Ordered from a restaurant n delivery time kept changing, couldn't pick it up so I cancelled the order and never received my money back. Called multiple times and jus to be told it's under review by a senior specialist, 2 months and have yet to receive my money or any information on the status. They take your money for services they can't deliver and then won't give you your money back. Avoid if need
Ordered breakfast from Bob Evans with coffee. Coffees were in the delivery bag, spilling all over the food and my floor from the door through to the kitchen. They only refunded $4 for the coffee. Poor customer service. We will not be ordering from them again.
I tried using grubhub on my laptop. I ordered 2 times and my credit card got charged, but I didn't get any confirmation email. So I called customer service and they asked me to order from the app. When registering on the website they gave a credit of ten dollars which got used in the 2 orders l did on website and never received. So I also lost the promo money to join the grubhub. I am never going to order from them again
This is my last time trying to use grubhub, although i was refunded my money, i waited an hr for my food just for grubhub to cancel my order without reason, its no wonder why they have a 1 star rating. I'll take my business else where. I also never got the email they say was sent to explain things.
With Grubhub, after 2 hours, with a simple order from KFC not even a mile from where I live, nothing. Order cancelled. I did the same exact order through Doordash, and the food was at my door within 15 minutes. Grubhub can go pound it. Doordash for me for now on. Now I see why there are nothing but 1 star reviews here. Grubhub sucks. Go elsewhere.

I ordered Grubhub 1 time on 12/12/2022. They have been taking $10.86 for 9 months out of my Venmo account. I didn't authorized this. I called their customer service to make a complaint and have this stop immediately. I asked for a refund they said they would only refund me for one month subscription to their program. I never signed up for a program or any subscription on their website. I ordered food once and that was it. I am now in the process of contacting Better Business Bureau and a lawyer. The customer service woman told me I could not talk to anyone else it was just her and that she would not refund me for the last 9 months subscription. And once again this is why I don't shop online and don't use these applications. They are thieves. What has this world come to. Full of scams and thieves. And they can get away with it. Who's going to put a stop to all the nonsense and people being taken advantage of us.

Honestly go to hell Grubhub. I hope all of your employees suffer horribly. Your business model is absolute garbage. You've ripped me off, forgotten certain drinks, and just been unprofessional. I don't even care if your employees get into an auto accident. It's your fault you designed this terrible system
I suggest you pick a different provider. The quality control and standards for this company are horrendous. It's extremely rare that they get an order right or deliver on time (like 1 out of 10). They frequently miss items, deliver late, leave out condiments or utensils, or just never show up at all. I think it will be the first of the many food delivery companies to go out of business.
I made the mistake of using Grub Hub again. Every time I do, the delivery time changes several times. After the third time change I called customer service. She apologized and said if the food arrives cold the total order would be refunded. The order was 90 minutes late, of course it was cold. The soup was spilled and it looked like my meal had been picked through. When I called to collect my refund, I was told they could not refund. They offered a $10 credit on my next order. Holy crap! Really? $10 of of an over priced, cold, late meal? I am good. Grub Hub is horrible and their customer service is even worse.
I've only ordered through GrubHub a handful of times and it seems like every time my order has never come. I've had to get managers involved on those occasions from the restaurant as there is no way to contact GrubHub via phone number. Or if there is, I've never been able to find the phone number. Needless to say I'm disappointed and I'm hungry.
Ok if I don't get the napkins and plastic wear ok but the butter and dipping sauces NEED to be included in the order. I've ordered them from their web site but have never gotten any of them. If it's the driver that should check to see if order is correct/complete then it's the driver that has failed every single time I've used GH. I'll be deleting my account later today. When I've tried to get help regarding these issues I'm told " it won't happen again" but it is S T I L L happening this late in the contract. Months later still not receiving complete ordered and not getting any help from their customer service people
Grubhub sucks. Their app is not interactive. It took an hour to get a delivery that I would normally pick up from the same restaurant in less than 15 minutes. Also, they do not give you all of the menu options, so I was forced to pay for a dinner priced meal instead of the lunch specials this restaurant offers. On top of that, I ordered from a mexican restaurant and I did not get the chips and salsa that always comes with my to go orders I pick up myself. I called and verified with the restaurant, and because it was a Grubhub order, they do not provide the chips and salsa without paying extra for them. TOTAL SCAM. So I now paid a tip, delivery fee, service fee and had to pay for dinner pricing (portions are the same for lunch and dinner offerings) and ended up with less food. Ridiculous. Not sure how Grubhub is still in business. I only delivered because my car is being serviced and I was without a car at this time.
Run away from Grubhub. These idiots should be shut down and put out of business. They deliver late on 90% of all my orders. Food is nasty and cold. Delivery drivers can't follow simple directions. I don't care if this membership is part of my Walmart Plus free promotion. It's not worth the aggravation.
My advice...try alternate delivery apps like Doordash or pick up your own food at the restaurant. Trust me, you will thank me later.
I've ordered food from Eat24 before, but lately, the service has gotten ridiculous. Restaurants are making more mistakes, and when you try to get help to fix this you don't hear from anyone for 3 hours for an email. 3 hours! No one will call you, just email you.
It's safe to say that by then the restaurant was closed, and I was stuck with food I didn't want. I got an email from customer service (at almost midnight) offering to call the restaurant in the morning... No thanks, Eat24. Keep your food.
We have had bad luck with delivery times and then subsequent charges from hackers because Grub Hub either does not secure their site, or some of their drivers are not honest. On one occasion, they promised a certain dollar amount of refund, then refunded less than what they indicated. Will not use them again.
They left out the main dish on my order. The delivery driver asked about it at pick up and grub hub told him to deliver it and have me call after delivery! Refunded only missing item. I had to go out myself for the food.
They have you make food then once delivered they cancel order.
GrubHub Is a scam
Every week at least 10 cancelled orders after delivery of goods which the restaurant loses it profit.
Not to include deposits take a week for each day even with direct deposit.

Ridiculously unreliable and overpriced. Often will just wait an hour or more and spontaneous cancel orders - will keep the money for several days, just not deliver any food. Can rack up delivery fees of seven or eight dollars with no driver gratuity. Customer service is a joke - it's a crappy call center that doesn't have native English speakers. Makes DoorDash seem like Herman Miller in terms of customer service. Total garbage.
After confirming, a week in advance, that they could deliver a special Christmas eve dinner for our elderly parents (89 and 95), Grubhub canceled our order without providing any explanation. Their notification arrived less than four hours before the meal was supposed to be delivered. Inexcusable!
I waited 2 hours for my food, it was already 45 minutes late when they cancelled my order because someone else picked it up by mistake. Not the customers problem, they should have resolved this issue with the store. Instead, I had to call and complain to a manager just to get a refund. I'll never use Grubhub again; I've never experienced such horrible customer service. Doordash will be getting my services from now on.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
