Their customer representatives are very unresponsive. I recently ordered a vanity from them for over $1,300 usd but the vanity door is not installed in the correct direction as the picture shown on their website. Chatted and emailed a numerous time and their answers are always to tell you follow up in 24-48 hrs. They never reply you to follow up. I don't recommend to buy from Decorplanet.com
Great product at a great price! Received initial order promptly; however, some assembly parts were broken. Through trial and error, I finally received the correct replacement parts in the correct color - thanks to the diligence of the very helpful customer service staff. All's well that ends well :)
I purchased several items from DecorPlanet for the remodel of my bathrooms - vanities, faucets, light fixtures and hardware for a shower. All were delivered promptly, and a return I had was easy. I shopped around for the best prices, definitely recommend DecorPlanet if you are redoing your bathroom.
We enjoyed shopping decorplanet.com and initially loved our shower panel. When we developed trouble with the temperature control, we contacted decorplanet to ask for advice about a local service person. They followed up with questions and ended up sending us replacement parts at no cost. When I got to work trying to replace the part, I had lots of questions, and Dan answered email after email. Went to this store because their products look great and they are, but the service is only good while you have yet to order anything. Once you do, those nice attentive reps simply disappear. The rep promised that a special tile I ordered would be delivered by a certain day. It wasn't. No one bothered to let me know. I called customer service about it several times, but no one there could tell me if the tile had been shipped to store, to my house, or was even on the way.
Since I had already made an appointment with the installer, I ended up driving to New Jersey to get the tile from a different, more expensive, dealer and had also to pay tolls and gas. A meek apology from the customer service people just wasn't enough. And what is this crap about not having a direct number to the store? Screw this company. Never buying from there again.
I received a vanity with a broken off leg 6 weeks after my credit card had been charged. Tatyana in customer service told me to send pictures which I immediately did and that I would hear from her within 48hrs. This was on a Wednesday. Turns out she's off on Thursdays and Fridays so she deliberately lied to me. When I called on Friday of course the representative who answered could not access her email to see if she had actually contacted the vendor. I have a torn up bathroom waiting for this vanity! Never in a million years will I again do business with this awful company.
And all this occurred after literally about 10 phone calls to get the vanity shipped when it was done instead of waiting another month for the mirror to be finished. All while they had my $2300. Not sure I will order a James Martin product again either... dealing with a third party sucks!

I've had a great experience with Decorplanet. I purchased a sink, vanity, mirror, shelves, and cabinet in 2009. The prices are extremely competitive - I couldn't find anything comparable online or big box stores offering the same level of style for the value. I have received SO many compliments! The order process was simple, everything was packaged well and shipped quickly. I had to call several times to confirm measurements and ask questions - all which were answered quickly. Recently, I experienced an issue with one of the plumbing parts. I contacted them about the issue and they promptly provided advice as well as a solution. I have been very satisfied thus far and look forward to purchasing from them again.
I looked everywhere for a contemporary vanity set given the specific size of our bathroom. Once i found Decor planet website and visited their showroom, i was knew i found my ideal bathroom. Later we sent friends and family members to their showroom and they ended up buying their entire bathroom set which was unbelievably beautiful and were happy with them as well.
The only place where I could find ALL the pieces I wanted at great prices. The post sales support has been great as well, whether I needed an install manual, tips on best method to install, or buying replacement parts that I (clumsily) broke! Definitely worth checking out.
I ordered on 12-3-19 a medicine cabinet from decor planet, it's the 18th. Still don't have it... after they told me it'll ship in 2 ~3 days. 10 days after, I emailed them, checking, complaining and trying to cancel. No reply.
I get on phone 3 times, during the day to be put on hold for 30 minutes, then I hang up. Called hotlines after hours, no answer, just an answering machine. It's 12-18 and I still dont know where the f*$# is the $800.00 Medicine cabinet. Way fair had the same for 50$ more, I made a bad decision. Never again I ll buy anything from these guys...
Wow, reading these other experiences really shocks me. I ordered a vanity set only to find out it was back ordered a would take months to deliver. I called the customer service number and got a human within a minute.
He first apologized that the vanity was listed as 'available' (I checked the next day and the description had been changed to 'back ordered', then he offered me the display model at a discount. He emailed detailed pictures of the model and described in detail the damage to it. I decided to wait on a new model, and received a discount for ordering early (saved me $80!).
When I did receive the vanity it was in perfect condition and I'm about to take pics for them to use on their website. Not a perfect experience, but the apologies, discounts, willingness to make things right and quality product more than made up for the bad stuff.
Several years ago we ordered our vanities and plumbing fixtures (sinks, faucets, toilets, etc.) from decorplanet.com and they were very helpful with recommendations, prompt on shipping, and very competitive with pricing. We love the look of their products in our modern design home and have been enjoying them for almost two years. The ceramic disc valve in one of the faucets began inhibiting flow, and when I called today to order a replacement part, even though the warranty had expired, I was amazed to be told that the part would be sent to me at no charge for the part or for the shipping. We ordered a granite kitchen sink from DecorPlanet. The sink arrived broken (see photos below). Instead of refunding our money at that time, they shipped us a 2nd sink. This 2nd sink was broken even worse than the 1st sink. It is difficult to reach any Customer Service people. Finally got a hold of someone who said they would refund our full amount for the sinkit should take about 3-7 business days. Our money has still not been refunded (15 days later). Can still not get a hold of anyone in Customer Service. I will never do business with them again. Lesson learned.
It is my first time ever using your website to order a bathroom vanity. Gail was absolutely amazing: competent, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. I enjoy shopping with Gail's help so much that I ended up adding more and more things to my order not only for my rental but also for my own home. I also didn't mind spending more money on getting quality accessories because I feel Gail is looking out to help me save as much money as she could by always suggesting a lower price items with similar look. It was sad that I ran out of things to buy at this time and had to let this amazing sale lady go. I ordered a new KWC spray head from DecorPlanet. They had the best price I found on the internet, about 20% less than Amazon. I placed my order and was informed two days later that their supplier could not deliver the product immediately and I might have to wait two weeks to get my order filled. They gave me a date by which it should be delivered. I was notified about a week later that it had shipped. I received it 3 days late, well within the window they had promised. The spray head was as advertised and their service and care were admirable.
Agree with every bad review about this company. Very rude customer service, poor quality of vanities and mirrors. Decoplanet delivers broken merchandise and tries to blame it on a customer, offering to pay half of the price of broken merchandise for them to exchange it! They don't explain return and exchange policy (it hangs somewhere in the dark corner so no one can see it)- and we were actually told that we had 7 days to return/exchange it! That was a lie! When we asked to speak to a manager- turned out he is never there, "he comes and goes as he pleases!" Nothing but a scam!
I rated one star, because I can't given none, worst costumer service, beware with this store, do not buy anything from this company, you will regret. I had a very bad experience returning a item that I bought and they sent it a months later when was no longer needed.
Ordered a shower enclosure. Was supposed to ship in 4 days. It took 6. When it finally shipped it was shipped to the wrong address. When It then took them almost 48 hours to tell me that they needed to reorder the product which would take another 2 days to process before it could be shipped. I cancelled the item.
