. Calling the company in Chicago only helps if you want a refund. The first time I was given a full refund with a 20% discount for next usage. The second time I was overcharged and had to call several times to get the charged amount readjusted. Still, the adjusted amount was still lacking. Trying to placate a customer like myself by giving another 20% discount was audacious and just plain rude. I did not overreact when calling the company but I expressed my extreme disappointment to the person on the phone. Grubhub needs a restructuring of their company immediately as it rips off customers and hires irresponsible drivers.
The service is too expensive. They will suggest 25% driver's tip, plus sizable service fee plus delivery charge. Seriously? Three charges for one delivery? Like 40% of bill included charges. Forget it.
Horrible experience. Used this app and ordered Chick-fil-a because it was on their list of restaurants to order from and it cancelled my order and did not notify me so when I checked my phone 35 minutes later to find out where they were is when I saw it was cancelled. I contacted customer support and she told me the reason is that Chick-fil-a isn't receiving orders so I told her then the list shouldn't have Chick-fil-a on it. Also, they say delivery is free but when you order on the app make sure to check the fees info and there is a delivery fee hidden!
Don't bother. I don't think they have any clue who the customer is! They simply don't care and that's fine use a company that cares..
I am a driver with GrubHub for food delivery. Was getting decent money and in their high tier. Recently they had issues with iPhone, which their CS confirmed. Due to their issue with iPhone blocks got market as absent. No one responds even after sending multiple emails

No customer service to email or anything on their site so I put my complaint here. Grubhub doesn't care about their customers. Don't allow this company in your town. I think it's evil like Uber.
I placed an order this morning because I thought they would deliver today. Instead they placed the order for tomorrow which I do not need. They also don't have a way to cancel the order. They have shady business practices and I will not be using them ever again. At this point, all I can do is dispute the charge with my credit card company and hope they rule in my favor.
Stay far away from this service thousands have had there cc actts hacked. And god help you if you use your debit card. Grub Hub is a hotbed for credit card theft and the company is well aware of it and could care less. Some people have lost thousands. Do a quick online search. I only used it to order once and six months later I'm paying for some kfc 1500 miles away. The aggravation of cancelling cards and getting replacements is a big head ache.
Never order anything that is delivered by Grubhub! I've done it twice and got very very sick both times! I thought it was a fluke, but after the second time, no I'm good! They must spit in the food! Always check to see if the restaurant has their own delivery service!
I got charged $90 for 3 Chili Dogs and a Large Dr Pepper! Driver refused to walk up to the 3rd floor. Told me I had to come down and pick it up or I could kiss there $#*!. They delivered the order 2 times. Customer assistance did nothing!
In my delivery order information it says that I use a walker give me time to get to the door. I had no idea my food was delivered except for my dog barking. The food was just left on my porch, no one knocked. I have a big sign on my door that says to knock loud and hand package to customer. This was not done and I had a very difficult time getting my food. I will never again use grubhub.
I am in Northern CA San Francisco area. I've ordered from Grub Hub three times. Twice they didn't show up. App says delivery in 30 - 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I call. They tell me it will be another hour and a half. Shame on me for giving them two more chances but Door Dash didn't have the restaurant I wanted. The one time they did show up, took them an hour and 10 minutes. This isn't a large service area so I don't understand why their service continues to be so poor. DOOR DASH IS AWESOME AND WHO I USE EXCLUSIVELY.
I live 12 minutes from taco bell, it took an hour and 16 minutes for my order to arrive. When we got our food, it was inedible, it was soggy mess.

We ordered sushi from our favorite restaurant several times throughout the past couple of months since we have a newborn daughter and need convenience. 2 of those orders were stolen by the drivers and had to be refunded. Grubhub then banned our account (presumably because they think we're stealing food). Horrible way to conduct business. Avoid Grubhub at all costs.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
