I ordered Grubhub stone cold creamery. The driver got 2 orders and then delivered my order to the other house. Instead of making it right they just send me an email saying my order was canceled. This is the 5th time they have done this. I give them a negative 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. Don't trust them. Don't use them.
Was told they would submit for another order. They lied. Supposedly I'm getting a refund now but I've spent hours waiting for this food and contacting customer service for nothing.
I ordered food. After an hour and 3 delays I chat with customer service. Kevin S. Said he was keeping my order since I was upset that I would not be getting fresh hot food. Then they didn't refund me. I chatted with them again and they said they don't see where my order was cancelled and refuse to refund me. I have the screen shots to prove they said they were keeping my order. Seriously this company needs to hang it up. Zero stars. I am now disputing the $40 charge on PayPal.
Customer service is terrible. First call for assistance told to clear browser and cookies and that there was no issue,, sale should go thru. Did that and order still wouldn't go through. Called restaurant directly. No issues on their end. Just wanted to use a gift card I received but order has to be placed thru grubhub to use. Called customer service again after installing app and it not working. They were no help, contradicted what I was told in first call. Supervisor was no help either. And of course they won't help place the order. Their suggestion was to order from a different restaurant to see if it would work. An hour and 20 minutes later my husband suggested a different restaurant. Not what I wanted for dinner, but it used up the gift card. The actual driver was nice, however. I hope I never get another grubhub gift card because I will never order thru grubhub again. I would give them 0 stars if that were an option.
We ordered over $100 worth of food, we did the no contact delivery where they're supposed to text you after leaving your food (they never did), they never rang the doorbell, and they left us with someone else's delivery order from a totally different restaurant! Just keep in mind that once you pay, if something goes wrong, you won't get your refund right away, you'll get it in 3 to 5 business days depending on your bank. Luckily, I was prepared for that and we were able to reorder our food and just go pick it up ourselves. But what really pisses me off is they said my refund would include what I paid for tip, Idk how that is because before I tipped, my total was $104 and some change but it has you pick what you want to tip after it shows you that total and they said my refund would be $105. I picked 20% tip so do the math- 20% of $104 does not equal $105. That crappy driver definitely got away with a $20 tip and no consequences probably. Never using Grubhub again.
I placed an order with them an hour ago. The app shows that they are picking up my order. These people called me after over an hour to say that they cannot get in touch with the restaurant. This is the most unprofessional $#*! I have ever seen. If you cannot get in touch with a restaurant just let me know right away! Not a hour later!
My family's order wad cancelled after waiting over 1 hour without an explanation. Avoid at all cost!
The site will say 25-35 minute delivery time but you will never get your order faster than 1 hour. They will lie and tell you a driver is on the way when they haven't even assigned one!
I put in an order over at KFC for pick up and then they said they don't accept GrubHub orders at all and when I called Grubhub they gave me either 3 to 5 business day bull$#*! and honestly would not refund my money in the same Zack day when I got completely screwed over because they put on a place that does not have an honor their service and it's still on there as well but as of right now for KFC for pick up where they do not honor it from Grubhub at all
Like any company an employee makes mistakes. I had a delivery left outside my business in a pile of snow. I called them and the operator gave me a full refund and was very kind. Thanks! I own a company and treat customers the same. This kind of stuff happens so keep your cool and be polite. Many are too quick to go nuts over nothing.
I ordered from The Wok last night n did not even receive my order. I got a text from the driver saying she dropped it off. I said where is it? She replied it's on the porch. I looked and it was not there. I texted her back several times n even called her... no response. I called GrubHub n they finally toldr the order was not picked up fr the restaurant. I was told I'd be given a refund in 3 to 5 business days. Today I got a summary of order and it was dropped off at the wrong address. I will never use them again and would not recommend to anyone. I don't enjoy paying for food I don't receive and a rude delivery driver that will not even answer me. Horrible service
This review is really about Grub Hub at *******303 and their communication skills. I ordered a pick up at Sub-Ology through Grub Hub. BIG MISTAKE. The person on the other end was having a problem understanding me as English was apparently not her first language. After a torturous 15 minutes of my repeating my order and her reading it back to me (twice). She called Sub-Ology and gave them the wrong order for the 4 items I ordered. I ordered 2 Chicken Caesar Salads; 1 Caesar Wrap and 1 Ham and Mozzarella sub. What I got was 2 Caesar salads with NO chicken; A Greek Salad wrap and Ham and American Cheese. So all 4 orders were wrong on Grub Hub's end. When I called and asked for a partial credit, they told me I had to get it from Sub-Ology. After several calls back and forth, I gave up and am writing this review instead. BTW - Sub-Ology made it right by giving me a partial credit, Grub Hub did NOTHING, although they were responsible.
The driver Juan was the most incompetent rude person. He delivered to the wrong address, I called him a min after he dropped it at the wrong address he told me to fix the GPS and call Grub hub and hung up. I called customer service and they made a 25 discount so great but failed to tell me there was a minimum amount. Worst customer service all the way around
Loving the concept of the hub wanting to deliver people's food but Huh! WHY put it on the ground?
I added $35 bucks to my chopt account and it went to Levelup and wouldn't add to the account and when I contacted level up which I think is Grubhub now and TERRIBLE customer service. Kept saying go ahead charge to your card and it will apply the credit. It never did. I waited 2 hours to order my 2 salads due to terrible customer service. Someone should contact me from this company and offer a credit for wasting my time.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered a couple meals thru Grubhub and the delivery time kept getting pushed out. Called the restaurant (which I won't name because it wasn't their failure) and they said that my order had been sitting for over an hour waiting for pickup. After contacting customer service to cancel they wanted to send me a ten dollar perk towards my next purchase if I continue to wait. I don't know what part of sitting and waiting he didn't understand. I wanted a fresh meal. Told him to keep his perk and cancel my order because it has sat too long. He then said I will receive a perk in my email, nah, I won't be using that because I expect food that is close to fresh, not under a warmer for over an hour. Lesson learned..
I ordered through Grubhub, they took my order, credit card number and all the information for my card. After I drove to get my food, there's a sign stating that they are closed on 2/6/22. Apparently, Grubhub didn't know or they just wanted my credit card information. I called Grubhub and was on hold for quite a while, and was finally told that it would take 3 to 5 days for a refund. I will never use Grubhub again!
Just reviewing my receipt for food that was $46.80. I included the 15% driver's tip only to realize Grubhub adds that on the total that includes their service and delivery fee. My total bill was $63.18. I should have paid closer attention. The amount doesn't break the bank for me, but I think about others in a tighter budget and how many of us are pinched a couple dollars here and there. And does the driver really get the $8.24 I added as his gratuity? I just don't think it's good practice for them to do this.
