The worst possible food delivery service. I put in my order at 4:40 PM and then just kept receiving texts saying that it'll come at 6:35 PM. That is two whole hours? I will be paying for old and cold food so I called the restaurant to confirm and the restaurant has my order. I then called into Grubhub to complain about my situation and all they did was cancel my order aka I waited for over an hour for no reason. However, they did give me a 25% discount off my next order and being the stupid person that I am, I decided to give them a second chance. Guess what? The same exact situation happened.

**** HORRIBLE! I ordered my food an hour ago or so, and the restaurant made my meal fairly quickly. HOWEVER, the DRIVER has STILL NOT SHOWN UP to pick up my food. As a result, the owner is having to take me my food, so I can AVOID a 1.5 HOUR WAIT. Now it will be 1 hour and 10 minutes. I will NEVER use this service again. UNRELIABLE! I live in Kirkland, WA. And was trying to order Thai Food. ****

Terrible experience all around, I won't be using them again. They cancelled my first order without explanation and the second order was almost 90 min late. I messaged them asking for status and they sent me a message in error of the driver talking badly about the restaurant. The driver then made me come down and wait outside to get my order and didn't even get out of the car, just rolled down the window. What a bizarre experience!

Placed order half hour later they send text order canceled. No explanation in email but they will be keeping money for 5 to 10 days. What a joke. Doordash from now on.

While GrubHub has successfully delivered orders in a timely manner, and complete in the past, sometimes it only takes one experience and interaction to completely sour The taste for using a corporation and their services.

I utilize GrubHub to order food, as I am a paraplegic staying in a hotel, undergoing treatment at a local hospital, and am unable to get out myself.

I ordered food from IHOP, and was looking forward to breakfast, a specialty coffee, and a soda, which I was saving for later.

The order arrived promptly, and the driver was kind, but the drinks were missing. I discovered this after the driver had already left. I got on the app, and after waiting about 5 minutes to be connected to an agent, explained the situation.

GrubHub told me that they would issue me a refund, for the drinks that I ordered, but I explained to them that I wanted the drinks, and not the refund, as I could not get out to pick anymore up, and just ordering the drinks alone, fell below the minimum amount required for GrubHub, and other food delivery vendors.

GrubHub also told me that it would take several days for that refund to appear in my account, and that even though the restaurant was only a half a mile away, and they had the number for the driver, they would not get the items that I ordered. Also, the time and inconvenience that I'm having to go through in order to take care of this, is not being apply to the compensation that I am receiving in the form of a refund. A refund, again, then I'm going to have to wait several days for.

While a soda and a coffee may seem like a minor issue, the way that their customer service handled the problem, or should I say did not handle the problem, lends me to believe that had the issue been an even bigger one, that I would not want to have to deal with GrubHub in this regards. I am frustrated, and feel like the compensation was inadequate, and their inability to reach out to their driver and actually get the products that I ordered, shows that their system is not set up to handle items that have not been delivered properly.

I am writing them to stars because of this issue, the way they handled it, and the fact that people want what they ordered, not a refund. If they cannot reach out to their drivers, and get the food and items that you ordered, then they are not a service. A company like GrubHub should be able to fill in order, or send the driver back to pick up the remainder of an order. If they cannot do this simple thing, then there is something truly broken in their system.

Be aware that if you order from GrubHub, and are missing items, they may not be able to get out and get them for you, and if they issue a refund you will have to wait several days for it.

I would recommend trying other food delivery companies, as well this may seem like a small inconvenience, it can turn into a large headache very quickly.

I'm at the Luxor in Las Vegas. I order Thai. My delivery driver asks me to meet them at the front desk. (Uh ok, I already tipped) so I go down 21 floors. Across the property through the casino to gather my delivery food. F them.

NEVER GOT MY FOOD

I ORDERED ON GRUB-HUB AND NEVER RECEIVED MY ORDER I WAITED OVER TWO HOURS FOR MY FOOD. I DID THE CHAT ON GRUB-HUB THEY ASSURED ME I WOULD GET MY ORDER, THEY WERE LOCATING A DRIVER. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAD THE WORST REPRESENTATIVE, VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE NEEDED A LOT OF COACHING I ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR SHE KEPT ME ON THE PHONE AND NEVER CAME BACK. I WILL NEVER EVER DO SERVICE WITH GRUB-HUB AN I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM EITHER.

Dissatisfied customer

First time ordering from this service while at work. The food did not arrive and I gave the Joshua my phone number and card info. So I waited outside in the cold after I tracked his delivery arrival. He never showed up and I waited 10 min. Before and 40 min after his supposedly arrival time. So basically they took the money out of my account without services rendered. So I called Grubhub to put the money back on my card and was told I had to wait 4 to 5 business days. This company is a straight ripoff crooks and Joshua(the delivery guy) need to be reprimanded! Claudio the manager as well need to be reprimanded as well!

Why?

Went to order Starbucks on the site. I added $15 dollars worth of items to my bag and the total price with fees and delivery totaled over $35! Why in the world would anyone use this instead of just getting in the car and going to a drive through? These prices absolutely ridiculous... Also they keep sending me promo and discount codes that are not being applied at checkout. Waste of time.

Dont drive for them!

Registered and was approved to drive a month ago. Sent me the insulted bags and all, but app wont let me logon. Nobody available by phone for assistance, email only. Supposed to respond within 2 days to emails you delivery support, but a month. Later, not 1 response. They have my personal. Amd banking info but no way of contacting them.

Grubhub is the worst ever order/delivery service I have ever had the misfortune to use. We were having an Office Thanksgiving potluck at work, so I order a turkey from Boston Market through the Grubhub site 2-days before our office party and I received a confirmation receipt the day I ordered the turkey. My ordered was confirmed and verified with Grubhub the day of my order, I even used the instant-reply and feed-back option that pops up in the corner of the site and spoke with a Grubhub Rep for a while about my order and I felt confident about the order. The day of our office potluck, I received another email from Grubhub and since I was busy I just read the subject line from my email inbox, which read: "Your Scheduled Order from Boston Market " thus I assumed it was another confirmation. As I was setting everything up, I was asked where the turkey was? Good question, so I decided to go read the email and when I opened it up I found that it said "Your Scheduled Order from Boston Market has been canceled" Oh No, what? Why? At 9:18 am the day of the scheduled delivery Grubhub send me a cancellation notice via email 2-hours before it should have been delivered. I called up Grubhub and spoke with 2-different representatives and asked them why they didn't contact me sooner about not delivering my order or at least give me enough time to order from someone else. Their only response was to give me a discount on my next order. I informed them that I would NEVER be using Grubhub ever again.

Driver told my wife he would come to our home and make her suck his d*ck.

I will never purchase from grub hub again. My wife ordered a pizza from grub hub, the driver went to the pizza place and was told there would be a wait. The pizza place called and allowed us to order directly through them. The driver called at the same time and my wife called him back. She asked whether we would be charged and he tried to negotiate a new delivery charge for the already cancelled order. She declined his offer and he said that he would come to our home and make her suck his d*ick.

Absolutely disgusting. Now this loser has our address?

I vow to never use grub hub ever again. Three times in a row now they completely got my order incorrect. The solution is to refund me... well that's nice, I guess. But I still wasted an hour waiting for food that o wanted and then had to order other food. Complete waste of time, don't use grub hub. Any alternative is 1000% better, guaranteed.

I have tried to use them 3 times and every order was canceled because the restaurants never agreed to work with Grubhub but they still keep putting the restaurants on their website without their permission. Grubhub is very shady so stay away.

My food arrived late and cold. The driver called me and immediately started yelling at me about how she couldn't find my apartment. I actually had to tell her to stop yelling. She listened and I directed her to my building, which she drove past 3 times. Also, the bag containing my food looked to be untied and opened(?) kind of suspicious considering how rude she was on the phone...
I contacted customer service and all they said was "it won't happen again"
Ridiculous...

Used them once and there were items missing from my order. When I contacted the store they said they couldn't do anything and I needed to talk to grubhub. When I contacted grubhub they said "tough luck" and gave me a 20% off coupon that expires in less than a month. Terrible customer service.
