We booked a ticket from Funchal to Porto, but were not able to check in online. When we arrived at the airport and tried to check in with easyJet they told us that the plain was ovebooked and we were the "chosen onces" wich they would not take on the flight, because we did not checked in online! Never book ypu ticket here!
Never use this scam company. We bought a ticket from Sofia to Berlin, but it turned out that we will not be able to travel. It was more than 48 hours until the flight and we requested to cancel the ticket as they described in their terms. Esky answered us that we can only get 16eur, but we have to pay a return fee of 16eur. Which is outrageous and you actually get nothing back, even if deadlines are met.
If something goes wrong with your booking you can forget about your money. Overall very unprofessional and rude people. They just dont care they will rather call you every name in the book then just call the airline and cancel your flight. They dont give you any travel rights either so if you want to cancel or anything you cant
Awful! Need to be shut down. I purchased a round trip ticket and the return flight never existed. I had to purchase another ticket to get home. When you call them they will say your situation is a priority then you never hear from them. Esky is a scam.
Booked a Ryanair flight. £20 admin fee added. £30 to choose a seat. Tried to cancel, told this is not possible as per Ryanair rules but purchase was still "pending" so nothing to do with Ryanair. Been trying to call but they don't answer phones. Unless you're in Poland don't use them. You've been warned.
My interaction with eSky was regrettably marred by a series of issues that reflect poorly on their service. From the outset, the customer service was unresponsive and failed to address my queries adequately. What stood out was the blatant misinformation provided by their representatives, painting a picture that their policies were more flexible than they truly were.
In attempting to secure a refund, I discovered that eSky's advertised refund policy did not align with the reality of their procedures. Despite their claims, the process was convoluted and excessively bureaucratic. What compounded the frustration was the dissonance between what was promised and what was delivered.
The breaking point was realizing that eSky had not only fallen short in providing a reliable service but had also resorted to dishonesty. Their representatives seemed to knowingly misrepresent their policies, leaving me questioning the integrity of the entire transaction. The lack of transparency and the evident misinformation cast a shadow on eSky's credibility, making it challenging to trust them with future travel arrangements.
In conclusion, my experience with eSky was marked by poor customer service, a convoluted refund process, and a disconcerting lack of honesty. I would strongly caution others against relying on eSky for their travel needs, given the evident discrepancies between their promises and their actual practices.
I bought a ticket from LAX to Sacramento. I also bought trip insurance. The terms and conditions said the ticket could be canceled within 24 hours of booking. Immediately after booking I realized the ticket timing was in error so I needed to cancel the ticket and rebook. ESky's website provides no way to cancel a ticket and phone number to call. I found a phone number on a travel blog site. The representative refused to cancel the ticket citing that more than 24 hours had passed. I pointed out that it had only been 12 hours and he said it didn't matter because the ticket had been booked the previous day. I am filing a dispute through my credit card. SCAM
Worst company, cheater and unprofessional. We paid additionaly for possibility to change the date of the flight. We wanted to use that option, their customer service told us that is not possible to that because there is no other flights in that destination
This means that Ryanair will NOT allow you to online check in for a booking made through e-sky, and will then charge you an additional GBP £55 manual check in fee for each leg of your journey. A total shambles that businesses like this operate. Thankfully, a refund via AMEX will be forthcoming, but what a waste of time and effort - should you be misfortunate to deal with these shysters.
Terrible company, I asked to reschedule flight and they didn't want to rescheduled, they asked to pay 100£ after - I payed, BUT they didn't reschedule my flight! Instead of this they send me a new link for payment - additional 40£ to pay in the next day! And they didn't provided me updated tickets!
NEWER BUY tickets from them they just steal money! Every day they asked to pay more and more and I payed but they didn't updated my ticket!
The tickets costs on website 300£ they asked my to pay 600£! I payed twice more than the price was on original website!
Do not use this company
Do not use this company they charge more than other companies for the same thing.
Esky! Esky!Esky! Pls everybody should be warned. Using them is at your own risk. Esky is dangerous. Esky dupes people. Esky give me my refund. I am not interested with your company. I paid a total of £1645.7 all you are saying is that you will give me £535... Esky you people are heartless. I will go and kill myself now because your company refuse to give me my refund. Esky is Dangerous and Deadly. Esky are thieves. People do not transact with esky they are Dangerous.
Everybody pls be warned. I am crying. Esky is Dangerous
We had to cancel flights due to family illness very unhelpful wouldn't refund even though had 2 months warning. On the other hand Barclays insurance were brilliant rang us straight away and refunded flight costs within 2 days.
It turns our Esky are not an authorised seller of flights for the airline so we had to pay and additional fee with the air line to validate our travel with them also i purchased insurance from ESKY with i am trying to make a claim on but the emails are not being returned and the phone number on the policy dies not exist.
ESKY have given me two other numbers that do not work and are not willing to help in any way even though they sold me a product which is not fit for purpose!
I encountered a significant issue with eSky, a travel company when I purchased a ticket in June. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my travel plans due to the unexpected passing of my father-in-law on the very day of my intended departure.
Subsequently, I initiated a refund request, which has proven to be an arduous process. The primary challenge arises from the absence of a live customer service representative, rendering all communication and requests dependent on online channels. Moreover, eSky requested documentation as proof of my relationship with my late father-in-law. The challenge was that the required documentation was located in the United States while I was in France at the time.
Despite these logistical hurdles, I diligently completed all necessary forms and attached the requisite written proofs. Regrettably, my efforts to obtain a resolution have been met with prolonged silence from eSky since July.
In light of these circumstances, I feel compelled to express my serious concerns regarding eSky's business practices. It is my hope that this communication serves as a cautionary message for others considering the utilization of eSky's services.
Sincerely, Franck
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! F I could give a minus star I would! I came down with COVID and I had the trip insurance. THEY REFUSED TO REFUND MY FLIGHT OR CREDIT FOR ANOTHER FLIGHT. THEY APPARENTLY WOULD RATHER TAKE YOUR MONEY AND HAVE PASSENGERS EXPOSED TO COVID. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Needed to change return flights due to family death. I had bought service package in case I had to do this.
When talking with customer service on two different occasions, I was hung up on both times.
They were very very unhelpful.
I suggest booking with the airline direct.
Come up first on search engine under ryanair.esky
Then charge you £40 just for them to book with legitimate Ryanair website.
My own fault, yes, but be easy to con and defraud elderly etc
Complete rip off! Be careful as they have a website address that include Ryanair so it comes up in the search
They took an extra £20 off me for a flight I could have booked through Ryanair cheaper. Then they wanted to charge me for trying to get a receipt
Not the biggest fan of Ryanair but this lot are just parasites
Deceitful and unethical company.
I booked a flight with Finnair through esky and they made me pay 29 euros for baggage claiming that the flight doesn't include it in the fair. They're refusing to refund the amount now and then claiming that the amount is a service fee by eSky which at no point of the transaction gets mentioned which is again done to deceitfully misinform customers.
Finnair offers 23 kgs of baggage in their fair but by misinforming customers that it is not included they make the customer purchase the baggage for 29 euros.
I submitted proof of the same multiple times and they keep trying to avoid a refund.
Horrible experience and cannot be trusted as a service provider.
Ryanair tells me that eSky put their email instead of mine on the booking record so Ryanair was not sending me info on online check-in requirements. They, evidently, have a 2-hour before the flight policy or you get charged at the airport for on-site check-in. In the States this is not the case, and airlines do not charge for on-site check-in. This resulted in my paving to pay an additional 55 Euros each person, which for four people was an additional 220 Euros. I am not happy about this, and eSky's emails never made this requirement clear at all that I was required to check-in on the Ryanair website a minimum of 2-hours prior to the flights or I would be charged. I have a receipt for 220.00 Euros. ESky's response was essentially "Too bad", you didn't "purchase our on-line check in". I didn't even see or notice that was an option or something that had to be bought extra when purchasing a ticket. I am not used to the European air travel market and didn't even realize until too late that I wasn't purchasing directly from Ryanair, which was my fault.
Answer: You can't if you book through eSky. ESky refused to cancel my flight even though the airlines allowed it. ESky is the only one that can make changes with the airline if you book your ticket through them.
Answer: Pretty much impossible and they are clearly incentivized not to progress any claim for a refund. The 'complaints' link on the website does not work nor the email address I was given.
Answer: Would not know about this I have never come across this before
