I purchased a prom dress for my daughter, she tried it on to see if it fit and everything was ok, when coming to re try the dress on a few days prior to her prom the zip got stuck and would not come down the zip had bust. I had to have the zip taken out and a new one fitted, I have wrote and told Dylan queen about this and they have been very unhelpful, all they say is it was purchased too long ago to do anything about it bearing in mind she as only tried it on twice. Absolutely disgusted what a rip off.
I HAVE GOT MY MONEY BACK - If you read my previous reviews you will get the gist of the struggle I have had from Dylan Queen, denial of problems avoidance, some mild admittance of mistakes with minor offers of money back and what could be called a curse " May you loose all your money if you pursue this type emails. So what did I do to get a full refund. I KEPT ALL EMAILS AND PICTURES OF MY ITEM, I CONTACTED MY BANK (THANKS SANTANDER) I EMAILED IT ALL OFF WITH THE COMPLAINTS FORM THEY SENT ME
AND... I GOT EVERY PENNY BACK

I should have read these reviews before making my purchase. Unfortunately, I didn't take the time because I found exactly what I was looking for on their website. For the record, I have NEVER written a negative review, but felt the need to try to help prevent any other consumers from making the same mistake. I received a dress in a totally different color than what was ordered and all that I asked was to return and exchange it for the correct color. I did not ask for a refund or discount, just to exchange it. This is the reply that I received from them:
"we suggest you keep the dress and forget about the subtle error of the dress, since all dresses are hand-made, it is inevitable that some tiny mistakes will be made during the process of tailoring, hope your understanding"
Tell me, how many consumers would consider receiving the wrong color dress to be a subtle

I have been in the retail business for 20 years and have never experienced anything like this from any manufacturer in our world, nor would any respectable operation consider this to be an acceptable business practice. This company deserves to be put out of business. I'm a true believer in what goes around, comes around, so hope they get what's coming to them!
You have been warned... Ordered my custom made dress, it's actually ridiculously funny how bad it is, it's like something out of a pantomime, I wouldn't even give it to the charity shop, it was not elegant and beautiful it was horrendous in the words of my 12yr old daughter! This website is a complete FRAUD! I advice everyone not to use it! They're very misleading and make customers believe they're based in USA and UK, however they're based in HONG KONG! They provided me with an email stating my order was confirmed, but when communicated with "SANDRA" (who was utterly useless), they claimed my order was not accepted?! How could this be when they did not provide me with an email confirming this? Sandra could not communicate with me professionally or correctly, and her grammar and spelling was appalling! If she is meant to be of professional manner, than she should not be speaking to me in this way! THIS WEBSITE NEEDS TO BE TAKEN DOWN! They are advertising dresses that belong to other companies which is Trading Standards and when the products arrive they are a poor and cheap copy. When you try to get your refund which they advertise a FULL REFUND they do not want to give it to you back they say they will only give you part. Also expect a bill from TNT for taxes from China. The whole set up is a rip off. They are very friendly with the names of Sandra, Cherry Roger and Kris when you are buying but once you want your money back it is a different story so far we have paid out over £120 in postage and are still fighting to get our £300 back which we paid out. A lot of the reviews about good things are what they have put on there themselves. They have a place in the UK in Wood Green but THEY do not accept any calls, post etc from us BE WARNED THIS COMPANY IS RIPPING THE PUBLIC OFF AND HOPEFULLY TRADING STANDARDS WILL INTERVENE.

Today I picked up my package and immediately unpacked and I must say that I AM SO THRILLED about my wedding dress! I am very pleased with the dress. I just got it today and I'm in love with it. Well, I must say this dress is CHARMING! I got it in burgundy and used the custom measurements (which I took myself) and it was made perfectly! It arrived rather quickly after I had ordered it. I cannot wait to wear it in a few weeks at my next performance.

As you have seen from my previous postings, DO NOT buy from DYLANQUEEN.CO.UK. The dresses are awful not like the photo's at all. My dress came with holes in it and THEY WONT REFUND MY MONEY. They may have posted an apology on this website, but this is the only communication I have had and since then nothing. This company is a disgrace. I have overcome Cancer and the tragic loss of my 17 year old Son and my dress was me renewing my wedding vows as a fresh start. I was heartbroken when my dress arrived and even more so when they wouldn't refund me my money.

If you look carefully at the reviews which praise Dylan Queen to the skies, they are written in very poor English. Could this be because they are written by someone who doesn't speak English very well - perhaps someone in Hong Kong?
DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM! The dresses are appalling, you receive an additional bill for postage and they do not honour their returns policy - I have been haggling with them since March but they do not know what is coming to them...
Where to begin. I ordered 4 bridesmaids dresses from this site a month or so ago. When they arrived they looked nothing like the dresses displayed on the website and were made far too big. I got in touch with customer services and it became obvious they are made in china. Poor speaking english and email replies in the early hours of the morning requesting the most rediculous of tasks to prove the dresses were wrong. 1 of which were to have photos of the children in the dresses that didnt fit... i didnt find it appropriate to send pictures of other peoples children in an obvious state of undress! I told them this and got called a liar. Although i had sent pictures, and had the measurements taken by a dressmaker! I always had a different customer service agent and they always asked the same questions and always insisted i was wrong. We hired a professional dress maker to correct the dresses and payed £80 each dress! Which out costed the origional price of £266. We were very bluntly told we can have 5% off the dresses which came to £13. What an insult! These people or person pretending to be many different people?... are frauds i urge you not to buy from this site! Our wedding is weeks away and quite frankly has been ruined. I have reported this sham site to trading standards and they are in agreeance to my complaints towards them. They will be investigated by them and my credit card company for fraud. Our dresses will now cost £588. Could have got them on amazon for £30 each! I urge you for your own sakes stay well away from this site and these horrid induviduals, i assure you its a sham. SHAME ON YOU!

My daughter purchased a dress from this bunch of *************. The dress never arrived.
Despite many e-mails they have NOT issued the refund due to her. They deliberately give you the "run around". All they offer is another dress. THEY ARE NOT BASED IN THE UK. THEY LIE!
Plus all the dresses I found were very expensive and not what I was wanting... I found this dress and it was exactly what I had in mind. After I ordered I realized that the measurments weren't right so I e-mailed and got the right measurements. I saw this dress in the catalog and fell in LOVE with it. I waited till 2nd to try it on, and never found one that i liked more, came back to it and decided that was it.
I recently posted a reveiw of the dress I ordered from Dylan Queen and the awful monstrosity that I received. They offered no return or money back and when I complained I was offered approximately £6 compensation on a dress that cost £95 plus £25 postage. To add insult to injury I have just received a bill from the carriers, stating that as THEY! Paid the duty on the dress, I have to pay them a further £24.67, making the cost of the postage £49.67 on a dress that I can't wear. I have contacted Dylan Queen numerous times and sent several photo's of the dress and have been fobbed off with excuses. This company is a con DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Answer: Please save your money and shop elsewhere. These people are a complete rip off. My mother in law bought a dress for a wedding and the size was completely wrong ( even though she bought it based on the measurements and went up a size to be on the safe side) and they refused to return it. It was obvious that it was made poorly but they refused to return or exchange it. The dress was also very cheap looking, nothing like the website. They're a complete fraud. I reported them and my mother in law filed a complaint with her credit card company to get her money back. Definitely do yourself a favor and stay away from these people.
