The FIRST time I used Grub Hub, I ordered as I usually do on Uber Eats. I got a text message that the Grub Hub driver needed a pin to complete my delivery. My husband was OUT FRONT at the time waiting for the driver. I texted the pop up pin to the driver believing he would then leave the order with my husband. DRIVER NEVER SHOWED UP. Food was never delivered. Money was kept. I informed Grub Hub and they just said they "notated" that the driver texted for the pin. When I complained that I wanted a refund because we receive NO FOOD, they said 48 hours had gone by since the delivery, so no refund. A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS. POOOOOOR SERVICE. THEIVES.
I was offered free delivery from my Amazon Prime account the first order was never discounted the second on never got discounted and was cold and stale because I suppose the driver GPS dont work the driver thought I lived N.E Minneapolis I live downtown in the ALTRIUM APTS Across the street From the Central Library on Hennepin Ave so The third order was not delivered the driver took a picture as customer service says but its not my apt building I dont knw where it was taken Customer service is not good I asked several times where is my order because I live on 3rd Hennepin the Mcdonalds is on 22 and Hennepin they denied me a refund now me and my baby have to go hungry and I got ripped off GRUB HUB IS THE WORST EVER DELIVERY I EVER EXPERIENCED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT HELPFUDI willl be taking my orders elsewhere
A meal that would cost me 7.99 to pick up costs me $20.00 when having Grub Hub to deliver. I should actually thank them because they have forced me to stop using deliver. The convenience is not worth the cost. They also will do multiple stops before getting my luke warm to cold food to me.
I attempted to place an order on GrubHub, which I do regularly on Tuesdays and Fridays, but I was blocked. The application told me to contact customer care to place my order. GrubHub also removed all my payment information with no warning or explanation. I called customer care to get an explanation for what was happening, but they told me they could not help me. They said they would send my information to a different team but refused to let me know when I would hear back. The rep told me there was a security issue, so I demanded they let me know what was happening. When a rep tells you there is a security issue with your account, and all your payment information is missing, hearing "I can't help you" is not reassuring. I escalated to a manager who read from the same exact script. Five minutes later, I received an email saying my account had been closed, with no real explanation other than violating "Your Content and Conduct." Obviously... this is in retaliation for me telling the CS Manager the service I received in the call was unacceptable. I did not raise my voice. Used professional language. GH can even review the call and see that is the case. Verson G is the person responsible for the account closure, but of course, I cannot contact that person because that would be far too efficient and helpful. I have never filed a complaint with a restaurant or driver. I have never had an adverse interaction with any restaurant or driver. I have never received any notification of any problems. Just a notification that my account was closed and no attempt to explain what "security incident" caused my credit card information to be removed from my account. I want a full explanation of what happened and what is being done to address the "security incident."
Check your receipts. Past month Grubhub has been increasing service fee after order delivered when charge posts to account. Food price, tax and tip stay same, but their service fee increases. For example when orders placed fee $4. Final charge then $4.80. How is this not illegal? Beware!
They assigned my food to a driver an hour away. By the time it gets here, it will be stone cold. Refused to refund me. Terrible service that either uses AI or outsourced bad workers for "customer service."
Order was delivered 1 hour early. The order was for 2 people and $144. Customer help would not acknowledge and when I sent them the receipt that was proof of delivery time they said it was not attached on e mail properly whatever that means.
Avoid GRUBHUB if possible.
What a great offer I thought from Lyft... Grubhub discounts included. SO WRONG. Vacationing in Hawaii, and ordered dessert for my daughter after a long day out. Another wrong move. What was to be 20 minutes, turned into 1.5 hours. Driver did come in without signaling she had arrove. Took picture of dessert, looked around, and then took the dessert with her. Minutes later sending me text that she had delivered it. Customer service is not a thing for Grubhub. Needless to say, this shady driver will continue to do this to others to come, as they could care less when reported. And to see my 1 star matches all others reviews, seals the deal.
I'm going to try them again because I "found out" on my own, they deliver from one of the best private owned pizza houses in the area. They didn't tell me, for weeks I poured over Dominos and Subway and other " food/cardboard" franchises. Let's see what happens. This Company Is Hated Amongst New Bedford Business Owners.
I will never use Grub Hub again. The driver was late, my food is cold and I want a refund.

Terrible customer service, delivery drivers constantly not reading the delivery instructions OR the sign I have on the door of the enclosed porch!? I mean this is ridiculous. We should be able to contact you with our issues and the inquiry be settled. Settled meaning both parties meet or have an understanding that allows us to feel heard and cared for. Which is not AT ALL how you are handling things. Esp because I can tell your agents are now scripted (I know this because I spoke to three dif agents) (oh, and not to mention I see the same complaints and the SAME verbiage used with OTHER customers that write reviews- so it's 100% Bull.
We have used Grubhub quite often, but since they teamed up with Amazon no food gets delivered 3 times. Credit card was charged 3 times. Restaurant never got the order. I can't show proof of purchase because it was never delivered.
I accidentally ordered to the wrong address. I caught the error right after I made it. With no phone number to call, I was forced to have to interact with Grubhub through online chat. When I gave the correct address, I was told it was too far away. I then asked that my Visa card be refunded. I was told several times that they do refunds. Only Grubhub credits!. Thanks for the great first impression experience Grubhub. I should have read the reviews first. After I use this credit up, Never Again! Very bad business practice.

There is no customer service even though they claim there is once your order is complete you Cannot get any help from anybody -- they just keep sending you to their help page, which has no help on it, Naturally. Just a lot of useless articles and no way to reach them. Initially I had a chat feature but that disappeared evidently because the order is complete. They ripped me off by charging me 25% tip without my permission. I was never an option for a tip and I never in 10 million years would've picked 25%. I always tip 20% and they have a lot of nerve defaulting to 25 and then not even showing me the field. Total and complete rip off I would never use them ever again because there's no way of reaching them when they have ripped you off. Not to mention that the restaurant did not get the extra message I sent asking for gluten-free soy sauce so it ruined my meal and I was vastly overcharged. Supposedly this was free via Amazon and indeed I was not charged a delivery charge but there were so many extra charges it ended up costing me an additional $10 above the price of the actual dish. And that includes the four dollar tip I did not approve. I would never ever use them again and I suggest you do not either.
I ordered pizza hut on 6/5/24@5:29:55PM through grubhub Amazon prime to be told it would be here no later than 6:08. Then I got another text message stating that no later than 6:44. Then I hit the track button when it still wasn't here and it said it would be delivered by 7:14. Once we finally got the order the pizza was ice cold. I also found out that GrubHub charges more than what Pizza Hut charges plus they may deliver for free but they are charging a service fee as well as automatically add a 20% tip that you can change. So excluding the tip GrubHub charged me $36.77 where had I picked it up from Pizza Hut it would have cost me $26.75 so there is a $10.02 difference. Pictures included. Horrible!

Driver completely ignored important delivery instructions and had dumped my BD, Dinner-In-A- bag outside on the edge of a small, unprotected and shared deck. Hot food left outside at dusk, in the winter is bad enough. Ignoring Disabled homeowners instructions to "Push doorbell upon arrival. Please do not leave bag!
Inexcusable. My neighbors must have returned from Synagogue just after my order was supposedly delivered. A total of 4 adults w/6 children (4 infants in 2-Double Strollers) navigating a 13' x 12" x 3" shared condo deck from a broken brick pathway cd have easily not seen a small bag dumped on the deck. It's inexcusable that Driver couldn't be bothered to read & follow simple instructions. No one but the customer is expected to assume responsibility for anything.
I made the mistake of using Grub Hub again. Every time I do, the delivery time changes several times. After the third time change I called customer service. She apologized and said if the food arrives cold the total order would be refunded. The order was 90 minutes late, of course it was cold. The soup was spilled and it looked like my meal had been picked through. When I called to collect my refund, I was told they could not refund. They offered a $10 credit on my next order. Holy crap! Really? $10 of of an over priced, cold, late meal? I am good. Grub Hub is horrible and their customer service is even worse.
