This is a classic example of me forgetting to check the reviews of a website before placing an order. This company even lies on their webpage by stating it's "free shipping and free returns". The "free returns"… Are for store credit only, you don't get your money back otherwise you have to pay for the return. That in and of itself should be illegal. I placed my last order today and will never shop at optics planet again. The item I purchased although was supposed to fit my rifle stock, no mention of dimensions on the webpage so you would assume it's made specifically for your model, right? Not true and yet I still have to pay for my return.

Tip for consumers:
The free return they advertise is for store credit only. You cannot get a free return and receive a refund

Went to make a reservation at Sonesta suites in Andover Massachusetts. Instead of it going to their site it went to reservations.com. reservations.com charged me $836 for the stay and $56 for their fee, two separate charges. Upon arriving at the hotel they gave me a military discount Which made my bill $244 cheaper. reservations.com is refusing to refund me that $224. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well as the Massachusetts Attorney General.

Tip for consumers:
Telephone customer support is out of India… So good luck with understanding them.

Long story short… I'm 60 years old and finally found a need for a cell phone. I won't use it much so I decided to go with the cheapest plan possible which is $15 a month from mint mobile. I purchased a phone and a one year plan from them, could not connect the phone to their network, got pissed off and returned the phone. Apparently at some point I put in a lock code for the screen which I do not recall doing and now they won't refund my money. $531 down the drain and mint mobile won't even return email requests. I'm looking for a lawyer to sue them, which would also be my first lawsuit, so if anyone knows any good lawyers for such a case… Feel free to pass the information on, lol!

Customer service is via a chat bot or phone call only. Just plan on spending a lot of time on hold while you wait for a representative to look up your case to give you an update… Every time you call them when they haven't called you back! Mint sucks… Ryan Reynolds sucks… I hope he made enough money on it before they sold out to T-Mobile!

Tip for consumers:
It took several weeks to receive my phone and service.

What I have found in most dating sites and buzz 50 is no different, is they keep up old profiles of women that are no longer on their site just to boost their numbers of members. They use that as a selling point and it's really cheap and cheesy they have to do that. I live on the East Coast and my search results for my state yielded results from Illinois to Florida and Massachusetts to California even though I specified my own state. I have received no responses from anyone I sent emails to and at least half of the women have no information in their profiles other than a picture. This site just screams rip off and scam… Or at least half scam, lol.

I would go as far as to say that even their positive reviews are probably from members of their own staff pretending to be customers. I actually read one review where the woman said she's been on there for years and has made many great friends. Who stays on a dating site for years? You also receive hookers and whores in your inbox messaging as well as your search results that direct you to "get laid" sites. Even when you click on the button to select the email for deletion… You can't, as clicking on that select button takes you automatically to one of their perverted sites.

Tip for consumers:
My advice is pretty plain and simple… Avoid the site altogether. Even their customer support offers insanely ridiculous solutions to any problems you may have. For example when complaining about the errors in their search results, I was Told to use less filters for my results. I used two… Height and race… Three total buttons out of 20.

It's absolutely horrible with what Facebook just went through regarding their lack of control of bullying and content on their site. Reddit is no different and the moderators on some subs seem to do a pretty decent job while others have a false sense of power to ban people or do nothing. I was actually banned for two days for stating that I thought a particular actor on a TV show was "terrible". I laughed. One of the worst things about it is you can't really report a moderator for their infraction of the rules because when you do… Reddit doesn't even bother to contact you back, so nothing happens.

I think the absolute worst thing is The bullying from people that are too mentally small to do their own research. They feed off one another like the children they are so if you want to have an intelligent conversation about something… It's nearly impossible. I guess it's a matter of trying to find the right site for intelligent conversations, if there is such a thing.

Tip for consumers:
If your opinion doesn’t jive with everyone else’s, they will crucify you like the children they are

You have to have a cell phone as there's no other way, according to them, they can verify who you are. I'm not sure how a cell phone gives them the information they say they need, but who am I to argue. After joining for an hour you have to verify your cell phone… And then after that you have to verify your email address. I've been waiting since yesterday for them to send me an email in order to verify my account.

It took less than an hour to get my first bimbo to email me about her site. Why else would a 25-year-old from 2000 miles away be interested in me especially considering I'm over double her age. Couple that with expired profiles, limited choices in your area, and their selective use of pictures of only pretty women for their advertisements and also for all of the profiles you look at before you join. See, you put in for the trial membership... Where you live and what you're looking for age wise etc... and low and behold all these pictures of all these pretty women come up. And of course they're enticing you to join the entire time so at a minimum, you think you have "choices". Needless to say… I gave it a chance, joined, filled in the required areas before I could email someone... and low and behold… Out of 100 women I had a choice of two. The rest were all fat, ugly, dressed like grandmas, looks like they just crawled out of a crack den or in some of their cases, they were only separated from their husbands even though I put that down in my search to not include!

The site is as big of a scam as the women that are on it.

Tip for consumers:
Honestly guys… Go bump your cart into someone in the grocery store! At least you know they are real, what they look like TODAY and you know that they are actually “there“ and not a figment of your imagination, LOL

In 2014 they replaced our solar cover under warranty for the same reasons the replacement was turned down for. The thicker solar cover comes with a 7 year warranty that now ONLY covers the seams. So when you're losing a hundred little blue dots a day, they blame it on your pool chemistry. How convenient since they don't live locally for you to even take a sample over to prove them wrong.

You know they're selling junk when they advertise on their site it takes 10 to 12 days for a warranty person to get back in touch with you. Then they want pictures so there's another 2 weeks until you hear back from them... so I called them instead... and was turned down on this warranty after 2 seasons of use... less than 12 month use on a 7 year warranty. Shame on them... we are done!

I should have known this would go awry when placing an order via phone and they try stinging me for an additional charge for shipping. Around $148 when the site says free. She tells me it's because of the size of the items and they don't deliver where I live? You don't deliver where I live... WTF is that? Perhaps you should advertise "free shipping to certain locales... all others we screw"!

Takes a month to get the items that are listed as "in stock". All packaging arrives in good shape, but one of the stools are broken... which means it shipped that way. A replacement will be sent... In 3 months (out of stock NOW). So it appears they've pawned off my order on HomeSquare which may be a sub of Cymax. Very similar sites, same incompetance... I'm assuming they're related. Even the cancellation link in their emails don't work, lol... how sad is that...

Research and read the reviews and don't worry about saving a few dollars... it is NOT worth the hassle with companies like this. Good bye to you!

The real worth of a company can be judged by its employees... go to glassdoor dot com to see what their own employees have to say!

Contacted wayfair about some kitchen stools. Everyone is selling them for $629/stool. I contacted Wayfair to see if they would give us a discount on 4. Nope... not even a dime. I found a site that has them on sale for $535-ish and purchased from them. Told Wayfair to delete my account... I'm done!

Went in to my existing account, they automatically signed me up for membership with a rin curing monthly charge... thankfully I noticed it before the expert advice session was through. Charged me the initial $5 charge TWICE, followed by the $19 for my question. My question on electrical was too in depth to do via chat so I asked if they could call me. At no time did they mention this to be an extra charge of $24 so now the "real" charge is $48, after I get my extra $5 back, which is more than I could have hired an Ian to swing by and spend the 5 minutes to fix.

We go here for "expert" advice because we ar NOT experts so there are times on certain projects that we really need be talked through, to make sure it is done correctly. Who wants an electrical fire?

Now I'm arguing with them about the extra $5 they say they didn't charge me. It's been posted to our account so I sent them a screen shot of our statement so they can explore their incompetance!

I received good advice and we got the wired reconnected correctly so everything works. My problem is with the site and how you navigate through it for help. It is not intuitive unless you've used the site a few times. This was my second time in almost a full year... and my last!
