Ordered from a restaurant n delivery time kept changing, couldn't pick it up so I cancelled the order and never received my money back. Called multiple times and jus to be told it's under review by a senior specialist, 2 months and have yet to receive my money or any information on the status. They take your money for services they can't deliver and then won't give you your money back. Avoid if need
After a bad experience with DoorDash with no positive resolution, tried Seamless by GrubHub and had the best experience. So glad there are positive options to food delivery services.
I ordered from right down the street with very specific delivery instructions. I never received the order, and when I called, the woman was very nice and she reordered with a different delivery driver. STILL delivered to the wrong house! I will not order from anybody only using Grubhub in the future.
I placed the order with GrubHub. As soon as I started the order, I chose the delivery option as soon as I confirmed and put my credit card information it changed to pick up. Contacted GrubHub and was not fully refunded my money but only half of my money. This option of delivery was not my fault at all never order from GrubHub again due to the malfunction and failure of their site.
GrubHub needs to update the menus on all the stores that you can buy from. It makes no sense if you're ordering from Wawa why you can get a plain classic role if you buy it loose but if you want it buttered you can't get it you have to order a wheat roll. Was trying to place an order from multiple stores in my area I even called customer service for help. Even after googling how do I order from multiple locations on GrubHub all it tells me is that I can do it. But when I try to do it it tells me to empty my bag from my other location. Customer service is no help! They barely speak English. They cannot even understand what I am saying I had to just hang up and give up because I had to give my email address about six times and she still didn't get it.
Grubhub customer service is terrible and their guarantee is an absolute joke. I had a driver accept my delivery but didn't go to pick it up until 45 mins later. It obvious from where he was located when he accepted the order and all the other places he went prior. Grubhub should be holding these drivers accountable for orders they accept, they should have to pick up in a specific reasonable timeframe or customer should be refunded. I tried to claim my order for refund considering my sandwich was ice cold, my hot latte was also cold and they refused to help me, even though their driver deliberately claimed an order and then didn't pick it up promptly...keeping other drivers from claiming the order. Order arrived an hour late. Latte appears to have been spilled. Not acceptable.
Canceled my Grubhub + membership and account, no reason to give business to them if they are going to protect their customers.
Placed 2 seperate orders for my Mother in a nursing home in Twin Falls, Idaho and both orders were canceled without a reason. Stuck with a 50 dollar gift card. Never again.
2nd time using the service and it's the second time my food was late, cold and missing items. Customer service is terrible and doesn't offer a proper refund. Can't review drivers and have to tip before receiving your order. Bags are not sealed.
Drivers are rude. Don't speak English and always mess up a simple order. When you contact the driver they say no speak English n hang up. Not using this service again 😒
IF you dont keep your receipts you will be screwed at the end of year; they send 1099 for total sales not your tips and your responsible for the entire sale not what you get paid. They reported my wife whom had a full time job and only did once a day for a few hours on the weekend that she made 16k one year and 15k the other if she averaged $5 tip per trip which never happens that would be over 3400 deliveries. SO now we owe money cause you dont get receipts from the places and no way to figure out what is your income they are a third party that accepts the payments you are the business not mcdonalds and so on
Grubhub driver put our food on the dirty porch twice instead of handing it to me. The second time it was snowing and he sat it on the snowy porch. I reached out asking him to hand it to me but he wouldn't. I told him to take the food back and he cursed me and called me ungrateful. Complained to Grubhub both twice and had our ringbell video as evidence but I got the feeling they didn't care either way. This is the food industry and I found it disgusting. We no longer use food delivery services.
I get the Grub hub charges for delivery fee, but when you add $3 to $6 dollars more on each food item is wrong. What a scam and an insult to the restaurant. Shame on Grubhub they should inform us on each over charge of the food item. The service is good the drivers are great the way they over charge not acceptable. I won't be using their services unless they charge their overcharging for the food they did not prepare.
Orders are always late. DoorDash is superior and that's not saying much. I get Grubhub+ for free with prime and I'm considering PAYING for dash pass again because Grubhub is so terrible.
They will give the driver the option to cancell your order without even taking into consideration what it may cost you and your planned suprise. Hate grubhub and will make sure eveyone I know boycotts them
To start with i paid for a year subscription and after several bad experiences i cancelled the subscription and never got any kind of refund. Another issue is if you order through Grub Hub they up charge everything and then charge a delivery fee plus tip. Since i never received a refund of the subscription i paid for i should still have the service, at least that's what i thought. But no, not only do they keep your money they expect you to pay delivery fees and the up charged prices and a tip. I don't think so there spanky. No way i would ever recommend their services to anyone or use them again. And i will tell anyone and everyone that will listen how their business practices are. Got to hit them where it hurts, their pocketbook. I even had one "delivery' driver say the food was delivered so i called the business about it, my order was still on their counter...i see they hire the best and brightest... grub hub is nothing more than a scam. DO NOT USE EVER!
Stay away from Grubhub... food waiting to get picked up BUT NO DRIVERS? AND THEY REFUSE TO REFUND?
Houston is the largest city in Texas and if Grubhub has no drivers it's because everyone knows they suck!
I ordered from Sonic one Sonic cheeseburger one onion ring, one chicken sandwich and a quarter pounder. Came up to $36 not including the tip.
Placed an order for Fast Food. They pick up and it's out for delivery. Problem is what should have been 10 minutes took 30. They picked up a double order or was double dipping on another app. So they went 10 minutes away from me. Then sat there forever. My order arrives 1/2 hour after they picked it up. Of course they also didn't ring the bell and hand it to me. Nope to difficult.
So my food was stone cold of course. I go thru the website to see about a refund. Then they want me to waste more time chatting. So more punishment for me wasting time with their crummy app.
Then the chat guy wants to give me a credit on my order. No mention of my refund. I ask 3 times. He says I didn;t say that. Then wants me to waste more time talking to a supervisor.
Nope will contact my credit card company for a refund and never use the app again if they want to play games.
Treat your customers right. I already had a bad experience with your driver and you just made it worse. Thanks for nothing.
Overpriced service and garbage customer service!
I was on vacation and ordered takeout, but it wouldn't go, tried again, and it wouldn't go through. I was charged twice and 36 hours later on the phone with customer service. I did receive a coupon for 20% off a meal, however, I will be closing my GrubHub account. Customer service was friendly and professional, however, Grubhub has issues with their ordering system. I did go through insta cart that day for delivery without an issue and will avoid GH in the future.
My order stated it was delivered the driver took a picture in his car. Never got the order when i texed him he was rude and threatening. They are never on time poor customer service. Door dash is much more customer friendly!
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
