I'm happy to use services the help me get my food ordered or delivered. But Grubhub has been the ONE service that has continuously failed us. Took the order and our money, then we arrive to pick-up and no order came through to the restaurant. We order for delivery and it takes more than two hours for what's typically 45-60 minutes. Users beware!
I would put zero stars if I could, I ordered food twice from this website and both times they were not delivered. First time they didn't even send a picture when they dropped off the food, the second time it was delivered to the wrong address, 1 mile away from my location. I will no longer be using their services.
Contacted them 48 hrs go and complained about crappy service. Order was wrong, they didn't use coupon, food was cold and and hr late. No one emailed or contacted about the issues. I emailed them again and told them the problem they stated contact Applebee's. I order it from grub hub this is the second issue last time grub hub gave someone my food. Now I can see why there are not a lot of food restaurants on grub hub. Being a nurse in a hospital this was great but not anymore.
There is just too many times food is missing! I understand restaurants leave off items however with delivery, drivers can be suspect. Grubhub should require a check of items and also require sealed bags for delivery.
Driver was running late with ice cream from carvel and texts me that he can't find my building. I send the driver direction and try to call him. He doesn't answer the phone so I can explain where my building is, he then leaves my food in another building and tells me to "go for it" mind you those building numbers don't even exist. His Name is Wilson and he has no picture. See texts below.
Ordered my food. First time. Downloaded app etc. After I placed my order it said delivery in 45 minutes. Okay. Then I get a text with 5 minutes left before delivery that a delay of 25 minutes. Okay. Grrr. But then nothing for an additional hour and half after latest delivery time. Which was almost 1 a.m. and I was tired and no longer hungry. Just mad. No apology except from driver, no refund and cold food. Thanks for stealing from me.
We repeatedly had problems with orders (missing items, incorrect items, very late delivery). Instead of giving me a refund they only credit your account, effectively giving you a coupon only having any value if you use their service again. Terrible.
Someone across the country used my account to order 80$ worth of pizza. I have a medical condition and don't earn much money, in fact I rarely order grub hub. When I brought this charge to their attention they didn't refund me. They took off the payment method from my account, but that doesn't help with the entire shifts worth of money I lost and could've used to pay doctor bills. I'm going to delete my account and just switch to doordash.
Nothing like getting a $17 salad paying Like $30 and them forgetting your salad dressing! They gave me a dry salad and it didn't give the option to note they forgot my ranch! They put my food on the neighbors porch 98% of the time! Even though my notes clearly say where to go. They need to lower prices it's way too expensive for such poor service.
Ordered food from restaurant for approx $150. Grub hub added $50 for tip, service fee and $8.88 tax for a total of $200. Tried several times to reduce tip to $10 from $26, but due to tech issue paid, the changes did not go through. Though the money went to Grubhub, they kept insisting to ask restaurant for refund.
I ordered a medium size pizza with sausage & mushrooms to be picked up by me. The cost was $25.89 with tax 27.96! I could not cancel. When I picked it up classic pizza advised never use Yelp as it directs orders to Grub Hub and their surcharge is outrageous.
Driver left my order half a mile away on the ground in front of a closed leasing office and said if I didn't like it I could take it up with support.
I emailed screenshots of his angry texts to support.

I ordered from Grubhub for the first time expecting a pleasant experience. My food was delivered 1.5 hour late. I contacted Grubhub via chat and the first agent abruptly ended the chat. The second agent did not resolve my issue to my expectation. I requested a refund but only offered $10 discount on my next order. No way in hell that I am ordering again from this company. Ordering pizza directly from a pizza restaurant is better. Horrible experience!
On March 5th I ordered from a local pizza restaurant. The order was very late. I texted the driver he said he was waiting for t u e order at the restaurant. Up shot was he delivered the same order twice! We contacted Grubhub and they said because we received 2 orders we had to pay for 2 orders. We argued that we did not order.the exact same thing twice. Eventually they gave us grubhub coupons which does not put money back in my account. I feel cheated and will think long and hard before using them again.
Gps showed driver in the parking lot at the business next door to the restaurant up until 20 minutes after expected delivery time food came 30 minutes late later than expected, food was completion cold. Inedible. And I had to tip ahead of time so driver got a five dollar tip for that.
Driver called with a child translating to driver they were unable to find my house. I offered to meet them at another location. I was put on hold for over 5 minutes while the called "their boss". Call was disconnected and then I received an email my order was cancelled. This was a corporate gift and I will be informing my company to no longer use their service.
I'm going to try them again because I "found out" on my own, they deliver from one of the best private owned pizza houses in the area. They didn't tell me, for weeks I poured over Dominos and Subway and other " food/cardboard" franchises. Let's see what happens. This Company Is Hated Amongst New Bedford Business Owners.
I placed my orders hours in advance. Both orders arrived on time but cold. Not even luke warm. The prices are ridiculous too. Way, way way overpriced considering the quality. You'll have a much better experience and be served better portions dining in.
Driver left bag on my steps. No name, order info and opened bag to find steak with cheese and fries. I ordered Kung pao shrimp and hot and sour soup. Called Grub Hub and got refund. The Mexican food was really good and I got a free meal. Hope the person that got my Chinese food liked it.
