Most of the sellers are reputable and honest
Be warned if u return an item as it was not as described ebay say they help u, but all they do is send useless emails. PayPal are no better. I have a proof of postage but ebay always sides with the seller. Use amazon far more professional.
Shocking robbing company! I have been doing eBay for many years however the new policies are terrible - sold an item, buyer wanted to return, paid for label - however several hours later eBay simply sent a refund despite me following all the return details correctly - what was the point of purchasing and uploading a return label if eBay simply go over your head anyway. Impossible to contact them too!
Great shopping on-line but when i comes to selling be very careful as you can get into debt like i have when things are automatically re-listed if you tick the box. But overall i think they could be a little bit more fair regarding listing fees and also regarding holding funds as a new customer /seller but they still like taking their fees thats what is really frustrating. But as a buyer great site 100% recommend Shane, Manchester uk.
One thing best about eBay is they always care for their customers and always respond them on time. Although I trust on their products quality but I am even sure if I ever get any problem they will sort it out.
You can get massive deals on this site well known for it. But have to be careful and use only the Ebay special star sellers or get conned. I had a bad experience with one of the sellers so most definitely be careful. Received fake items and no refunds possible cuz the seller went off after the quick bargain price sale. One of the best sites for bargains. Recommended.
This site is really good is your a buyer looking for a bargain buy. Although you should be wary or bad sellers that sell fake stuff, don't ship on time or are just silly. But I've had some good sellers on there, once I ordered a yoshi bag for a tenner(ish) and got it the very next morning!: D
BUT, if you're a normal person looking to sell some old stuff from the attic or under the bed then I'm not so keen. There are so many fees involved in selling your item and I think the percentage they take off your final sale price is really cheeky! I sold a kinect on there and was amazed at the difference in the sale price to the price I got after the fees were took off. I'm sure it's an amazing site for business's.
Why does Ebay charge so much to sell items its now over 10% when you have sold your item its ridiculous also Ebay should stop people selling counter fit items on the site.
I wish there was alternative to E Bay they are getting to greedy!
Was suspended indefinitely due to low buyer satisfaction. The feedback score for this account is 99% positive. That means only 1% of buyers were not satisfied. It is unbelievable that eBay is suspending accounts that have such good feedback. EBay ruins the lives of seller's who depend on the eBay income... seller's who are disabled and unable to go out in the world and pick up a job like normal. It makes me sick how they can do this and be able to sleep at night.
Ordered an item from Motor solutions on eBay. Was advised del would take 3-5 days. Messaged the seller on several occasions and asked for a refund.as I had waited 7 days. Seller refused a refund so I wrote on eBay feedback about the atrocious attitude of motor solutions. They then messaged me to say I would receive a refund if I removed the feedback. These people a obviously totally untrustworthy and underhanded and should not be in business except maybe in the underworld.
By the way it is now 15 days since the item was supposedly dispatched?
And eBay have been no help at all. Motor solutions are to customer care what Maggie Thatcher was to the miners
Just a quick email to complain about eBay's money back guarantee policy. I ordered an item that didn't get delivered (although they say it DID). Now apparently 'I' have to do the detective work to find out where it is! And trying to get through to the courier is impossible…. And NOT a free call. So buyers beware - their MBG policy ain't worth a dollar!
I'm an ebay seller and have just closed my shop due to constant theft that ebay allows. If you want free stuff shop on ebay, all you need to do is claim you never got your item as most sellers like myself (in order to remain competitive on prices) do not send items with tracking so get your item and then open a case to claim you didn't. Ebay will ask the buyer for a tracking number if they don't provide one you get your money back... easy, shame ebay treat sellers in such a way as without sellers they don't have a business!
Ebay blocked my account, when I asked them why they said they Ebay policy means they do not have to tell me why, they then requested copies of my drivers licence, bank statements, utility bills, national insurance number, receipts of purchases, and bank account details.
Do not give them any of this information, they do not need it, I have seen similar issues where they are apparently sharing personal information with other companies.

Be safe, I will never use Ebay ever again.
No help at all from eBay with a faulty electronic item which stopped working after only a few months. The seller does not even respond to messages I sent at all, having made many attempts over several weeks. I will not use eBay again for anything electronic or expensive. At the very least eBay should ensure or try to encourage sellers to reply to a dissatisfied customer. However, no follow up or assistance from eBay.
Ebay made me prove I had not received the goods from "Alice" by contacting courier and asking for evidence. I did so 3 times and courier failed to respond on each occasion. Seller has been believed even though I have not had the goods and was in the day(s) the courier said they were delivered - both 8 and 18 June for one item! Avoid. I have cancelled my membership of Ebay and caution against seller.
I have been a member on eBay for over 5 years.
In the last six weeks I have not sold one item yet eBay still took fees nearly £8.
What for? No listing fees and no sales.
Come on eBay get real.
If you call customer services to complain about eBay they hang up on you.
You can't win.
I hardly had a problem shopping at ebay, and they respond effectively and quickly if you don't receive an item. The only thing I would change is that they should allow to put more detailed feedback and also change it when necessary. I recommend Ebay
Ebay are happy to allow scams as long as they get their fees. They recommend listing details (including category of item) for particular items and then don't provide cover when the items are listed in the wrong categories!
If you do want to trap in any scam then please use the other websites to buy product online. Also the customer support is the worst. They will always try to convince you that its all your (buyer's) fault and they can not do anything against that. Scammers!
I have bought some good stuff through Ebay in the past. But of late I have been ripped off by rogue sellers on numerous occasions. Usually sub standard goods issues and even dangerous goods. Recently bought some rechargeable batteries that started to burn when I tried to charge them, just one of many problems. I find E bay try to deter you from leaving negative feedback so I dont even belive the feedback stats any longer. Too risky, I am an ex buyer.
Ebay took payments from buyers then asked me the seller to upload ID. They won't payout until I do. I have already sent the items so can't refund. They are criminals. Maybe they are in the process of being taken down along with Twitter, Amazon, FAcebook and all the other you know who criminal organisations that want to take over the world.
Answer: Customer service doesn't exist. They never answer, unless you're threatening to cost them big money.
Answer: It varies. Each item has an estimated date to you. Look closely at the page, underneath the item where it describes the shipping.
