I ordered glasses from GlassesUSA. When I received them and tried them on the frame was terrible and the glasses kept sliding diwn my nose. The lenses seemed ok. No amount of adjusting the frame made any difference. I wrote to GlassesUSA and explained the problem, i received a "ticket number" by email. That's the last I have heard from anyone at Glasses USA.
My prescription includes this warning.
"Do not fill RX if not willing to remake glasses or contacts for patient comfort at no cost to patient or doctor."
Bought glasses that did not work - returned them with instructions from my Optometrist and Glasses USA worked with me to get the correct type of glasses. No questions and no problems. A+ experience. Thank you..

I purchased the Thakeray glasses in gold close to about a month ago, after it was shipped for some reason the post office marked my package as "undeliverable due to incomplete shipping address" and said they had sent my order back to the sender. I emailed glassesUSA and asked if they could simply send my order back as I would rather have the glasses i've already paid for instead of a re-fund, and that I could provide them with my full address again. They told me they would be happy to send it back and would keep me updated on the process, that was more than a week ago. I've sent two emails in the past week inquiring about the details of my shipment with no response. So not only am I not receiving my package, I'm being ignored so I won't get a re-fund either.

Even though there is a decent amount of selection in this website, their service is trash. My order was placed on November 3rd and would come on November 16th but instead it came on December 1st. There were no updates about where my order was, I had to contact customer support for a tracking number. I received several tracking numbers and all were false tracking numbers bringing me to an error page. It seemed like this was a fraudulent website and I was ready to take legal action if needed. In the end, the glasses came and I really liked them but I am not sure if it was worth the wait.

Beware that you will get order confirmation of Shipping that just seems to hang. Mine says 11/27 and says "departed shipping partner facility, USPS awaiting item." Customer services says will get by Dec 12. That seems like a really long time from order (11/17) to delivery (12/12). And my guess is they won't hit this delivery date. Seems like they are lost in transit.

It was fun, easy and the outcome was great. It's a relief not to have to do the whole shopping of glasses, getting a new prescription, etc. My eye prescription has not change in years, so it's frustrating to have to go through the process, seeing a optician and then shopping, is time consuming, expensive and frustrating.
The only thing that was deceiving was the time line, at the ordering stage it said the order would take 3 days (maybe I didn't read it correctly, maybe that was just the shipping). But, in all honesty it was worth the wait and I'll be ordering prescription sunglasses very soon!

Answer: So far it's been a month and still NO glasses, or tracking info. Much longer than the seven to ten buisness days- in Still waiting.
Answer: I got the same B. S. handed to me. After more than double the stated time and lack of response, I cancelled my order and notified my credit card company.

In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Our customer service is available by phone, email, chat and social media around the clock, 24\7. We can be easily reached at any time, including weekends and holidays at all times to answer any questions and concerns. Our dedicated customer service team works around the clock to make sure any and all issues are taken care of. We are always working on improving all of the above, whether by opening new facilities, working and negotiating our agreements with carriers or expanding our customer service team and making them more efficient. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
