I ordered some xmas presents onlline form Target, they use couriersplease as a delivery agent.
I received a message on the day of delivery saying they will attempt delivery today, i was at work so could not accept the delivery. They left a redelivery card.
A few days later i tried to book redelivery, the website claimed the time to book redelivery was expired. I lodged a written request for redelivery.
I had not received a response 3 days later so i called (had to google the phone number as its not available anywhere on the site) - i waited on the line for 45 minutes, when i spoke to an operator they said they will ask the driver to redeliver and lodge a 'case' (whatever that means)
Again a few days had passed and i had not received the package or a response to my written communication, so i called back and the operator again called the driver, advised me the package was with the driver and they asked the driver to call me when he was going to redeliver. They again lodged a 'case'
A week passes, still have not received any communication about my parcel, i call again (each time the wait time on hold was over 30 mins) - they tell me again they will call the driver etc ect - the parcel is with the driver in the drivers bacy etc ect - lodged another 'case (laughable at this point)
Today i receive a response to my written query, over 2 weeks afte ri lodged it. Advising me the package has been returned to send? Umm wtf. I tried to respond to the email but it was from a 'do not reply' address - so now i have no way of actually trying to figure out what has happened or to receive my package.
So basically, i ordered something online, the company tried to deliver one time, then took the parcel to their warehouse and eventually returned to sender, even though i was trying this whole time to book a redelivery time or pick up the parcel with no success.
Such a horrible company. They make online shopping haard. Every other delivery service make it easy, i receive my packages in a timely manner and if i'm not home they leave then or take them to the post office and i can retrieve the next day. This company is horrid and i wont shop anywhere that uses them! And i warn anyone trying to use them as a delivery service to think twice. Absolute nightmare to get a receive delivery.
I WOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN THEM ANY STARS BUT YOU NEED TO CLICK SOMETHING OR THE REVIEW WONT BE SUBMITTED.
ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE COURIER COMPANY I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS.
YOU CAN NEVER GET ONTO THEM WHEN YOU CALL THEIR 1300 NUMBER. THE NUMBER IS EITHER CONSTANTLY ENGAGED OR IF YOU'RE LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET THROUGH THEY HANG UP ON YOU.
WHEN YOU DO GET THROUGH IT'S A 20-30 MINUTE WAIT BEFOR ANYBODY ANSWERS THE CALL, THEN IT'S USUALLY SOMEBODY WHO DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH YOUR PROBLEM SO THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD FOR ANOTHER 5-10 MINUTES SO THAT THEY CAN SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR AND THEN YOU ASK THEM ANOTHER QUESTIONS AND THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD AGAIN, AND SO ON AND SO FORTH.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE REDELIVERY OF MY ORDER WHICH HAD TO ARRIVE BEFORE 11:00AM ON 8 DECEMBER BUT DIDN'T BECAUSE ALTHOUGH THEY COLLECTED FIVE BOXES FROM THE SENDER THEY WERE INCAPABLE OF KEEPING THE BOXES TOGETHER AS ONE ORDER, SO TWO BOXES SCANNED TO THE DEPOT ON 7 DECEMBER AND THE OTHER THREE ON 8 DECEMBER. HOW USELESS ARE THEY BECAUSE THEY ONLY HAD TWO BOXES ON THE TRUCK WHEN THEY SAY THEY TRIED TO DELIVER THE ORDER ON 7 DECEMBER (I WAS HERE - NO ONE RANG THE DOORBELL)!
ANOTHER REDELIVERY WAS ORGANISED FOR MON 11 DEC BEFORE 11:00AM SO I CALLED YET AGAIN TO DOUBLE CHECK AND GUESS WHAT... THEY DON'T KNOW WHERE MY BOXES ARE AND I ONLY DISCOVERED THIS WHEN I FINALLY GOT ONTO AN OPERATOR WHO ACTUALLY CARED AND WAS DOING HER JOB PROPERLY. IT WAS SIMPLY TO DIFFICULT FOR THE FIRST OPERATOR I SPOKE TO, BECAUSE WHEN I ASKED TO BE PUT THROUGH TO A SUPERVISOR OR MANAGER, UNBEKNOWNST TO ME, SHE SIMPLY PUT ME BACK INTO THE QUEUE AND I HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER 20 MINUTES!
ITS NOW TUE 12 DEC AND I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED MY GOODS.
I KNOW IT'S CHRISTMAS AND THAT IT'S A BUSY TIME OF THE YEAR BUT THIS HAPPENS EVERY YEAR AND ANY PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS WOULD KNOW THIS AND PUT SYSTEMS AND PROCEDURES IN PLACE TO DEAL WITH THIS SITUATION INSTEAD OF USING IT AS AN EXCUSE.
THIS IS THE THIRD DELIVERY I THAT THE SENDER HAS BOOKED THROUGH COURIERS PLEASE AND I'VE HAD A PROBLEM WITH EVERY SINGLE DELIVERY DUE TO THEIR INCOMPETENCE. I HAVE REQUESTED THAT THE SENDER USE ANOTHER COURIER COMPANY FOR ALL MY FUTURE DELIVERIES.
SHAME ON YOU COURIERS PLEASE!
Ordered goods online from a company who use CouriersPlease for the Darwin leg of the delivery. This outfit is so badly organised with just 2 people running the show in Darwin. Living in an apartment, couriers generally can't be bothered to ring the buzzer for access so generally leave a card in the post box so I wasn't surprised. However, when I tried to arrange a redelivery via the website, I entered my daughter in laws address as she is generally at home. I confirmed the details and thought that was it. Several days later there was no sign of a parcel so I contacted Customer Services. The person I spoke to sounded like he had just got out of bed, mumbled all the way through the conversation and I eventually gathered that you can't opt to change the delivery address even though the website doesn't say so!
The operator advised that the form was a general contact form and not for changing the delivery address and when I suggested that it was still poor service as no-one had come back to me so they clearly weren't monitoring this form his response was a very lack lustre "sorry".
He then advised that I could pick up from the depot but only between the hours of 7:30 - 8:30am. The depot is on an industrial estate not on a bus route and out of town away from where I live and as I start work at that time, is not an option for me. So I gave in and requested that it be delivered in 2 days time. I asked if there was any indication of the time it would be delivered as I didn't want ot take a whole day off work and was advised 3:18pm? When I suggested that was a very specific time he said that he didn't really know but that was the time they tried to deliver before! Hopeless! He said he would contact the driver and call me back. Guess what? Two days later no call or email - nothing.
So I call again and this time get through to a coherent chap who was empathetic and went through my options i. E. pick up or wait in all day. I voiced my dissatisfaction and asked why delivery wasn't occurring as agreed with the other guy and why he did not call me back as promised and apparently nobody knows! In the end he arranged to have it delivered to my work and as a "favour" they would call me when they were on their way so that I could be outside to collect the parcel. I'm a pretty tolerant person and understand that things go wrong sometimes but these items were for a wedding on the weekend so it was essential that I had them. All I can say in regards to this mob is CouriersNoThankYou!
