Food arrive cold. You break somebodies head with the pizza. If you can't deliver the food while still warm just get out of the business
They delivered the food to the wrong house and wouldn't offer to redeliver. They offered me $5... doesn't fix the fact that I'm still hungry
3 Times i tried ordering and all 3 times have been canceled... without explanation... there will not be a fourth... not good service at all..
On June 12th, 2015 I decided to give them a go. Created an account. Logged in and ordered my favorite food, Chinese. I was away on business, so I didn't know anything about the local restaurants. I chose a restaurant "near by" and asked for delivery. So far... so good. About an hour after my order was placed I get a call from the delivery man asking me to confirm the address because he didn't find my hotel with the address I provided. I confirmed and reconfirmed the address several times and finally we both realized that the restaurant was in a different city than the one listed under hubGrub. So far not a great impression, but things happen and I let it slide. The delivery man said they don't deliver that far. I called the owner and she said she would refund me the money and then I tried again with a different restaurant through hubGrub. I also submitted a ticket to have my card refunded for the food I never got and they said they would take care of it. Fast forward to today... I am going to pay my card and noticed no credit was given. I contact hubGrub again and they told me the restaurant didn't authorize a refund. What? So I use your services, never get the food and then have to pay for it? If I was that restaurant's owner I wouldn't authorize a refund either. They prepared the food and had a guy driving around for 30 minutes looking for me to deliver the food before we all realized they were far away from me and don't deliver there. However, why should I pay for the food. The agent apologized, issue the credit and said they would give me a compensation next time I use their services. When I got the eMail it was my last straw... apparently these people think that 4 hours of my life is only worth $5.00 bucks. Ridiculous... I don't think I'll be using them again. On the 12th I was angry and hungry and had to wait 3 hours for my food. Today I wasted another hour trying to sort this out when clearly they dropped the ball. Use at your discretion, but for me I rather go pick up the food myself... less aggravation and insult. NO HUBGRUB FOR ME.
I always choose Grubhub over Doordash Because they seem to usually have the order correct. Actually, my only complaint (and this only applies to tonight's order) is that my order was dropped off with ZERO notification. Not a text, not a doorbell ring, not an email, NOTHING. Eventually I just decided to check the front porch and it was there. What TF man?! It was there. Everything that I ordered, exactly as I had ordered. Good job GrubHub but…I had NO IDEA it was on the freaking porch man! Why? Why? There's an option to NOT ring the doorbell…hmm, we'll that wasn't selected sooo? And this was the FIRST time that I received a delivery that I wasn't notified about. I would be really effing disappointed to learn that Grubhub was instructing its employees to NOT ring the doorbell or knock on the effing door. Please don't tell me that was the problem. Because that is just ridiculous. So perhaps either instruct your drivers to NOTIFY THE RECIPIENT OF THE ORDER DELIVERY (I know, crazy right?) ORRRRR present an option for the recipient to choose what their delivery option should be. Not rocket science.
So let me tell you about this service. It is the WORST service known to man. They are rude, they are liars they are money stealing and they do not help you at all.
I have had issues with grubhub for a very long time. I stopped using their products for about 4 years. I recently went back on it because of Covid19. Within 3 months I was reminded on why I left them.
I placed a order August 25th 2020. The order was 2 hours late and it cost me over 60 bucks. I called grubhub and they said they cant reach the place so I should call and they would give me a 20% discount on my next order.
I right away had a gut feeling I should have NEVER used their service. About 3 hours after I made my order they finally came.
Dumb me tried to order again from Grubhub because I had a 20% discount. My order kept getting refunded and would never go thru. I called the customer service and they had no idea what is going on. 3 days later I get a email that they said maybe it was not me but some how my bank on my debit card reported fraud to the last transaction ( btw there was no transaction it kept not going thru... the order before that is on my bank statement. It went thru so I am not sure what they are talking about) they said they are blocking me from all their services
This email reminded me of another email they sent me over 4 years ago claiming I claimed fraud on my account which I never did. Come to find out they did this to a few other people I have seen on sites ect... I have ENOUGH money to feed me and my building if I felt like it... I do not claim fraud on anything, nor have I ever done that.
Grubhub sent me a discount than conviently claimed fraud so I lose the discount and they blocked me from all their services
Well thank you GrubHub I will NEVER use your service and thank god I work in the movie industry because I will make sure the studios I work for ( which are pretty big studios) do NOT use your service when we need to order food...

Been waiting for 40 minutes and the food should be here in 20 minutes and the just cancelled our order stating they couldn't fulfill our order.
This is expensive and a worthless service. They came to my house with cold food 2.5 HOURS AFTER I ordered.

This is the second time now I have given grub hub a chance again after always taking FOREVER to deliver the food and my food being cold. The first time this happened my food had be ready and waiting for 1 hour before they ever even picked up my food, so by the time I got the food it had already been 1.5 hours after my food was ready and the driver accepted my order to pick it up right after I ordered it. I sat here watching him sitting for 1.5 hours not moving in his car once. Tonight I accidently ordered with Grub hub bc I mixed up them with door dash, but anyways I ordered Mexican literally 8 blocks from my house, but have sick kids here, so I didn't wanna go out with them, but anyways it originally said it would be here between 750-8pm then it changed to 810-820pm and guess $#*!ing what... its after 820pm and its still not here! Also, I saw this lady sitting there not moving for ever either. This is ridiculous, I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND I AGAIN WILL BE CALLING AND COMPLAINING!
I use Paypal to order food online. I couldn't otherwise use Paypal to order from these places so that's pretty cool for me.

Grubhub has absolutely horrible vendors. Especially, if you are ordering it from WhichWich in Addison, don't. They will routinely cancel the order.
