Just got suspended without any reason, had good review. Never had a problem. At once they suspended me. Asking them about the reason, they say they cant tell me the reason.
And even suspended me from making any new accounts, without any reason! Without any warning. Just because they want to.
Thanks!
Never going back.
This is the most terrible website I have ever done business on. I was a seller on here for four years until I got fed up
They will hold your account hostage and restrict any activity if you don't pay their monthly fees that accumulate.
I was a seller for over 10 years. One day they changed my password without telling me. I had no access to customer service. When I finally got them to answer me back after a month of calling and writing, they denied me access to my account and told me that the complaint resolution process would eventually refund all my buyers. I had to report them to the better business bureau to get access to my account and refund customers. After I did that, they labeled me a threat to the community and permanantly banned me. They still owe me significant money. It's genuinely sad to see what has happened in the last few years to a once decent company. Their fees and restrictions and ridiculous policies toward sellers are terrible. Their customer service is beyond incompetent. Their community is notoriously prone to scam artists. They treat legitimate sellers like criminals while allowing actual thieves to run rampant all over the site. It's almost impossible to establish yourself as a new seller due to the heavy restrictions on new accounts. There are much better options for buying and selling and they are rapidly taking market share away from this dying company.
After an hour and 5 phone calls later I'm greeted by a robot. After which I'm forwarded to another dead phone number. I just need to ask a simple question through, chat, email, or phone number. EBay is not available through any of them as far as I can tell. My email address is @*******@gmail.com if anyone has a recommendation of any other sites I could sell on I'd appreciate it. I don't feel like giving eBay 10% of everything I make when they can't do jack $#*! for me. They let a scammer purchase my listing. Which I declined right away and they blocked my listing and removed it. That's 30 minutes of work taken away because of the mistakes they made.and an addition 60 minutes trying to correct their own mistake.
UNTIL THE BUYER RECEIVES THE PRODUCT YOU SOLD TO THEM... EBAY IS LIVING IN A SCAM WORLD... TRY TO BUY A TV FROM WALMART AND OPT TO PAY FOR IT AFTER YOU RECEIVE IT.
I've been buying from from ebay for over 20 years and have probably only twice left a negative review.
A seller recently sent me a pair of boots that I paid nearly $50 for. The soles came off right away. I wrote to the seller with a photo of the boots showing the soles had come off. I got no response. I wrote again after 30 days and she told me that it was too late and anyway I must have done something to the boots. I gave her a bad rating and filed a dispute with Paypal. She won because she said I'd modified the product. Without giving me an opportunity to respond, Paypal decided the dispute in her favor. Worse, the feedback I left to warn others was removed. No surprise this woman has a great rating.
I listed a miner and got an offer that I accepted. Got a notification that buyer account was compromised and asked to submit bunch of documents. I submitted all of them promptly but still my account was restricted. They asked for an invoice of purchase for the miner and I submitted it. Then they asked my bank account statement and I did that too. Then they asked for bank statement that shows the invoice transaction. I told them that I paid via crypto to get the miners and that's how most miner marketplaces sell. Then they blocked my seller account indefinitely. Not only their service is rude and arrogant but also the most impractical and senseless. No wonder Amazon which is the opposite of Ebay in terms of service basically killed ebay to become the biggest ecomm marketplace. Ebay deserves it. I'm never ever gonna sell or buy via ebay every again.
I sold my item then the buyer has already received it stil the payout form ebay is on hold its been almost 2 weeks now and i need to call ebay again over and over again everytime if i need my payout tobe release... im not happy with thier new policy my buyer is already happy even my buyer already gaved a feedback tome but ebay stil ddinot care the selller... if i find new website i will not use ebay anymore hope ebay wil wake up thier mistakes
I asked for ebay gift cards for my birthday to purchase tires. Ebay won't let me use more than 4 so I can't complete my purchase. What a rip off! There is nothing good about this site. Stay away!
EBay is no longer user friendly! You can't even get a call back as they say they wii. Since The pandemic they are avoiding customers like the plague I cannot get help I've tried twice in a month time promising to call me they never do they never help me I talk to somebody they never did anything about my problem Ebay sucks anymore
I ordered myself new air pods from them. Not a lot came with a delay, but overall I'm happy with the order! Everything works without problems!
I am having a huge issue with eBay over getting paid for items I've sold on the platform. I've been a seller for eighteen years with over 250 positive feedbacks (not one negative). I hadn't sold anything for a while, then recently sold some items for which eBay is holding the money for two weeks. Why? Because they've switched to a new payment method which doesn't account for the time I've put in, the work I've done, or any kind of loyalty to me as a seller to say nothing of the eighteen years I've been selling on the platform. They see me as a "new" seller. I am so angry over this! I will never again either buy or sell anything on eBay. Never. And I will not have anything positive to say about it to anyone. The company sucks.
Almost everything in my room is from ebay great company all the packages Come on time. Excellent service thank you. Ordered a Darla cutter - very clever piece of garden equipment which unfortunately stopped working after 2 months. Was replaced immediately after reporting to supplier. Very good service thank you.
I purchased a size 9.5 jordan, and received a 9. It went through an ebay authenticator, and ebay would do anything.
For starters I'm a sort of new seller, so eBay will definitely not side with me when it comes to any issues. I havto wait for 3 days after item is delivered just for me to receive my money. Etc. Anyways, Shipped an item to a buyer recently (auction) for well under retail of item. I get a message from buyer a couple days after it says it was delivered. That there's all these crazy damages, and it looks like someone dropped it, big hole in back, frame doesn't hold screen in place. I ask kindly for more pictures of claims but buyer avoided any requests I had. He sent me 2 pictures of what he wanted me to see, it was hard to even tell if the item he took pictures of was even the one I sent because it was literally zoomed in pictures of a single spot. But anyways ebay then notified me buyer requested a refund. And because I'm a new seller ebay will guarantee buyer gets full refund even if I have proof the claims made are false. I take a video of me cleaning and packing every item I sell, even if it's a local sale. Again I ask buyer to provide full detailed pictures of items so I can compare them to my pictures an video. He send 1 more picture which shows the item a little better, but in this picture he sent I'm 100% sure it has been disassembled. Which is not how I sent it. (Also have proof of that) Same thing, no luck, avoiding my requests saying I'm harassing him and that I havto accept return or he'll escalate…. And at this point ebay has no way for me to give my side of the story. So what options do I have? EBay is holding my money, and If I ignore the request they will automatically refund anyways and quote "possibly even not require buyer to return item" which is a complete scam. This platform is trash. I am very familiar with people who buy things off eBay, swap parts out for their parts, then send it back to seller asking for full refund. Leaving the seller with an item in worse condition or even non working condition then how it was sent. But ebay doesn't care at all. Buyer was somehow able to leave a whole paragraph negative review on me, but eBay will only let me leave a 8 word review on him. Odd. Buyers username (qthebuckeye) even after leaving my negative review it doesn't show up on his account. Just super sketchy to me. Will be done with using eBay forever. Terrible.
I love eBay. I shop there at least once a month, if not more often. The problem is the scammers. You have to keep up with not only the item you're buying, but need to research the seller too. If you do that, you can find some real gems with minimal problems. I've had far more good than bad experiences, so I consider it an overall plus.
Zero human interaction to resolve issues. Awful customer service, only a bunch of articles. What the f***
Return going back to an international address, not domestic as on package. Discourages returns, as far more costly returning internationally.
Zero customer service and scammy sellers.
E-bay never again!
Joined ebay 3 months ago, sold 50 items with positive reviews, told me to send my ID which i did, after 7 days i got in contact and they said they didnt get my ID, then went back on chat and they said they actually did receive it. Then they put me through to another rep called Nidhi, she must have had a bad day and wrote some complete rubbish - ''Sometimes we find that eBay isn't the right venue for you. We understand that the move from PayPal to eBay Managed Payments was a big one, and we asked for information and action from you that we had never needed before. To allow time to provide the information and for you to decide if this was the best platform for you, we sent reminders so we could get your account set-up completed'' what does this waffle even mean? They just write what they want, a very corrupt company and wont buy from there again.
Horrible customer service (THERE IS NONE) You would think that with all the money they have they could have a LIVE person to talk to like they used to a short time ago. 800 number says they no longer allow phone calls. God forbid they could hire people to actually talk to. Bad for the bottom line I guess... Corporate Greed at it's finest! 100% Money Back Guarantee, what a joke. You can't even get to anyone to discuss a LEGITMATE issue.
Answer: I would never buy a used car without seeing it in person and having it checked out.
Answer: Ebay is a den of thieves. Even Ebay is evasive on complaints to answers. When looking for items, be sure to be fully informed to what you are shopping and use all that knowledge to cypher the listing, even then have found those that list items to be evasive on answers. Avoid ebay if possible!
Answer: For their own purposes and to protect dishonest sellers. I was once an avid EBay shopper, but now avoid EBay. Buyer protection no longer exists. You buy at your own risk.
Answer: Ebay sells nothing. You are dealing with private sellers. Some are good, some are not. The best way to determine this is to check the feedback. I personally never buy from anyone who has a feedback lower than 90%. 96% is considered bad, by Ebay. Take that with a grain of salt. Ebay management is nuts.
Answer: If you haven't already learned the hard way that Ebay is just pure bullshit when it comes to the sellers rights. When someone wants to send it back for any reason other than it doesn't work as described, you will be footing the bill. Not only will you lose the money you paid to ship it to them, Ebay will offer to provide a return label for them at your expense. Yep, that's right. They will bill you the price of the label if you don't provide it. Either way, you are paying for it to get back to you. It's get better. You can't leave negative feedback for the buyer either. It's not an option NO MATTER
Answer: Not to me! It's my main shopping tool! I look for good deals and free shipping!
Answer: Yes. You are right. All what people told you are correct. Don't trust ebay and the seller on ebay. Amazon much better than them. But anyway the best way to buy electronics from the local stores or official stores.
Answer: This depends on the seller of the item - carefully check their feedback and trust you intuition if you have doubts try another seller you feel safer with...
Answer: Hi Tom, As for reviews, you don't get them. It's called feedback. When you buy an item, the seller will probably leave feedback after you leave feedback for them. I hope that answers your question. Nancy
Answer: Depends on the seller. I wouldn't buy anything off ebay because there a crappy company.
Buy and sell electronics, cars, fashion apparel, collectibles, sporting goods, digital cameras, baby items, coupons, and everything else on eBay, the world's online marketplace
