I ordered some lenses over a month ago. They take your money, don't respond or offer a refund. Walmart did a better job of taking care of me. They also avoid responding to my shipping inquire because they can't figure out where my lenses are. Look up my order number if you don't believe me.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. For your own good, save yourself the headache. I have previously used this website, but in the few years that have passed they have clearly gone downhill. I placed an order on August 7th. It was supposed to be put through production, quality assurance, and shipped by the 20th latest. I check back on the 15th after receiving no order updates and decide to call. They had not even put my order into production. I had to go through THREE levels of management before even being given a half-assed reason. They promised to fix things by giving my express shipping. Even with this express method, I was still scheduled to receive the glasses a week later than I paid for. I check back two days later when I receive an email stating that I will not be receiving express shipping because the order was already through quality assurance. My order hadn't even been started! This was a clear lie. Despite the lie, they still insisted shipping could not be changed and instead I would need to wait until the next week for QA to finish up and then another 7-10 business days for shipping. I received my order over a month after I ordered. Glasses are medical devices. I need them to live my daily life and I was forced to risk an eye infection by using 2 weeks+ expired contacts while waiting for my glasses. Disgusting and despicable.
Fantastic glasses at a half to a third the price of a regular place. With Glasses USA there is no sacrifice in frame quality or style. Others may be faster, cheaper and still okay, but Glasses USA is a big step up from basic with name-brand frames and superior lenses.
Ordered my glasses WITH TRANSITIONS LENS. I received glasses with NO TRANSITIONS LENS. Now they are charging me for Transitions Lens that I dont have. They Dont send you an actual return slip. What they send you is a very long policy on returns that YOU MUST FILL OUT ON A COMPUTER. IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE YOU ARE STUCK WITH THE BILL AND YOU ARE JUST $#*! OUT OF LUCK!. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!
Not even close to being my prescription, and they offered to let me return the glasses for a review. According to other reviews, that's a bad idea because the refund process is the worst anybody has ever seen. This business exists only to rip people off.

So I bought and paid for my glasses and received them in a timely manner. I ordered the transition lenses and didn't notice that they weren't transitions until around the third day or so (I alternate between contacts and glasses). I was very upset and called them right away. I informed them of the issue and asked that they send my correct order out and ASAP because I would have to go through my supply of contacts in the meantime, which I didn't want to waste and because the mistake was on their end. The lady on the other end kept repeating the same phrase from a script or what she learned in her training which was infuriating. I asked if they would go ahead and send the correct order right away and she kept saying "I'm afraid so, you will have to send in the glasses first." Finally defeated, I just send the glasses in and decide that I'm just going to have to order more contacts because I'm now going through those. They received my incorrect glasses a week ago now, but I have not heard a thing from them. Every time I contact them, they say "it takes 1-3 business days and that I will receive an email from them shortly." They then repeat this phrase over and over, offering no real answers or assistance. Might as well be an automated service line. This has been the most frustrating experience ever and I will make sure to let as many people that I know that ordering from this incompetent company is not worth it. If they get your order wrong, you are screwed.

I have ordered 2 pair of glasses over the last month and a half. The first pair the prescription was so far off I could not see through them. So I returned them. The second pair the prescription was correct but the frames where way to small and I could not wear them even though i ordered the correct size. I have returned the second pair and they are refusing to refund my money even though they do not have any frames that will fit me. I have called and had there specialist try and find a pair that fits my size and even he could not find me a frame.(his name was Christopher). Even after all that they are still refusing to refund my money so I can get a pair of glasses locally.

Uploaded my contact prescription. They entered it wrong and sent me the wrong contacts. Tried sending them back and exchanging them for the correct prescription. I've had to call them every other 3 days and call them for the "return shipping label". All they say is " you will be receiving it within 1-2 business days. Which never actually arrives! SO I HAVE TO CALL THEM AGAIN! And the cycle repeats itself. Oh. And when I ask to talk to a manager, I never get transferred. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! They took my money, messed up my order! And they can't fix it!

This is an update to a previous review. Finally got everything sorted out. Glasses are OK. By time you pay for all the options to bring the quality up to a "brick and mortar" store, I don't think you save any money. Then there is the process and shipping time.

I bought 2 pairs of sunglasses, I ordered them on 7/29/19, and paid expedited shipping. It is now September and I have never received the glasses. DHL never delivered them to me and marked it as shipped. DHL sent me an email stating the glasses are lost. I've been calling Glasses USA for weeks now and each time the answer is "we are waiting for the delivery department to investigate". I even sent them the email from DHL. When I insisted on speaking with a supervisor, I got the same excuse "we are waiting on the delivery department". She, R. Chapman, promised to look into it personally and call me back in 3 days, she never did. I've called so many times and the reps say she's not in and give me the same useless answer, meanwhile, I'm out of $412+shipping. I called again tonight, it's the same excuse about the delivery department so I asked for a way to contact "The Delivery Department" myself and there is no contact for "The Delivery Department". I will never buy from them again. I'm calling my bank and report this company to the better business bereau for investigation

I've had an overall poor experience with GlassesUSA. Beginning with trying to jump through hoops to obtain my glasses after calling customer service to have my shipping address changed due to a sudden move, being told that the changes would be forwarded to the shipping department, then watching my tracking info several days later show that my glasses were being shipped to my Ex's home. I contacted customer service again several times to explain that I had changed my shipping address (and also billing address which they sure got that one right) and that my glasses were shipped to a home in a different state than myself to no result. I stopped receiving updates on the progress of my service ticket. I turned to my last resort of contacting my Ex's family to have them ship the glasses to me. Arriving extra bubble-wrapped and safe, I began wearing one pair, storing the other away for when I'd want to change pairs. Today I just pulled the stored pare out of their case to find that the frames had broken in two different places and are entirely unusable. I will not be purchasing anything from GlassesUSA in the future.

I used the chat to inquire about something two different times. I sat and waited on a reply for several minutes BOTH times and my question was never actually answered. Then I called to find out when my glasses will ship. I paid for the 3-5 business days and they would still in quality shipping by the 4th day. The rep told me it actually takes about 6 days to make and ship, THEN the 3-5 days start. So I paid for faster arrival for NO reason. I still won't receive them until a week and a half + later.

This website is horrible and their customer service department is full of a bunch of lying *
I bought 2 pairs of sunglasses. I received 1 pair, but I did not receive the other. I have contacted them for 3 weeks now trying to resolve this.
Their email support doesn't respond. Their chat and phone support says to wait for an email. Any time I ask them when I'll hear back, they'll say within 2 days. I has been 3 weeks. The 1 time I got a response, it was the dumbest response I've ever read. I don't think they even read my emails.
What's even more aggravating is that every time I call or chat in, they ask me what the issue is and why I'm calling and which pair is missing. It just goes to show that they have no intention to solve this issue since they don't even have a record of it. Over the past 3 weeks, I have called, chatted, and emailed them multiple times a week and every single time they don't have any record of my issue. It's actually insane how incompetent, inept, and disrespectful these people are.

So I ordered glasses last year and they sent them damaged with the wrong prescription so I sent them back and purchased a diffrent frame. 2 months later I receive my Oakley's but they are fake Oakley frames. Sent them back and it's been 3 months of back and forth about how they cant put my prescription back into authentic Oakley frames. Funny thing is the Oakley store confirmed they were fakes so be careful

I ordered glasses, paid expedited shipping because I needed them in a timely manner and based on reviews, they take a while to ship. I received my glasses, however they were way too big and didn't fit. I sent back based on their free returns and shipping as well as 100% money back guarantee policy. However they absolutely refused to give me back my $12.95 shipping and handling because I paid expedited shipping and they don't cover that. When I asked to speak to a manager, they said that I couldn't speak to anyone else because the supervisor is all that is available. They are the highest. Riley is the worst manager and needs to learn english better. She refused to listen and care, said they held their end of their policy. Nothing else she can do and will do. I will never do business with this company again, as they are deceiving and should've let me know that when expediting or paying additional shipping that if returned it won't be covered.

I order contact lens for my son 3 weeks ago. Was told it was available after 2.5 weeks and it is at warehouse waiting to be ship. I have been trying to purchase a pair of prescription sunglasses since past 3 months. Its really hard to match the size. Had to return two pairs ( a big big pain in the a**). Answer: I got the same B. S. handed to me. After more than double the stated time and lack of response, I cancelled my order and notified my credit card company.

In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Our customer service is available by phone, email, chat and social media around the clock, 24\7. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
