Took forever to text back only to have the nurse practitioner tell me sorry we can't help you on this platform have a good day. I stood here scratching my head like wow is this for real? It's gotta be a joke… total scam. Charged me $50 just to tell me have a good day.
Good RX saved us money. My husband and I are both are Medicare and have several medications each that we have to take. Three of them cost $62.00 each every month. We usually ended up paying $221.00 each month for our medications. We just picked up our monthly meds and was surprised (and very happy) to only have to pay $42.00 for all of them! And a few even had 90 day supply! We did have to change to a different pharmacy other than Walmart, which was fine by us as Our Walmart is a joke! I'm very happy! As others have said, the Good RX card is NOT to be combined with a Medicare program. It is instead of. I usually don't do reviews, but in this case I have to say they deserve recognition. Thank you Good rx!
I have a GoodRx card and I checked the price of my medication on GoodRx.com and was quoted about $10. When I went to pick up my prescription the amount was $147! They ended up giving me their own pharmacy discount which was $20. So apparently this company cannot be trusted. Knew it was too good to be true.
Hello there. Sorry for your issues. When you see prices on GoodRx, they require you to print or present that coupon to the pharmacist. Your card will likely not offer the same discount, which is why it advises you on the card to go to goodrx.com for the lowest prices and discounts. We provide the cards for people who are unable to use our website or mobile app. Make sense?
The seizure medicine for my dog was around $35 a month last year. This year, it went up to $95! A month! I went online after paying that for a couple of months and found GoodRx. They had my local CVS as offering it for just under $15. I went over there, fully expecting the coupon not to work. It did! I was so thrilled! And if I get his meds three months at a time, it'll be a total of about $38! I am so happy!
Update: I had previously contacted Tango twice. Both times they said they never received an order from GoodRX to issue me points for a gift card. No one at GoodRX would help me with Tango. You would think that since this is the company you work with and they don't issue me a gift card, that someone at GoodRX would try and solve my problem. Tango represents you.
I had 29,500 reward points. When I turned them in GoodRX says I'll be receiving an email to help me get a gift card, Amazon card, etc. No response. Through their app I requested another email. No response, no reply. The same thing happened a month ago with my 2,500 points. I'm going to stop using GoodRX and start working with Single Care.
Hello Karen, we understand your frustration regarding your point redemption. We were able to investigate your issue further and found your points were redeemed on our end just as you stated. This means the issue lies with the gift card redemption email. We work with a 3rd party, Tango, to redeem gift cards and you will need to contact them to troubleshoot and verify your email on file. Below we have included Tango's contact and we hope you are able to receive your gift card soon.

It works! I got antibiotics for which Publix wanted $440 for $57 at Walmart using it! My $30 rx went to $8.15. Publix won't take it, they act like they've never heard of it, which is bull. Walmart takes it every single time and it's saving me a small fortune
Thanks!
I went to pick up my 1 prescription at CVS (no insurance) and they said it'd be $110. Looked it up on goodrx and it was only $9 at target! And got my other one there for $7 (not sure how much that one would have been). Awesome site. Would recommend to anyone.
The prescription must be for the exact number of pills you advertise. Tried to use this and was told by the Pharmacy that is the "gimmick". Also had to drive into another state to use this particular Pharmacy with the "so called" savings. Did not save anything but cost me more in gas.
Nothing you say above is true; sounds like your pharmacist just didn't want to give you the savings. We can help - email help@goodrx.com. Happy thanksgiving!
Hi, anonymous pharmacy technician here. Just so everyone else knows, the reason why some pharmacies accept these coupons and some don't tends to vary on a manager-to-manager basis. My manager will not allow me to accept the coupons, since billing prescriptions to GoodRx usually causes our company to lose money on each purchase. Instead, our company offers its own discount that is usually comparable to GoodRx's coupons. Just something to keep in mind- some pharmacies won't accept these coupons.
Hello Spring! Thanks for dropping a line. Here is some information regarding how GoodRx works with pharmacies like yours.
GoodRx has partnered with about 10-12 coupon providers that we list prices for on our site. Each coupon provider (or PBM - pharmacy benefit manager) works directly with the corporate office for the pharmacy to negotiate these prices. From there, we are provided the rates that the PBM and corporate pharmacy location have negotiated in order to post these prices on our site. The pharmacy does not enter a contract with GoodRx and instead is in contract with the PBM. We simply post these prices on our site for consumers to take advantage of. If you have any questions regarding reimbursement, we recommend contacting your pharmacy chain's corporate office.
This website literally has lifted the biggest weight off of my shoulders. I currently do not have health insurance so therefore my (typically free) medicine for my epilepsy would cost me $380 for a 90 day supply for the generic. Remember this is the first time I had ever attempted using this website. I showed my pharmacist the coupon, and even to her surprise, it worked. Not even a ten minute transaction saved me over $350. I initially payed $15 and some change for a 90 day supply of my medicine thanks to this website!
Happy we could help!
Wow, the whole process was smooth and fast. I absolutely loved that I didn't have to go and pay $180 at walk in, but at the comfort of my home answered all questions on their website, paid $40 and had my prescription quickly, I am super impressed. On top of it, used their coupon for the prescribed medication and instead of $44 it after the coupon it cost me $11. I am very impressed with their website and quality of service.
Hi Na! We're glad our Care team was able to help and get you the treatment you needed. Thanks for trusting in us with your healthcare needs!
I recently, without insurance, went to a major pharmacy starting with a W not Walmart. They wanted $440 for my prescription. I tried again at a major grocery chain in town using goodrx and they only charged me $21. Thank you GoodRX... you are for real. I thought the opposite when I watched the commercials. How wrong I was. Thanks Again Ross M.
Hello Ross! We are so happy that we can help you save on your prescriptions!
After reading the previous reviews, I opted for calling my Walmart pharmacy before I got my hopes up. They said they accepted GoodRx and all I had to do was show the person at the drop off window my phone with the pertinent information and I would be good to go. My Rx went from $145 to $79. I felt like I was getting away with something! Take advantage while you can!
Despite the reviews published here, GoodRx IS accepted at Walmart and we can help resolve if you're having any issues. Please reach out to us if you have issues - help@goodrx.com.
Let me start by saying some pharmacy techs are morons. I had one who didn't even wanna look at the coupon, went to another pharmacy, the girl put in the code but said yeah it's still $142 though. So I said fine I still need it, I guess I'll just pay the $142. To my surprise when I returned to pick it up I only had to pay $28! As the site said :) I am so grateful and did not have to hassle with my insurance who didn't wanna cover it or wait a week for a prior authorization... So simple and easy. I wish everyone had knowledge of this unfortunately not everyone does!
My prescription was so expensive through Medicare. My friend told me about GoodRX Gold. I m so thankful. I was going to be charged $118.00 for a 30 day supply. Asked Doctor for a paper prescription vs faxing to Pharmacy, so I could check pricing. Whoa, $30.00. Less expensive than noted on goodRX website. Customer Service is also great. What a savings so far. Thank you GoodRX!
Because of allergies to other common meds for my condition, my doctor ordered a high dosage tab of Amoxicillin for me. My Humana plan via Walmart wanted $380 for a 10-day supply of pills. I was stunned as it was not affordable and would go without it (am retired). Walmart Pharma said it was an unusually high dosage and didn't carry it. To Walmart's credit, they mentioned I should try GoodRx and said it might be cheaper but would not count toward my Humana deductible. They also called other local pharmacies on GoodRx to see it they could locate one with this dosage. They directed me to another pharmacy in the area and that same prescription cost $99 there with GoodRx. GoodRx saved me $281 and I was able to get this live-saving medicine!
I work for the prescriber and was sceptical. Prices have gone up and even staff pays $120 or so. I used the coupon at CVS and paid only $61.46. I am thrilled with this, and will relay to ALL of our patients.
For all the different meds that I take, I visited one dozen places. I got the prices first with out any discount, then four discount cards. The one of this concern is GoodRx for all my meds, some actually cost more and the rest of them saved less than 10%. The other three cards saved on average 40% or more. My word of advice, tell everyone you know that GoodRx is not even worth the time to get it.
Hello Jed! We sincerely apologize for the trouble that you have experienced, and would be more than happy to look into this further, and reach out to the pharmacy on your behalf. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, and we will collect the necessary information to get started!
Paid $45 for scrip at Walgreens. Came home n checked Goodrx after hearing about it so much. Received coupon instantly via text for $12.98. Walgreens refunded me $36. Should have tried Goodrx much sooner.
I looked up the cost of a couple of prescriptions at a CVS to find it came out to about $80. I went there and presented my card, only to find I was wasting my time - they refused me. I immediately called RX and told them of my experience. They indicated that they'd "take care of it" but that it could take up to 4 weeks! Ugh, do I really have to wait that long? Will this even guarantee I can use the card when everything is said and done, or am I waiting 4 weeks just to be told no again?
I want to give this review 5 stars, but I need to know what to expect first. Right now I'm just really disappointed.
Please send a note to help@goodrx.com so we can assist.
Answer: Yes we do. Just present coupon to save. Have a nice day
Answer: If you have any questions, we're here to help - please email help@goodrx.com and we'll get back quickly. Pharmacists have the discretion to honor or refuse controlled substance coupons, but most of them (like 99%) will take them, which is why we list them (and indicate that they may not be accepted). Hope that helps.
Answer: Hi Terry! You will need to present the coupon to the pharmacist, usually before, they fill a prescription. If you doctor's office is willing to do so for you then it may be okay, but we would suggest you present a new coupon each time you fill or refill. Sometimes our prices fluctuate and checking the coupons may get you a deeper discount. If you, or your doctor, presented a coupon and the pharmacist, for whatever reason, says the coupon cannot be used please give us a call at 1-888-799-2553, our Advocacy Team would love to assist you! Our hours are Monday-Sunday, between the hours of 8AM and 7PM CT.
Answer: Hi there - can we help you? Head to our help section for information on how we do business.
Answer: It takes very little time. Immediately after sign up you'll receive the information you need to purchase at our discounted rates.
Answer: Hi Shirley! We list coupons for Phentermine here: https://www.goodrx.com/phentermine Please be sure to update the script details and zip code to see prices for your area.
Answer: Please give our GoodRx support team a call at 888-799-2553, so they can contact the pharmacy regarding the price discrepancy, Steve. They're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: GoodRx can be used in place of Medicaid as long as the two aren't combined. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, so we can contact the pharmacy on your behalf. We're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: Great question, Don! Since GoodRx compares prices at different pharmacies, there are sometimes lower prices with a GoodRx coupon. If you have a GoodRx Gold account, you are still able to use a GoodRx coupon if you find that it offers a better price for your prescription at a pharmacy in your area.
Answer: Hello there Anita, we're sorry for your frustrating experience at Walgreens. Please give us a call so we may investigate this and reach out to the pharmacy on your behalf. We can be reached at 888-799-2553, Monday through Sunday from 8am to 7pm CT.
