Great customer service in stores. Be aware of the shipping company, they are very rude and lazy to deliver! I was without a vanity for the bathroom for over a month. The driver decided not to deliver it because no one is home, (that was his excuse meanwhile there is a doorman who was able to receive the package). Called to verify what was the issue and the driver and manager gives me attitude being rude and unprofessional. They need to put themselves in our shoes and see how it feel to treat us customer like this. Deliver company needs to have more structure and better customer service, we as customers spend thousands of dollars with your company, we should have a little bit or more respect or communication.
This way of working is unacceptable.
Horrible customer service that is putting in a lot of effort in proving you are wrong than to solve a problem! Their system has placed a duplicate order, only one confirmation was ever sent out, but they charged me $750 shipping fee to send it back to sender and called me several times to yell at me that it's my fault. They'll go beyond and above their duties to convince the customer they are wrong. Previous reviews just prove that they constantly mess up orders and then blame the customer for it.
I am very happy with the selections and prices best online. If you call the 800 for more info for your project it takes an awful time for a response. However the on line chat was on the money and Evander called right back. He did research on the products I needed. But There only a 30 days window to return your items. Had a mirror door lightly chipped. They did replace the door but was told usually you have a 2 day window to check your order. If you have anything that can be damaged check right away!
I purchased a sink and vanity from DecorPlanet one year ago and was pleased by the experience. I was able to speak with a customer service representative right away and the product arrived on time. The sink itself did need additional work by my contractor as it did not allow for the top drawer to fit it properly. On the (very) positive side, the company replaced the glass piece of faucet for us at no charge a year after it was purchased even thought the chip was due to our own mishap and not a product defect.
They shipped item via FedEx. Item was not delivered to my home. Because FedEx marked it as "delivered," there was hesitation in refunding my money. However, I am glad to report that they appear to be living up their responsibility as sellers and contacting FedEx and claim that they will refund my money while they figure out what happened with the shipping. If they come through on their promise, it is what I would expect from a professional company.
I purchased the Fleurco FA483-72 Capri 45 7/8" - 46 1/4" Framed Half-Round 3 Curved Sliding Shower Door from decorplanet.com.
1) the screw heads stripped so easily and we're very poor. We had to go buy new screws to make it work
2) the glass clips are super fragile and broke
3) the directions are bad. One parts said to screw slide on glass supports. It didn't state which direction, how many on top or bottom, and it has 6 which was confusing since you only needed 4. There were no extra parts for anything else. But when they started breaking, we figured it out.
4) the self tappers have to have a pilot hole drilled first to work and the directions didn't say that. They were not sharp enough to go through the metal
5) there is no cap on top for the side supports so it has a 2 inch hole on top for anything to fall in. ( both sides)
— I could go on, especially about the bad directions. You have to have an engineer or a bathroom pro to know how to assemble.
Hoping it stays together. Home Depot has one much cheaper that I believe would have been better quality.
I have been told they are going to make it right and I will update my review if/when they do. Hopefully they will because I was anticipating the parts I ordered weeks ago and needed them last week. Ordering them in advance didn't help me in this instance.
What a hassle dealing with this place! I bought a vanity there (~$800). When I finally got it, the basin was broken. So, to their credit, they issued a return on that. Meanwhile, the vanity did NOT match my plumbing layout. SO, after going back and forth with customer service for about 2 weeks, I finally got a PARTIAL refund. (the tagged me with a restocking fee--even though my return was going to be resold as a "showroom model" -- AND return shipping). I will NOT be doing business with these guys again and do not recommend them! Two stars is GENEROUS.
This was one of the most positive buying experiences we have ever had. Great customer service, especially from James in the Staten Island office, the products are fantastic, and the website is very well organized and stocked. I would not hesitate to buy from Decor Planet again.

I ordered a Toto toilet and self closing seat from decor planet because they had the best price and free shipping. The problem was I only got part of the order. Saint Billy from customer service helped me resolve it and he did a great job. Always available, responsive and understanding. My replacement parts were shipped in less than four days. If part of a shipment disappears, I know it is a ton of work to try to figure out what went wrong without losing a customer. Communication is key and he was always on top of it.

Thanks to Jason Steward my renovation will stay on time. He was very courteous, responsive and very knowledgeable. Once the product came back in stock due to being on back order, it was shipped out and received within 3 days. Jason helped with a defective sink part. I would definitely order from decor planet again just alone on customer service. That says volumes in this day and age.

Ordered about 3500. 00 worth of bathroom items from this company. Order was placed on 7 November 2019. On 11 November 2019 I received a email stating my item would not ship until April of 2020 and I had 48 hours to cancel the order. Thank goodness I check my email regularly. My card had already been charged so now I have to wait a week or possibly more to receive a refund. On a good note, the person I spoke with in customer service was very nice.
I went back and forth with several items for my new Manhattan bathroom and Dan was particularly helpful guiding me about finishes and how to choose the best for my budget. I even changed my order and they gladly helped me out.
I bought a Kohler toilet with dual flush system that is perfect for my space and bathtub (which I didn't change). Also, I purchased all my bathroom fixtures at Decorplanet after visiting their location in Brooklyn and spending about 1 hour with Dan. The fixtures are very high quality and the prices are very reasonable in comparison to those of Blackman, Restoration Hardware and others in Manhattan.

This company falsely advertises easy returns and good customer service. I purchased shower doors from them at nearly $700. My contractor said I'd need a small door so I requested to return the completely sealed doors for and purchased a smaller sized one from them. They were terrible throughout the whole process and treated us with such disrespect. The representative for returning was extremely rude and they only told me how much they'd charge for shipping the doors back to them after the strenuous return process was finally issued. They charged me a crazy shipping fee and a restocking fee despite the doors being sealed and unused AND me purchasing a replacement door from them. I will never deal with them again. I advise all customers to stay away and go with a reputable company that's honest and care about customer service. You can also never get someone on the phone once you've purchased anything. Once they have your money, good luck trying to get help with anything!
I recently purchased from Decor Planet and was so impressed I felt compelled to write a review. Their customer service and response was exceptional. Got a service representative right away. Had a damage issue and they took care of it with no hassle and kept me in the loop as to the status. Price was best comparatively, and the ability to talk with someone without being on continuous hold makes Decor Planet stand well above their competitors. I am a designer, and purchase a lot of home goods, so I know about shopping on line for products.
Their Items are made cheap material. I ordered a very expensive tub- it was damaged twice in the shipping process. The tub came to my house the second time around and it was damaged when i called my sales rep, he had no interest in dealing with the problem and did not want to refund me. Furthermore, their customer service do not help- they do not return any calls ever. When you walk into the store they are all nice to you once you give them your credit card they become total ah!
This was our 4th time purchasing products from this store. I will say that what sets it apart is its staff. Igor was amazing. Kind, sincere, patient and professional. There was a problem with our shipment and he immediately resolved it. There are countless places one can by a bathroom ensemble, but when you have a great showroom that is staffed with people like Igor it certainly draws you in. Kudos to decor planet on hiring great staff.
My husband, daughter and myself bombarded the store in search of tile for our 2 bath renovations Gail was there to help! She sourced some options, gave us time to look, weighed in on our options with her expert opinion AND helped to keep our little one occupied! After our initial visit we had a follow up, placed the order and the tile was delivered within the next week! It was such a great experience and the tiles are beautiful!
