Placed a large order that rep said should ship in 1-2 weeks. 10 weeks later and no ETA. I canceled.

If you purchase anything from Décor Planet contact the sales rep Vladimir. He is responsive, caring and will go out of his way to help you. If you get Aliona hang up immediately. She will lie to you about delivery costs. She will misinform you about shipping. She will label one kind of merchandise for another to save themselves cost. They have my returned commodes and my money. The shipper wouldn't pick up the commodes because Ali labeled the commodes under the classification of vanity to save Décor shipping cost. The shipper refused to pick up the commodes. I shipped them back at my cost with Decor's rma # and Décor says they never received them, but one rep won't lie and that's Vladimir. He will steer you right. They received my returned merchandise, never conacted me, never credited my account. My tracking #'s show that Décor did receive my commodes back. Can they legally withhold credit when they received the merchandise. My attorney has asked for pictures of the merchandise. You may need an attorney to purchase anything from Décor Planet in Brooklyn unless you deal directly with Vladimir.

I purchased a vanity set with decorplanet a couple of months ago. Their service was impeccable from beginning to end. First, there was my call to their customer service hotline to find out more about the products. I got through to a real salesperson (his name was Refael) right away without having to go through a long menu or having to press a chain of buttons. Refael was very knowledgeable with the products and very helpful. A couple of days later, I made the purchase. This was a few days before black Friday. When black Friday came, I realized that they put additional discount on the item. I called back and asked if I could also get this discount since I literally just made the purchase. Their sales rep was very helpful again and extended me an additional discount, not for the entire amount, but close. I was still very pleased with that. The items were delivered promptly and very carefully wrapped. All the boxes were packed tight on to a wooden crate with plastics and ties around them so that nothing could move or get dislodged. We only just installed the vanity set and mirror medicine cabinets. The quality was just as described and shown on their website. The faucets were beautiful and sleek. Even our installation guy commented on the excellent quality. It is not always so trouble free buying such big items online. We went along first because of the very attentive customer service we received right from the start and also because of other people's great reviews. We are pleased to provide this one if it could help others. At the time of the purchase, we also bought the 'legs' for the vanity cabinets. However, as the installation project progressed, we realized that we really would have no use with them. Now that the work is finished, we called to ask if we could return them - even if it was just for a small refund to cover the cost of shipping. We just do not want to waste the material - the items have not even been unwrapped! We are of course well pass the company's time limit for returns but they have been really courteous and helpful again. Frankly speaking, if the after-sales service can be so good, you know that you are dealing with a company with people who care!
