Delivery was 3 heavy boxes of wine. Asked if he was able to just take them down the 5 stairs of our unit block door - not into the house and he would not even let me get a question out. Just started recording me (on our private property) and said aggressively "do what you want call the police or anything". The delivery was for wine which then had to be left out - in the bright and hot sun until my partner came home in 6-7 hours. - he could not even move it to a sheltered area.
Tried to contact Couriers Please - got a response saying it had been escalated and someone would contact me. Followed up a couple of weeks later - and crickets - not had any contact at all from then at all. Tried to respond to the email and got a "doesn't take incoming emails" message - not a good look for an email that starts "contactus". Tried to do another online contact form - and apart from the auto response - again - nothing,
If you care about what you are wanting delivered - do not use these guys. Unfortunately it also means the Shingleback (the vineyard) have lost a customer too as I won't order wine if the company they contract leave it safely. Of the 24 bottles - we have opened and tried 3 since - none have been good - and this is wine we have enjoyed many times before. Can only put it down to the treatment the of being left in the sun and heat all day.

Lies and laziness
May 11, 2020

Received an email in the morning that the courier had attempted delivery and was unable to. I was up since 6am working from home in the lounge room no one had even attempted. No card was even left so I called to complain and ask what was happening. Customer service was rude and dismissive, told me just to pick it up from whatever store they left it at. I said that I wanted the courier to deliver it as per the service, I would pick it up from a store if they'd attempted first but they hadn't. I asked to talk to someone about getting into contact with the driver and she said I'd have to wait four hours. I said I'd wait on hold and she told me no. I had to ask several more times and she then said it was a 40 minute wait for a supervisor I said I was happy to wait. It was only 2 minutes... he tried to call delivery driver and said the phone was off. I said I just wanted the parcel delivered and he said that he would send a message through to the scanner so the driver would see it. This was at 10am. Now 7pm and nothing. Just got an email that I had to pick it up from a random grocery store... absolutely disgraceful. No accountability for the company when they don't actually attempt delivery. STILL no delivery card... no one has been here.

Deteriorating service
February 25, 2020

Shockers. Must be one of the worst courier companies in Australia. We are a business and can't afford to have our customers expensive equipment lost. CP are virtually uncontactable. Standard responses "we are investigating". Picked up 6-02-202. As at 26-02-2020 still lost. The previous equipment that disappeared for 3 weeks should have been the message to our freight manager - find another responsible freight company. Singapore Post should be embarrassed by the performance of their subsidiary. Although we have used CP for a number of years, they have definitely gone downhill with delivery delays an almost daily occurrence.

I bought a book from QBD and had no idea they were sending with Couriers Please. After it was supposed to have arrived they told me that the Couriers Please tracking says that they delivered it 4 days earlier. Supposedly they delivered parcel when I was not home. In my area, if something is left outside there's a 90% chance it will be stolen, which is what I presume happened. But how can I know what happened when they won't respond. I've logged 4 queries with them and no answer. Each ticket says they'll answer within a day. It's been almost 2 weeks. QBD will refund me if it's been lost or stolen, but they won't refund me until Couriers Please reply to say what they did. I've logged a complaint with the ACCC and Consumer Affairs.

Unreliable
December 20, 2019

Item has been with driver the whole day (after one week waiting a domestic shipping ffs), 10.30pm FRIDAY and still with the driver. Nobody has come (not even to drop the infamous note). Something tells me they lost the package (or stolen)
When i tried to call them during business hours to make sure that it was gonna be delivered today, or they did not call back or they just hang, --- worst customer service ever ---. So unreliable.
Bought an expensive item from MMA Fight Store and when i saw they sent it using Couriers Please i already knew that it was gonna be a problem, is the company standard.

WORST COURIER
January 9, 2018

THE WORST COURIER.

Received a missed delivery notice. Called up and organised for collection as i was about to go to Bali, and would not have time to wait for redelivery. Was told to wait for a message - but that i could pick it up later that day. Message never came.
Next afternoon after waiting on hold for another 20 minutes, I was told I would receive a pickup message again same day. Instead i received a message there was another failed delivery attempt. (no card though, pretty sure was a system error).

I then flew overseas.

When i returned i had another parcel to organise redelivery for through couriers please. I called up, spent 20 minutes on the phone. Asked if i could get both parcels re-delivered together. Was told yes and would receive them later that day. Also told i would receive a call. DID NOT.

Next morning (Tuesday), called again (another wait) was told it would be instead delivered that day. 2nd parcel was, not first. Called again. Told first parcel still ready for collection.

Today (Wednesday) i went to pick up parcel on lunch break. A 40 minute drive later, I press the buzzer repeatedly. No one comes to the door for 10 minutes until i started knocking loudly. Then I received a rude man who informs me my parcel has been returned to sender YESTERDAY. He was very unhelpful and about as incompetent as everyone else ive dealt with there.

Not worth even 1 star
December 12, 2017

These guys have got to be the most incompetent couriers there ever were.
I honestly don't know how they are still in business?
Third time I have booked to pick-up goods from the same address.
The first time it took them 8 business days, with daily follow ups with their ‘customer service specialists'. Second time it was 13 business days. And just this last and final time, 20 days waiting for an answer from management as to why the driver is incapable/refuses? To pick up from an easy, metro address that he's picked up from before.
The replies from their ‘specialists' consists of copy-paste parrot responses at 8pm beginning with ‘Good Morning'. Disregarding your actual queries and just saying ‘sorry, we'll re-book for pick up tomorrow' but each day goes by, you lose business, clients wait and things get delayed. You waste more and more of your time following up, and still nothing happens.
They have completely off-shored all customer service, so no one here in Australia seems to hold these drivers accountable.
Do not use them, pay extra for stress-free, time savvy services instead.

What's the point of a courier service if they can't promise to deliver a package to a location on the day it HAS to be delivered?

I booked a courier for a 9 am pickup which was confirmed by the invoice but still no show at 1 pm with no contact saying why they were late. What's the point of having a pick up time on a booking form if it means nothing? I don't care if the fine print and company line on the phone quotes rules that they can't guarantee same day delivery. What's the point of being a courier service if you can't deliver a package for a paying customer when he needs it delivered?
Wasted my day waiting for no service, waited on hold while waiting for service to be checked only to be told at 1 pm the courier would be there at some point when I needed the parcel delivered an hours drive away in 2 hours.
Terrible service, terrible policy, terrible definition of a courier service.

I purchased a computer value is $3200, the sender put it with couriers please, it was collected on Wednesday, i live 2 hours away, Friday midday i called to see where it was, one girl at Couriers please tells me its been on forwarded to Toll Ipec & gave me a tracking no, so i called Toll, they have no record of it, i called Couriers please back & a different girl tells me its in their depot & will be sent to another carrier & i will get it Monday now, So far its taken from Wednesday till Monday to get an item from Brisbane to Toowoomba & that's IF it arrives on Monday. My opinion, use ANYONE but couriers please.

Dear Couriers Please,

Thanks for the refund!

I am sending you this email as a courtesy because I will post it on review sites that mention your company (and there are a great deal of sites discussing your disgusting service and ethics).

After 11 days of dealing with the worst "courier" company in Australia I reckon I deserve a medal.
Both the owner at the pick-up address and myself have been greatly disadvantaged by the rubbish service that you provide.

I am a trainer and the parcel that was meant to arrive before last Friday was important safety equipment required for a Course that I ran this Monday (7 days after I paid you in full to deliver my parcel from Melbourne to Brisbane). Thanks to you I have now incurred many "out of pocket" expenses for the hire of gear to run my course. Not good enough!

I feel sorry for the poor girls in your call centres that have to deal with the ineptitude that is a cancer in your company. All but one of your ladies in the Brisbane centre have been great, and i have called SEVERAL times and wasted many hours trying to organise to get my package picked-up... Oh wait! Isn't that what I paid YOU to do?

You really need to do a web search for "Couriers Please review" and open your eyes to what you read! It's basically impossible to be rated any lower by your paying customers.

I've been lied to and told rubbish all the way through.

The courier tried on Thursday and Friday but nobody home when he buzzed! I have pictures of the package outside the front door every day so he would have to step over it to knock on the door (there is no door bell)

The courier will go again on Thursday evening to pick-up the parcel. Owner home, parcel outside door... no show by Couriers Please.

One of your call centre ladies tried to make excuses and tell me the address isn't good enough! Pizza guys, Australia Post and other couriers have been using the same address successfully, so why can't your company successfully use it? $#*!ed service from non-concerned company!

I have once before been involved with your company and the experience was also very poor. It was by accident that I paid for your services on this occasion, but I will never make the same mistake again.

Couriers Please are a dead loss. CONSUMER BEWARE. Do not use this company.

It took 12 days to bring a parcel from Sydney to Bendigo, every time I rang they assured me it would arrive by 5pm the following night, but no one showed the slightest concern, or even seemed to care that it had taken so long, maybe because this is normal for this company!
