Received too many missing items and really horrible Long John Silver food. I knew better than to order in the evening. Ordered two platters, side of hush puppies. Didn't receive any seafood or the chicken. Hush puppies were extremely hard. Everything was very greasy. Complained to door dash customer service. They were unsympathetic. Refunded 3.00 on 40.00 + meals. They kept changing the delivery time. I told them, I absolutely would never use their service again. I never have since. Would never recommend this company.

I wish there was a way to rate the customers or maybe put them on our own do not deliver list. Without a tip the amount of money we get paid is crazy it ends up that I am paying to deliever someone's stuff out of the goodness of my heart. Like delivering an order 10 miles across Baltimore city for 4.00 knowing they are not gonna tip u when u get there either, if you decline the order the. Door dash punishes you and you will never get a chance at a decent order …I've made that mistake. I wish they just added 15% to everyone's bill and leaving the option to increase it so at least we making a little something especially with the cost of gas and car insu…. What's the deal with not tipping … I've never got a complaint delivered to wrong address I update the customer the whole time and never get tips I was making like 8.00 a hour on a good day I don't know how people can afford to keep doing this….

So I ordered 21$ worth of food and my whole order was completely wrong. Yes I understand that it is not door dash fault there selfs but when I kept trying to get my issue resolved they said the issue couldn't be refunded even though my order was completely incorrect. I had to contact support again and call and they ended up giving me 3.24$ thats it. For a complete order missing all items. Door dash is simple to order food but they are started to go down hill bad. A ton of issues constantly.

Doordash doesn't have much integrity. I deliver for them but have cut back tremendously unless it's for sure busy times when I know orders come in with decent numbers. I wondered why my rating was low when I truly try to get people their food quick. THECUSTOMERS SHOULD UNDERSTAND DOORDASH HAS A BULLYISH AURA TO IT AS A DRIVER. We can be going to pick up from Chili's and they will send you an order to pick up from Chipotle. I had to start declining these because it's too unfair to the customer. I'm to the point now if they send me double orders before I even pick up the first, I just log off and go back to UberEats. That platform is much easier and efficient in this area. Us a dashes get penalized for declining order under the right context of integrity. They'll send you somewhere knowing the food will be cold. Sometimes the restaurants dont even want to give you the food because they know it's been sitting. It's a bad service that puts greed before service and integrity. You can make decent money the first few weeks of the month, but towards the end they send you 3 and 4 dollar orders, send you places where you have to order like Taco Bell and Wendy's, and special instructions aren't clear. Again things for customers to consider. I like bringing people their food it's ok. But Uber is waaaaay better when it comes to better for all. I would suggest people stop being enticed by all the discounts Doordash offers, it's a reason they do, and please order from quality places, don't from Burger King, Taco Bell and low quality food places and blame us. They threaten to deactivate you for not wanting to give poor service to people who truly appreciate the convenience in the area. I can tell by the available slots lately more dashers are putting up with it much more either. I focus on Uber these days. Doordash doesn't give the tips customers send us. You can tell once you've been on the app a while. They manipulate the numbers. It's no wonder why the government wants to regulate them but they are bringing it on themselves. Have some integrity and find a way to make it work without penalizing the delivery people Doordash. And just in case Doordash decides to deactivate me because of this truth, just know I make quadruple on Uber Eats and will focus even more on your competition. Find some solutions Doordash

Door dash as an app/company is great. Customer service issued me a refund with no questions asked. I give them props for that. But they must just let anyone deliver for them. I ordered lunch. And normally it will say "driver is approaching" well it did not. I then got a message that the order was delivered. The driver left my food at some random business half way across town! I sent them a message with no response and called them and was met with a response of "I left it at *blank blank* store" and my response was "well you still didn't bring it to my house". I had to give the driver my address 4 times and I guess that still wasn't enough. I contacted support and they were fabulous and gave me a refund and credit points to my account. I then got a phone call from someone else from support asking me to send the driver my address (again). I did so, and still no food was delivered. I mean I'm grateful I got my money back. But if someone can't follow simple directions and use a GPS, and then just leave someone's food sitting in front of a business that isn't even open on sundays. They shouldn't be driving for a delivery service!

I don't see why people complain about door dashers I am a door dashER. I do my best to deliver the food on time. People complain about their dashers but the customers don't realize that we are people too and are doing our best. Most of us, like me, have a full time job and do Door Dash to make ends meet. BE NICE TO YOUR DASHER!.

So, I am for door dash but I am here to complain about some of the customers and ratings. I do wish Door Dashers could see who gave the bad rating and why so that I could understand and how to improve as a dasher and/or to defend myself.

1. Sometimes it is hard to PLEASE people when you receive TWO orders at the same time to pick up and going to different places. Yet, people still complain and give bad ratings to the poor dasher. Door dash needs to have better rating protection from customers who abuse the system and take advantage of door dashers.
Don't freak out if I am doing two orders at the same time and I am not at your place first.

2. Don't change your address after you placed your order and send me all the way to one side of town so that when I get there I am lost. I call to get the right place which is on the other side of town, causing me to waste my gas and get there late with the order. ( Person working at Simplots did this to me.) And so I knew I was gonna get a bad rating and I called into door dash which didn't help at all. Thanks for the 1 star rating.

Also, don't call me to change your address. I will call door dash and let them know you want to change it. You should always call Door Dash to change your address and hopefully they will let me know. One lady did this to me and I called Door Dash and he said I could NOT deliver it to that new address because it was in a different town. Really people, NOT nice to be sneaky and try to get your dasher to drive an hour away for 4 bucks. Thanks for that. Wow

3. I go to drop off a deliver, at the front door like the instructions say. Next thing I know some hand with a note slams onto the window of the door saying come to the back. I thought that was SCARY. Why could I not leave it at the door? I decided to make my way to the back and a lady takes the order and says her front door is stuck. Still why could I not leave it at the front door and they could go around and get it? After I leave, she texts and asks me for the drinks. There were no drinks in the order, but since I am a good dasher I go back to the restaurant have them pull up the order on their system, take a picture of it, and send it to her to show there were no drinks. And I tell her to contact Door Dash to confirm this. Well, since I don't know who or why a person gives bad ratings I can only guess and sure enough my rating declined.

3. I try to remember to ask for straws, napkins, and silverware. Many bags are sealed and you can't check them to see if they are in there. People, there is no need to give bad ratings if your napkin was not included.

4. I really dislike places that are hard to find and the customer leaves no instructions. Oh thanks for telling me your apartment is in a house in the basement and the door is in the back. Thanks for the bad rating because I dropped it off at the front door.

5. Customers, it really helps if you are ordering from work that you include the name of the place of your work! For some reason, not all businesses address numbers are easy to find on the building.

6. It is not my job to open a sealed food bag and look through it or handle the food to see if it is all there. HELLO. Please call the place you ordered it from if you are missing items. As a dasher I am to make sure the drinks are there and ask if they put the desserts in the bag. But don't blame if you you are missing fries. NO, I did not eat them.

7. For crying out loud, if you order at night please have some respect and leave your porch light on.

8.If your ordering from a place of work why do you leave instructions to leave at the front door instead of saying leave at the front desk. If I leave it at the front door of a business, anyone could take it. I think I got a bad rating for taking food to the front desk and I tried to explain why and the lady didn't seem very happy about it. Common sense. Only place I really had to leave at the front door was a day care that kept the doors locked and in that case I texted them it was at the door.

9. How hard is it to go to Home Depo and buy some house numbers to put on your house or trailor? It is really hard to find a place when it has no numbers. All I can do is guess, call, or text to make sure its the right place. Would save a lot of time and trouble if you just put the numbers on your house and in a visible place. Thanks.

10. It is really appreciated that if I call or text that you respond. Sometimes, restaurants will have an item that is unavailable and I need to know what you want. So, please don't ignore me. I don't know what you would want instead.

11. Please beware that not all road closures and construction sites are on google maps. So, if we get to a road that is closed and directed to go a different way, which could take longer, there is no need to give a bad rating for such things that are out of the dashers control.

12. Customers need to realize that dasher base pay is usually 2 dollars an order. We are using our own car and gas which makes tips much needed in order to keep delivering your food. So please don't order without leaving some kind of tip. It is an insult to live 9 miles away and leave no tip. Do you think I really want to drive 9 miles for 2 dollars? So, I decline these types of orders thus my acceptance rate goes down because of these type of customers.
Some customers say I don't leave a tip until I receive my order. From my experience that NEVER happens. I have tried it many times and never happens. What is really frustrating is when you go drop it off and obviously it is a nice, rich persons house and still you receive no tip. Some of my best tips have been from the poor side of town. Humble, poor people seem to be more generous.

And with that I give a shout out to the few generous people who have left me tips on the app and then when I have delivered the order to them they gave me cash tips. It rarely happens, but you are amazing. And thanks. Also, to those who after I gave them the ordered 'added' an extra tip on the app.

In general, I just wish customers would realize that Dashers are people too. I am sorry if you get a bad one, but most of us try our best to deliver your food on time. Be nice to your dasher.

It's getting worse and worse it seems like door dash don't screen these merchants I'm still getting food not stapled in a bag and drinks just with a top if the driver wanted a sip they could do this and the drivers retaliate if they see you don't tip. I've decided to let door dash go they can be fair about refunding but it works better for them if it's in door dash credits. They will only refund after so many times so let's say if I get a credit for a bad hot dog today and I order using credits get a bad taco they may give you a credit but let's say if you get a bad burger they will tell you no but ask for a supervisor which the agents hate to contact out of fear you will usually get credit no one has money to waste these days or food to throw away because the merchant didn't prepare it correctly. My advice go for the mom and pop businesses especially with Mexican food if they are new they put love into it stay away from Panda Express /Burger King better to go in person don't order late at night they put no heart into the food. Best advice cook your own food too much money to pay for mediocre food that's not worth it.

Delivery service is good, but they tend to take advantage on pricing delivery. Showed special, but when delivered charged full price. When questioned tried to insert old standing ad. Watch the deception on advertising fees.

Ordered breakfast from McDonald thru Doordash. Waited and waited nothing... finally contacted Doordash. Said I refused to answer driver's request to leave order at door, so therefore they were not refunding any money $16. Plus. I have not seen nor heard from their driver. What a SCAM! No delivery no food. NEVER AGAIN

My experience was good at first. Delivery on time and the food was correct. They changed their policy like overnight requiring that you have 2 credit cards on file before you can check out. This is a form of discrimination. What happens if you don't have 2 credit cards and all this time you have been using one. Then they lied when you ask for help. I texted them 3 times regarding this matter and was told an email will be sent and to this date, I have not received it. The attitude I received from the chat was like they didn't care and during this pandemic, it helped to have a good delivery service. I'm disappointed.

Why is it that when a driver accepts a McDonald's order and takes 10 minutes to get there the order is still not ready on top of that the driver has to wait an additional 8 to 10 minutes at McDonald's while they start the order by the time you deliver the order it only paid 3 to $5 but you spent half an hour trying to get the food from point A to point b This is completely ridiculous there's no reason why McDonald's should be taking this long with people's orders I will never accept another DoorDash order that requires someone to pick up at McDonald's because it's totally not worth it drivers are not being paid by the hour to be waiting so long.

30 days dollar delivery. It just didn't happen. First delivery what's a dollar then they hiked it up. Be careful with these guys

I order some food Firehouse Subs yesterday through doordash.com from too different restaurants. The first order came, the delivery driver was okay. For the second-order, the delivery driver came in her bedroom shoes. She practiced the no contact and she was not wearing gloves nor a face mask. I mean if doordash.com don't know what their delivery drivers are being professional or not. They are waiting to hear the customers report about their services. I say they need to tell the delivery drivers to be professional when delivering people's food. This girl was not professional at all. She looked like she was waiting at home and when it came for her to make a delivery she just slid her bedroom slippers on and out of the door she went, not considering how she may look to the customer. We are in hard times now and people that are ordering from business in the community are trying to help by ordering their food and using whatever delivery services that will bring the food. When they start wearing bedroom shoes to make the deliveries, it is time to start complaining because something needs to be said and corrected. If the driver is getting too comfortable, then I guess it time for me to go out and pick up my food because being unprofessional is showing that you don't care who you are working for. I wished I had caught a picture of her leaving my resident that day. Doordash, you need to upgrade on professionalism with the delivery driver. But I must admit not all the drivers are unprofessional just some of them who are just doing this because they don't care.
