I took 3 coupons to two different pharmacies in my town. Both pharmacists told me this is a come on. They may give you the discount once, then goodrx doesn't pay the pharmacy when you go back for refills. I will not waste time to continue this research.
I've never been so humiliated in all my life. The pharmacy tech at Walgreens said they do accept discount cards but not GoodRx. When I pressed he got the pharmacy manager who mirrored the same words. Then he explained that they coupons they produce put the pharmacy in the red because the displayed price doesn't even cover the ingredient cost of the drug. I took back my coupon and went to CVS, same story there as well as Walmart. All three can't be wrong. There should be a law that protects consumers from these types of companies. What a SCAM!
More than 3 million people use GoodRx to save on their prescriptions every month. In our experience, SiteJabber attracts the very, very few people who like to write negative reviews and, more importantly, these reviewers never respond when we attempt to help them resolve their issues (which we can!). Received my 30 day free trial card. The web site quoted the discount price. Went to my participating Pharmacy and GoodRx would not approve the price quoted on line. Spoke to 2 different GoodRX customer service representatives. First one young inexperienced, told me what she was probably reading off a sheet. Asked for a supervisor (Isaiah) Extremely rude, cut me off during asking questions, and when I would cut in to ask ask a question l was told I was being difficult.? It appears they are programmed, and if you ask simply questions they don't know the answer too you all the sudden become difficult and they want to end the conversation. I rarely send reviews but this one is truly price false advertising and horrible customer service.

This site and app are very close to being illegal. If anyone goes to 4 different pharmacies for their scripts a red flag will be placed in your new file with the dea and at least here the state of Michigan. How many different federal agencies do you want knocking on your door? And then you can explain to them about good Rx as they are arresting you for whatever they want.

I had their discount card for my pain medicine prescription because United Healthcare keeps refusing to cover my medicine. Well so does "Good" Rx. When I called, a very snotty woman gleefully told me they were allowed to discriminate against me by law. I hope with all of my being that this woman develops a chronic pin condition. GoodRx sucks!
Hi Beth - I think you have the wrong company. GoodRx provides no services based on gender; we simply provide you with information and discounts to use at the pharmacy. I'm sorry for your experience, but I don't think we're the enemy here. It sounds like you're having an issue filling a controlled prescription, which can be challenging as many pharmacists are very cautious about filling those prescriptions and they may not honor GoodRx coupons (as we explain on the website), but that would be the pharmacist's choice, not ours? I got the gold subscription and decided to do an online medication refill since I need it bad since I'm working nights for a month. Asked me about my symptoms and didn't ask anything eles she went straight to me having to go to er or urgent care. I've gone before for blood pressure and I don't feel anything. So I ended wasting money on top of not getting my prescription refilled when I really needed it.

Lately, we have found that the pharmacies in our area - Costco, Walmart, Safeway, and CVS do not honor the GoodRx prices. Therefore the discount program is pretty much a waste of our time. Here's our experience. 1) Get the best price from GoodRx.com 2) Doctor sends a Rx to that pharmacy. 3) Get to the pharmacy and they don't honor the price. 4) Call the doctor and take the next highest price that GoodRx has listed. 5) Go to pharmacy and they don't honor the price. You can see how this can be a total goose chase after doing many of these. I'm very unimpressed with the program. It seems like it used to work a year or so ago, but not now. My mother in law pays out of pocket, is not on Medicare Part D. For example we attempted to get medication today from Costco listed on GoodRx as $71.00. Price we had to pay - $94.50. This is a regularly taking place now. Too bad.

I used Good Rx for my Rx's, they were on the $, but one was over charged by $20. That was advertised. So I called the phone number that was offered on the website. Right off the bat, the founder says, "we will help you resolve any issues you have with cost discrepancies, unless they are controlled prescriptions such as"... I got through, it was not a controlled Rx and the woman on the phone could not be less helpful. Did not want to even pretend to help me. Why say they will help resolve monetary issues if you won't? So, buyer (of prescriptions) beware! It still cost me $150 for 4 Rx's. Have a nice day.

I attempted to use a GoodRX coupon at Winn Dixie who accepted the coupon for other medications but refused one for an inhaler. Supposedly they are under contractual obligation to accept them but since you can't get anyone to speak to you from GoodRX to address it while you're at the pharmacy you're just out of luck. If there's no way to enforce this obligation - what is the point of having the contract? Ridiculous.

I have saved a lot of money with this card over other discount cards; however, the pharmacy will not always give you the quoted price. Compared to other discount cards I have used, the savings are better with GoodRx, but it's impossible to know which card saves you the most without running every card you have, which no one will do. At this time, I still think it is the best discount available and if the comparisons are accurate, I have saved hundreds of dollars using this card.

This is my first time using GoodRX and I only paid $1.81 for my prescription. They gladly took it at CVS with the only difference that they didn't give me the pills inside a plastic bottle but in its original strip packaging, which is fine as the bottle ends up in the garbage anyway. Thank you!

In general the American medical system over charges for all products and services. Good RX is the best comparison shopping tool for both the over-the-counter and prescription pharmaceuticals. Most people have never considered comparison shopping for Medicine which is a grave mistake if the money's coming out of your pocket. I'm looking at one simple tube of ointment that ranges from $99 the $423 in my coastal North Carolina market. Please note that you generally are not able to combine these cash purchases with Insurance coverage. Whenever I can't get a great purchase referral from good RX I look two the website affordable drugs for overseas and Canadian purchase of the equivalent generic item.

Goodrx is fantastic. Countless times goodrx has been much cheaper than what my insurance covers, sometimes even by $50 for a single prescription. I don't remember how I stumbled upon it but I'm glad I did.
I don't know how they did it, but GoodRx offered me a price that is one-fourth of what my insurance company quoted for on a medication that is commonly used because of its effectiveness. However, not all drugs are discounted that much, and you need to shop around online for Good Rx coupons offered by specific pharmacies. The effort is well worth it.

I think pharmacist try to refuse the prescription discount. Also Im not sure if every time before you pick up a prescription you have to check the GoodRx website for a price then call your pharmacy and give them all those important numbers again on the card. I am pretty sure that the pharmaceutical community wants to end this program, use it while you can. Things are going to get worse.
