If you like black or dark blue clothes dont get them from M&S. Within a couple of washes (cold wash) they will be grey and a sort of purply colour. Paper thin material too. Their quality has really gone downhill.
People are generally dubious that you can save money by switching energy suppliers. But a year ago I switched from one of the big 6 to Extra Energy. Their site suggested I would save £290 a year.
I ACTUALLY SAVED £320 over my previous supplier. Their customer service is much better too.
Despite it being near Christmas my on line order arrived following day, brilliant!
I thought the stuff I ordered from IKEA was good quality but it took about 2weeks to get it delivered and cost 20% of the goods value. Bit steep and a bit slow
I have been waiting agaes to get bradband connected, I dont use BT but BT Openreach control network.
They had to make the connection but there was a line fault apparently. Rather than repair the fault they kept cancelling my order.
They have performance standards to meet and part of me thinjks that rather than keep my order open and not reaching their target, they cancel it so they dont have to report it to Ofcom.
The telephone network needs renationalising in my view
I am quietly sitting waiting for EE to connect my home broadband. No so bad you may think. But this is the 4th time I have been quietly sitting waiting and as we head for 5pm, its looking unlikely again.
They have given me connection dates 4 times and failed to hit them. When I call (they dont call me, that would hint at good service) they sound in chaos. No idea whats happening.
I am heading for a month without broadband, bit like going back to the 60's. Maybe EE are going retro.
I think they operate one of the best on line ordering services available. You know what you are going to get and drivers are timely and curteous. You dont get all the rubbish substitutions that you get from Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys.
Overall excellent
I used to be a big fan of BBC coverage but find over recent years it has deteriorated. It has very little analysis but rather concentrates on political tittle tattle without any significant insight into issues. I don't like reporters talking to each other without any real input from external experts.
Lightweight overall
I have bought some good stuff through Ebay in the past. But of late I have been ripped off by rogue sellers on numerous occasions. Usually sub standard goods issues and even dangerous goods. Recently bought some rechargeable batteries that started to burn when I tried to charge them, just one of many problems. I find E bay try to deter you from leaving negative feedback so I dont even belive the feedback stats any longer. Too risky, I am an ex buyer.
I ordered a steam cleaner from Vax back in October from their website and still have not received it, its now January.
Probably worse than not receiving it is that they dont answer the phone, they dont respond to emails. I got one response after saying I wanted my money back to say that it had been despatched so I would have to send it back if I wnated a refund. It had not been despatched. I contacted the carrier and they said the tracking number didnt exist.
I am beginning to wonder if Vax are not in financial difficulties as sending me a small sum back shouldn't be an issue.
I would stay clear of this company I do not believe they can be trusted at all
I have read several reviews from guests about how bad booking.com can be. I am writing from the other side as a hotelier. But I do agree with customer views, booking.com are largely useless, make mistakes and hold either the customer or hotel as being responsiblle and avoid any liability themselves.
They make their name on free cancellation and from a hotel perspective, non of us want many bookings from them as too many of them end up cancelling. The result is we never give them our best prices as we need to cover ourselves. We always give better deals to direct bookings. They take 15% of your money for very little.
I dont have much patience with people who book and cancel all the time, dont get me wrong, they cause hotels to price high and overbook. But in my view Booking.com actively support this

Hi David, perhaps it would be better to get in touch with Hotels Team for this matter. If you want me to forward your feedback, please provide me with your hotel id so they can clarify things for you. Regards, Mac
