The delivery people don't follow instructions and leave orders where anyone can grab it refuses to take elevator to bring to the door. The food is constantly wrong. The refunds take an eternity. I got bc I have Prime. Not worth it! Deleting this app ASAP
Limited delivery times. Restaurants pop up that will accept your order but they are either closed or in another state. No guidelines at customer service, sometimes you have to argue for a refund, and other times they will refund with an additional credit, all for the same reason. Drivers don't read English many times and do not leave food in the correct place. I have a year of free Grubhub+ but I still pay for Uber One.
On March 5th I ordered from a local pizza restaurant. The order was very late. I texted the driver he said he was waiting for t u e order at the restaurant. Up shot was he delivered the same order twice! We contacted Grubhub and they said because we received 2 orders we had to pay for 2 orders. We argued that we did not order.the exact same thing twice. Eventually they gave us grubhub coupons which does not put money back in my account. I feel cheated and will think long and hard before using them again.
I've now ordered five times through Grubhub and only had one order delivered...2 hours late! I cannot believe how bad this company sucks at what they are supposed to do!
Worst company ever. Ordered our anniversary dinner and received cold because driver was sent an hour away with our food. They gave me a a $50 credit split into 2 separate orders instead of a refund. Awful company
No matter where I order from, it is wrong 9/10 times. I am always shocked when I actually get the correct items prepared correctly. Several times the driver has dropped off food without notifying me or knocking on door and it sat on my porch for until it got cold. I feel like I'm being scammed every time I order. I ordered KFC one time and they delivered only the sides because I'm pretty sure the driver ate my chicken! Ridiculous!
We placed our first and last order with Grub Hub. Ordered a dozen doughnuts for National Donut Day at work. The order came with 9 in it and 4 of them were not what we ordered. Turns out, one of them was complimentary because it is donut day. So, technically we got 8 that we paid for. We never were told they were out of some or they were just putting in what they wanted at the Donut Man. When I called to ask about how Grub Hub works and why no one called or what and I was told they would give a credit on 1 donut. At this point it is not about one donut credit. It is about ordering a dozen, getting 9 and 4 of the wrong kind. They would not do anything to make it right except the credit for a donut and a 7$ credit towards our next purchase with them. Well, there will not be a next purchase with them, as there way of doing business is crooked. So, needless to say, nothing was corrected. Do not order from them unless you are ok with them not correcting anything unless there is a problem. Ended up paying 39$ for 9 donuts plus the 10$ tip the driver was given. Grub Hub, you suck!
GrubHub used expired credit card to reorder previous purchase when I was looking at menu. I have deleted all info from their site and started fraud investigation. Do not trust them

I ordered a supreme pizza on Portofino's website. It shows the pizza at $13.99. GrubHub charged me $23.99. I gave the driver a $10.00 tip which is a 32% tip, ASSuming he would take extra care of my order, plus taxes and delivery fees. The order came to $42. It arrived at my house late and instead of handing the pizza to me, it was sitting on the ground on my front porch cold. I called the restaurant immediately and they told me the driver told them he had a an insulated bag in the car. If I was a restaurant, I would say that was totally unacceptable. I then wrote GrubHub about this whole incident. They offered me a five dollar discount off my next purchase. I deleted the app immediately, a five dollar discount was a slap in the face, that was the first and last time I will use, Grubhub. There was totally no satisfaction.
I would put zero stars if I could, I ordered food twice from this website and both times they were not delivered. First time they didn't even send a picture when they dropped off the food, the second time it was delivered to the wrong address, 1 mile away from my location. I will no longer be using their services.
Only used grub hub 3 times but all 3 times the orders were incomplete,driver forgot drinks next they forgot a sandwich then once delivered a completely different order! Cmon are you guys that lame do your drivers smoke too much weed WTF? We work in a shop we order for lunch WE PAY THE PREMIUM PRICES,can't you just get the order right
So, I use delivery services once a week, maybe once every other week. I've used Doordash many times, and Uber Eats. Grubhub is far and away the worst service out of all the choices.
On TWO separate occasions, probably 3 months apart, they delayed my order delivery an hour and a half or more. That would be bad enough, but the order gets sent directly to the restaurant first, so even if the driver picks it up and completes the order, the food will be very cold and stale.
This is beyond unacceptable for a delivery business. It is unforgiveable. I will never again use GH for anything, I'm done with them.
I order tacos for my boyfriend and I from taco bell took delivery person 1 hour get to my home come cold. I ask for full refund. I never got my $33. Back. I am still mad about it.
Last 10 times I have ordered food they delayed the order at least three times and then ended up canceling my order. This last time really pissed me off. The order was supposed to arrive at x time and an hour later the order was still showing arriving soon. The ETA still show the time an hour earlier. I contacted customer service and the lady made me give her our address, phone number, and zip code, made me wait 10 mins only to cancel our order at the end. I'm so frustrated because there is no decent food delivery app. I might give it another shot but I hate this app.
They have been charging my credit card for membership I thought was cancelled for over a year now! I caught it on my credit card for membership fee over a year after cancelling so now I have deleted my payment info and address on their website that I haven't used for a year now but still getting charged! Would NOT recommend or pay attention to your charges!
My first and last order from Grubhub. Have friends in town and thought we would order sushi. Never used Grubhub before so thought I would give them a try. Ordering is pretty smooth and noticed they have Driver benefit fee that is automatically added. When delivered only received 1/2 of the order (two peoples entire meal). I reached out to customer service and they said they contacted the driver and he was on his way to deliver the missing order and should arrive in less than 10 minutes. Great! 20 minutes later still no food. Contacted customer service again, they try to contact the driver but he is not answering. The second customer service agent said they can only refund the cost of the missing items. They can not refund the tax on the missing items or service fee, which I requested because they did not provide 100% service/delivery or even the generous tip we provided thinking we would get excellent service. Grubhub ruined what was supposed to a fun dinner with out of town friends! Recommendation to Grubhub, you should refund taxes and other fees for food that is not delivered and tips should be approved by the customer signs off after delivery.
I used Grubhub, consistently, for some months. In a nutshell, the orders were always late and, usually, I had to end up reheating food once delivered.
Problem: Drivers pick-up too many orders and results in constant delays. I've, actually, ordered food that was 1 to 2 miles from my residence. Then, watched - via the location app - see the driver go to 1 or 2 other, wait for minutes for another order. Finally, rather than deliver my order, as my place is closer, they go another 4 to 5 miles away to deliver that order, then drive all the way back to my place. Again, the order late and food near cold.
Needless to say - I've deleted my subscription and will not be using this company ever.
The only positive aspect of the company is it, really, has a very good customer service.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
