They first send you to a robot and then an outsourced person in India I believe. There is no communication between drivers and the customer service so it's unhepful

Grubhub has lower rates now. Even on restaurants with higher fees, it is worth avoiding Doordash

Answer:

First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
