It's not just the drivers. The food is always late. They hate to refund your money. Always blaming the customer. Owned from overseas. When you call you can't hardly understand what they say.if your food is two hours late and you get it and tell them often they will suspend your account. These people should of name it Money grabbers. See a are high and their corporate office is terrible. They expect you to keep paying for terrible service. Just do door dash or uber eats. This company is the worst ever. One of their drivers told me ma I'm going to sit your food outside infant find your address. This company really stinks. The drivers are over worked and this company is rude.
I ordered Taco Cabana on GrubHub, and nearly 30 minutes later, I received a cancellation notice from GrubHub that says: The restaurant canceled because they're busier than usual and can't complete your order. The restaurant is open right now, I called. I don't understand why they're too "busy" for me, a paying customer, and "can't complete my order." The restaurant said that GrubHub didn't even contact them about the order. So what's really going on here? GrubHub always leaves me disappointed. I refuse to use them ever again for all of the cancellations and trouble they've caused me and my family. So, Favor picked up the order and didn't have any problems getting my order to me. This is for Grubhub and all other food delivery services out there except Uber Eats. Why do you have an option to leave a note when nobody EVER reads them? I travel for work every week and order a lot to my hotel and always ask for napkins and utensils and 99% of the time I don't get them. Take the notes option out because nobody reads them or cares. Uber Eats actually has a box to check for utensils. I'm done giving third and forth chance to these services. We need a delivery service that cares about the business travelers.

Placed order for 2 subs which took them 2 hrs to deliver. When I complained they gave me free delivery for 60 days. Great, or so I thought. Now it seems that our address has been flagged as both my wife and I get "No stores open near you" message. Needless to say I cannot take advantage of their "generous" offer.
GrubHub is consistent in that nearly every time I use them, there is an issue that causes some degree of aggravation and a submission requiring a refund. It is as if GrubHub begs for customer DISsatisfication and the loss of money. This is a culture that starts at the upper levels of managment, namely the outrageous costs borne by restaurants to participate. Customers as usual get the worst of the deal. It all needs to change if want to keep customers like me.
Used grubhub for the 1st time out of town driver took my kids food to wrong room then wouldnt answer phone for me or the grubhub representative. So unprofessional i will never use them again 10:19 at nite and my kids are still hungry. If u want your food i wouldnt recommend grubhub.
I'M DISABLED AND HAD ORDERED FROM GRUBHUB NUMEROUS TIMES. EVEN WITH THE BAD APP, THE BAD DELIVERY, AND THE BAD FOOD, I WAS STILL POLITE. SO I CALLED GRUBHUB AND TOLD THEM THAT I HAD HAD IT WITH THEM AND THEY NEEDED TO FIRE BILAL BECAUSE HE WAS DELIBERATELY GIVING MY FOOD AWAY. THEY WOULDN'T AND DIDN'T. 2 WEEKS LATER I WAS HUNGRY AND DESPERATE AND CALLED TO PLACE AN ORDER SINCE THE APP WASN'T WORKING. WHEN THEY ANSWERED, I LET THEM KNOW.
THEN WAS INFORMED THAT BECAUSE OF MY CONDUCT, BECAUSE OF INFORMATION THEIR SYSTEM HAD, THEY COULD NO LONGER DELIVER TO ME! I ASKED THEM ABOUT THE INFORMATION AND WAS TOLD THEY DIDN'T HAVE ACCESS TO IT AND COULDN'T TELL ME. SO I TOLD THEM THEY WERE EVIL. JUST LIKE THEIR SYSTEM. IT WAS RUDE OF ME, BUT I FELT BETTER. THEY SHOULDN'T BE IN BUSINESS.
This delivery service is horrible. I have been waiting over an hour for my food delivery. Estimated time 30 min. IHOP called and said out food had been sitting there over 30 min. And was the driver coming? This is the 2nd time they have dropped the ball. I will not use this Grub Hub anymore. My bill was over 130.00 with a 25.00 tip and nothing. People you should use another company other than this one.
This grubhub is so incompetent and worse among all delivery services. Whenever I order food from an african restaurant, they would cancel it after approving the order meanwhile they're being paid by these restaurants. Also, I remember placing an order for delivery and the app changed it to pick up. I tried changing the delivery and the app won't allow. I chatted them online to change and they said it cannot be changed or canceled. What kind of system is that? Why are they allowed to do business in USA? They're fraudsters.
3 separate orders I placed were delivered to the wrong address. I watched the drivers on their map going to a house and not my place of business. Each time I received cold food 40 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered. Called their "support" staff and they argued with me that the food was not delivered incorrectly and kept saying "I don't know" when I asked why they kept causing so many issues. Revoked my GrubHub membership after today's incident. They think refunding your money makes up for their AWFUL customer service and lack of understanding
Literally the worst customer service. They also will not arrive within any time frame they tell you. Do not use, I would recommend Uber eats over Grubhub any day.
This was the most ridiculous waste of 69 dollars it had nothing to do with the restaurant and everything to do with your service when I ordered it said 40 minutes after I paid wait time jumped to 1 hour it was actually about 2 hours before I actually received my order I wanted to cancel but I didn't want the restaurant to have to eat the cost of the meal for your bad service. Restaurants are struggling right now and that would be unfair so I as the consumer took the loss as my food was 2hrs old by the time I received it. I asked the driver to text or call when he dropped it off he didn't so I finally got back on the app only to see that it had been delivered 15min prior and sat out in the cold as it was almost 10pm my grand kids fell asleep waiting on dinner. I will never use grubhub again and I will share on Yelp fb and any other source of social media my horrible experience with grubhub and strongly advise against using your service.

Grubhub is getting worse! How is that possible? From the very high fees to the poor management of the driver's expected arrival times, it is time to go to other delivery services like Caviar, Postmates, UberEats, Door Dash, and others in Los Angeles for our food deliveries! For two nights in a row, we received cold food. The expected delivery times were extended by more than 30 minutes to an hour after the order was placed. When calling the restaurants, they say they weren't told to adjust the food prep time to make sure that the food is hot when it arrives. They get the order, they make the food. But then Grubhub adjusts the delivery time because the assigned driver can't pick it up on time, now the food just sits and gets cold. Most of us don't like cold burritos or burgers.
When contacting Grubhub chat (long hold times because too many people are dealing with the poor delivery service Grubhub provides) it took waiting 10+ minutes, only to hear, "you cannot get a refund" because their chat employees don't have that authority, so you'll have to wait even longer to be passed on to chat with a supervisor. Try to call, the hold times are very long, more than 25 minutes to get to a rep. When I finally did get through, she offered a 20% discount coupon just like the chat rep. I said I can't eat a coupon and the coupon won't warm up my cold burger. I told her I wanted a refund. When she told me she only had a coupon to offer, I said "absolutely not" please let me speak with a supervisor. Then she immediately refunded the entire purchase of $55 for two burgers! RIGHT? The cost of delivery is expensive and you would think that a delivery company charging so much (10% or more as and admin fee of each order) would do a better job to manage logistics, making sure that drivers stay on time or the order is postponed BEFORE being prepared!
Unfortunately, this is the new normal at Grubhub. If you like 30-60 minute unexpected delays on top of the already scheduled delivery time, and you really appreciate cold food, (I guess I should be ordering salads) then Grubhub is the delivery service for you! It is no longer for us!
Not only does this app suck for customers, but it is also horrible for restaurant employees. The notification ringer is so quiet that no one hears a new order. Not only that, but Grubhub decides how long the food will take to be ready without informing the business. How is Grubhub still running?! Horrible
So, I have used Grubhub in Tucson to get food for my son with excellent results. I have now used (or tried to use) Grubhub in Phoenix 3 times while here for business. 2 of those 3 times my order was cancelled. No reason was given, they just cancelled about 15 minutes after I ordered. It just happened again, so now I'm ordering pizza and I probably won't use Grubhub in Phoenix anymore.

My husband is sick and did not feel like leaving the house. So I decided to order from Grubhub for the first time. I ordered from a restaurant not too far from out home thinking it wouldn't take too long to get delivered. The driver took over an hour to get to my home and my food was stone cold.
