Ordered a shirt online 6/2/22, item clearly stated 'in stock'. On 6/23 I still had not received my order, or received any email updates. I called customer service to find out the item has been out of stock and will not be re-stocked! I told them to cancel the order immediately and remove my name from future mailings. This is the second time I've had this exact same problem with them. Done with CC!
Have bought from Coldwater Creek for over a decade, always assured that what I ordered fit well, and was of excellent quality. But my last two orders, I see slippage in quality, and in sizing. I ordered a pair of jeans in size 16P. I must have 15 other pairs of pants and jeans from Coldwater Creek in that size that I wear all the time. Well, when I got the jeans, they were so small I could not even begin to try on. I also ordered a dress, and that was way too small as well. So very sad that a company that I could always trust for fit and quality has gone downhill. I called customer service, and asked if there had been a change in their sizing measurements. The lady I spoke to (who barely spoke English) had no idea, nor any contact she could provide who would know. I know they went Chapter 11 in 2020, and then started back up again, and seemed fine. But they were actually bought out by a company. In September 2020, Coldwater Creek's inventory and intellectual property assets were acquired in a $12.2 million deal with Hong Kong procurement company Newtimes Group. Coldwater Creek's new website went live on December 12,2020, and Newtimes plans to relaunch its catalog, as well.
I've been a customer for years. Loved their clothes. Recently placed a large order. My credit card was charged but I have received nothing. I've tried and tried to get someone at Coldwater Creek to answer the phone or respond to me email with no success. This is not the Coldwater Creek of years past. They lost a customer.
A great deal of my wardrobe is coldwater creek but I don't even look at their website anymore. The actual quality of their clothes is above average but customer service is absolutely terrible! If you order something you probably will not receive it until the next season...several months later. And if you make a return be sure to keep all records pertaining to that return because you will never get credited for it unless you call then a couple of months later and they will need the order number tracking number and everything else. Then if you are lucky you will get credited 2 or more weeks later. So v regardless of the quality it isn't worth the multiple headaches you go thru when you purchase from them...
The worst customer service ever! I have just gotten off the phone after a 32 minute 44 second call, trying to get my credit card # removed. They told me the IRS permits credit cards to be kept on file for 7 years! I have never heard anything like this! The rep refused to transfer me to a supervisor.
First off, quality is poor for the price you pay. Second I received 3 of 5 items ordered with no tracking info on the other two. I tried to contact them but no phone number is available for customer service. I emailed them twice with NO Response. So are they just not going to send me my other two items? I recommend to anyone thinking about a purchase from them, DON'T!
CC uses a very low budget shipper and tracking your purchase will be near impossible. It will take weeks to get your order. Any contact with them will be scripted or if you email you will receive a form response. No real help. When I finally asked for a refund after waiting forever for my order and no one could say where it was, they told me I was not eligible for a refund unless I returned the purchase I never received. I am completely done with them. My order is yet to be resolved after a month of waiting.
Tried to work with them as they got my state address wrong, my state is way down the line. They also didn't include a zip code. After talking with one of the receiving shippers I found out the tracking # is untraceable. I reported this to my credit card and the charge was not shown as of yet. It is noted on record. This package will never reach me and will never order from this source again
Now that Coldwater Creek is only an online retailer, they are just AWFUL. There ordering system will say something is in stock and it is not and when you call, all you get is "oh, sorry for that". They say they will address it but they do not and then the best answer: "It's really hard to have a system that keeps up with orders and the warehouse". Are you kidding me?!?!?! You cannot be an online retailer if you don't have the basics down. Too bad. They used to be worth the extra money.
I am a customer and have been for years. I recently found a gift card for the store for $175. Coldwater Creek not only won't accept it because they are under new ownership. They never bothered to send out a memo/email saying that they were no longer going to accept gift cards, and give their customers an opportunity to use them up. Not only is this wrong and unlawful, it is actual theft. Gift cards are basically money. I have had numerous emails with their customer service department. At no time did they try to rectify the issue or offer an added discount to smooth over the fact that I'm out $175. However, they continue to refer to me as a "valued customer". I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and while I was filing my complaint, I saw that there is quite a catalog of complaints regarding Coldwater Creek Customer Service. I am very unhappy with their business practices, and surprised that they are still in business.
Before you make a purchase with Coldwater Creek, I would think twice….it appears that there are many customers, unhappy with how they deal with issues of return, exchanges, as well as complaints.

My work wardrobe in the past was from CWC so I tried again. Horrible clothing - nothing like what they used to be.
Also, they steal your money. I returned over $215 worth of clothing using their return label and tracking shows they received on 8/3/22. On 8/24/22 I called asking where refund was and was told will take an additional 14 days under expedited processing - what about from 8/3 the actual day they received the merch? I called back on 9/9/22 and was told that it should hit my account within 5 business days!
Updated 9/29/22: on 9/11/22 received a letter from CWC that they refunded money to my CC and on 9/28 I called again since my CC still doesn't have the $$! It has been 8 weeks and I believe CWC is going bankrupt and has no intention of refunding my money for merchandise I returned on 8/3/22!
After receiving shipment in the middle of June, only one item fit properly. I returned the remaining three items in the prepaid label bag the next very next day, for credit. As of this date, I have not heard anything. I have tried to contact customer service and got nowhere, as they hung up on me. I only wish I had looked for online reviews before I ordered.
I got a gift card as a gift and because the "old" company went bankruptcy now the gifts cards are now valid but they have the same name and website. I don't think this "new" company will stay in business for so long with that customer service. I talked to an old grumpy lady and she was horrible. DO NOT SHOP HERE! They may go away anytime without sending orders.
I ordered a dress on June 4. Still waiting for it. Every time I check the website it's another two weeks. Right now it says August 4. All the summer events I was going to wear it for are now passed. At this point I may not cancel it just to see how long it takes. Wager anyone? Don't order from this company.
I ordered over $500 worth of clothes from Coldwater Creek and returned all but one thing shortly after they were received. It's been almost 3 weeks since I mailed the return and I have not heard from them, cannot reach anyone on the phone and they haven't responded to 2 emails. And to top it off I just received word that they have shipped something to me and they charged my credit card. I have not ordered anything else! Anyone have any suggestions?
I ordered a shirt from them recently. It is too small but is labeled with the same size as ALL tops I buy. I was going to return it, but discovered in very small print, NOT on the page I ordered from, that if it is marked final sale OR ends in $. 97 it cannot be returned.
That is a very sneaky way of doing business. Each item ought to be labeled as non-refundable, not have that info hidden in small print on another page. I only ordered it because it was a fair price, and would never pay the full price. Their clothes are way OVERPRICED! Do not buy Coldwater Creek. I just saw they are closed! 7-28-2020
Untruthful discounts, mis-marked sizes (literally), sky high shipping, no response to emails, no answer to phone calls. The last time I tried to talk with someone, it said my hold time was 2 minutes. I gave up after 25 minutes. You can't interact with them. Terrible company ever since it was bought by someone else.
Does anyone else have this issue? I ordered 2 items and as of March 1st they haven't moved on the tracker. I finally got through to someone at the company and they lied and told me it was at the post office for me to pick up. I had just been there and the tracker didn't indicate that either. I went to the post office and they typed in the tracking number I was given and told me the package was waiting to be received by the post office. The status hasn't changed in 3 weeks and when I emailed customer service they sent me the same useless tracking number. Yes, I get that you created a tracking label. The problem is that no one has given that package to the Pat office so they can deliver it to me. Tomorrow I'm calling my credit card company and reversing the charge. They can use their tracking number to route the package back to themselves. This company was sold to someone else at the end of November 2020. I'm guessing they are just keeping people's money at this point.
I ordered a silver bracelet from Cold Water Creek. It looked quite nice in the pictures in the catalog and the website. It was a very cheap piece of poor quality. I wrote to customer service and they thanked me for my interest in the product.
Why is it a retailer makes it easier to place an order than it is to return the items? I am spoiled by the ease in which Amazon provides user-friendly purchases and returns. Coldwater is still using the return form on the back of their shipping receipt. They have had my return for several days now, but Customer No Service requires the shipping number from the package to be able to give me any updates on the return. I made a large purchase from Coldwater in hopes of finding the right outfit for a wedding. I found a beautiful blouse but returned all the other options. Had I known the length of time from start to finish to handle this transaction, I would have never opted for this retailer for my shopping needs.

Customer service will then send you 2 emails, one is a shipping label. Do include your orginal shipping insert (take a pic of it) with the return items highlighted along with the Return Form filled out with the SKU/Style of each item you are returning. Best of luck
