NEVER USE! I would do a 0 rating if I had the choice! They have the WORST customer service I have. EVER encountered! The "manager" said he didn't know what was going on. They had no clue.

My bf and I tried to use grubhub for the first time last night. The driver Jerry was rude from the start. He was on the wrong road, he was on Rd and not Dr. My bf gave him exact directions to get here. My bf was waiting with the door open, Jerry calls back and said he still can't find us and once again my bf told him directions, he was literally 3 min away. Jerry hung up on him both times. My bf checks the computer while waiting and noticed it said delivered. My bf calls Jerry, said he noticed it said delivered but we hadn't got our food. Jerry said he went to an apartment and gave it to someone claiming it was theirs. So not only did Jerry not use his GPS to find us or listen to my bf give him exact directions, he wasn't even on the right road and just gave our food to the wrong people. I immediately called customer service and the first girl tried saying we wouldn't get a refund. I then demanded a supervisor. He gets on the phone, tried defending the driver at first and I said, excuse me?! He's a lousy driver and wasn't even on the right road and made sure it was in fact the right person! They should ask for proof first. We got our refund after arguing and an hour later had to drive to get food and we're starving at this point. Will never use this service again.

Grubhub is a? Scam. I received a grubhub gift card from my colleagues when I was out from having surgery. I have been trying to use my gift card for sometime now, but it keeps asking for either my credit card or debit card
Which I am most certainly not going to give them. All I want to do is use the funds that was paid to them by my colleagues and be done with them. I give their customer service a call and was informed the no o e can redeem their paid gift card without first providing Grubhub with their credit or debit card information. I told that twit on a girl and that asinine of a supervisor it would be a cold day in Hell before I would provide their dishonest company with my financial I formation to redeem a grift card that was already paid for. Than I asked for a refund, which they refused. So I requested that my case be escalated above the idiotic supervisor and I plan to speak with an attorney as I know this cannot be legal: you purchase a grift card, but cannot redeem it unless you provide the company with your financial information to either you credit or debit card. Is that crazy or what! What I big scam! I loan to ensure the red d me the money from myy gift card or allow me to redeem it without demanding my financial I formation. Don't ever use the Grubhub company they are nothing but crooks!

Tonight was my first time using Grubhub and I regret it. I placed my order at 948pm tonight. The eta was around 1010-1020, initially. Then, it got pushed back to 1110-1130. An hour and a half for my food? Seriously? I called the restaurant, they said my food has been ready for 20 minutes. The employee also stated that another order was placed after mine and a Grubhub driver picked up that order. I know why no one picked up my order - I didn't leave a tip on my order - however, I've been a server for 10+ years and I was going to give the driver cash and not get taxed on my credit card tip. I called Grubhub customer support and they were only going to give me a 10% discount on my next order. MY NEXT ORDER? They wouldn't even refund me my money that I just spent on a meal that would be cold and old, until I asked for a manager. The manager cancelled my order, refunded my money (which takes 5-10 business days), and gave me a $10 coupon towards my next order. Let's just say, I won't be ordering from them again. If you are that obsessed with credit card tips, you don't need to be a food deliverer. My total was $18 and I was going to tip $6 cash. So, I'll take my business elsewhere.
Don't use Grubhub. Just call the restaurant directly to place your order. I placed an order with GrubHub 2.5 hours ago for delivery. I searched specifically for delivery and found this restaurant. Estimated wait time was 1 hour. At the 1.5 hour mark, a message was sent to my phone stating that the driver was on his way with the food. At the 2 hour mark the food still hadn't arrived. At that time we called the restaurant who told us that they don't deliver, and that Grubhub was supposed to arrange for the delivery but that the driver never came. The food had just been sitting there for 2 hours. It was at that time that I also received an email from Grubhub telling me that my order had been cancelled. They cancelled my order 2 after 2 hours of waiting. We online chatted Grubhub to get an explanation, and they provided no explanation, only repeated over and over again, "Unfortunately at this point the driver was not able to pick up the order and the order was canceled." I called Grubhub and they confirmed that they were supposed to arrange for the delivery but again they were unable to explain why the delivery never happened. This is also the second time this has happened to us. Now I have a gift of $15 Grubhub dollars to use for my next order which will never happen because I would never order from a place that can't actually deliver food.
I was waiting for my order for 2 hours for my delivery and I finally called, they informed me that the restaurant was closed and they canceled my order. I will never use this service again.
Ordered on a very snowy night and wanted food from the usal restaurants that deliver and not Chinese food. ORdered from RUB. It was delicious and the service was good and very nice.
They got my order wrong was ice cold when it got to me I would never use this app again and for the money I spent I should be able to enjoy my food but nothing good about this food app...
Food delivery is soooo slow and the options are below par, very disappointed the food delivery is always late and the food is disappointing!

GrubHub apps do not give dependable Restaurant information- grubHub keeps saying that particular restaurants are closed when in fact they are not- I guess the drivers just don't wanna go there.
My experience using Grubhub last night was the last straw. After multiple attempts to communicate, I received an email this morning saying I received a credit of $1.49 on an order that totaled $70.97... are you joking?
A credit of $1.49 does not even come close to remedying the inconvenience that I had to deal with last night. I had an entire family waiting for food and did not receive a single notification of my food not being delivered. Not only was it completely unprofessional and the worst customer service I have ever experienced, but I wasn't able to feed my family until 10pm because I had to go pick up the food myself from the restaurant, which ended up being completely cold.
The restaurant also mentioned that although my order was the first to come in, multiple orders via Grubhub placed after mine were picked up before my order. That is completely absurd and unacceptable. It wasn't until I had to contact customer service did they reply with such a condescending response and tone but they also said they would call me in 10 minutes from our call if a driver was not going to pick up our order but the representative never called me back. I had to make ANOTHER call only to be replied by another rude customer service representative. I really do not understand how customer service can be so bad. I have never experience anything like that before.
This entire ordeal has been nightmarish and I can ensure you that I will be very vocal about my experience to all of my friends and family. If you're using Grubhub, you need to pivot to another food delivery service because Grubhub is the absolute WORST.
I have used GrubHub for a couple of years... at least twice a month. In fact, it was my delivery preference and I would not select restaurants that used DoorDash as their delivery source. Until tonight. I placed an order at approximately
5:20 PM and the delivery time was said to be 45 to 55 minutes. At 6:30, I checked the status of my order and learned that the new ETA was between 6:24 and 6:33. A couple of minutes later I checked again and learned that it had been delivered by Douglas at 6:24. I called the restaurant, LaScala in Santa Monica, and was told that once the food leaves the restaurant they are not responsible. After raising my voice and asking for a supervisor, I was called back by someone who said she would contact GrubHub and call me back. Of course, she didn't. I called my nextdoor
Neighbor to confirm that the order had not been mis-delivered... it hadn't. So, I texted the "Help" line. Oscar couldn't have been nicer... but, unfortunately, they are not responsible for a delivery that does not arrive to the person who placed the order. Out of the goodness of his heart, he offered me a 50% discount on my next order. No thanks!
I like to order using this app whenever I can't decide what to eat. Every time the drivers call to let me know my food is here, they are very rude!
The first time I ever used this app, I wasn't aware that you had to add the tip to your total order or tip with cash. Well I don't always have cash on me so I was waiting to sign the receipt so that I could add tip. No receipt to sign... I kindly told the gentleman the situation and that I was unaware of the way the tipping system went with yelp eat24. He rolled his eyes and proceeds to walk away. Then about 5-10 minutes later, the driver calls to pretty much harass me about the tip. He called about 7 times and banged on my door insisting that I needed to tip him or he wouldn't leave! Thankfully my fiancé came home and tipped him with cash and gave him a little talk on how to be a little more polite about the situation.
After that, I decided to give them another shot, a few more chances actually. Each time, the driver is rude, in a rush, and not very personable. They just don't have any customer service. I probably will NEVER order from this app again
My experience was terrible. I never really order from them but I did because the carona virus. So I place my order and I wait. About 30 min later I check the tracker on grub hub and it says that they didn't even pick it up yet. I get a text saying the delivery time would be pushed back about 20 min so I can the restaurant. They informed me they were on the line with grub hub customer service cause no one ever came for my food (that didn't take long to make at all). They tell me they never sent a driver and the restaurant was closing. They offered to hand deliver my food for me so they could also go home since they were closing in 15 min and grub hub wasn't even coming. So I agree and pay again by phone to them and then call grub hub to complain and cancel my order. I tell them they never sent a driver for an hour at that point to get the food and that the restaurant was closing. They didn't even believe me, put me on hold to call for themselves, and then apologized. Told me it would prob take a few days for me refund. My order was 32 dollars, I had to repay my already made food of 20. And on top of that when I found out my order for the exact same food was 23 before any taxes delivery fees or driver tip for grub hub, the restaurant only charged me 19 and change. I was over paying them for the exact same food. And I got terrible service. When I told them I was very disappointed that it would take the money that long they offered my 5 dollars for my next grub hub order. 5 dollars... for the next time. Never again. Grub hub sucks.
3 hours later and no food, no apology, no call back. We call and hubgrubb and get hung up on. We call back and they cannot figure it out. OMG and we got charged for it. Never again.
