Why is it a retailer makes it easier to place an order than it is to return the items? I am spoiled by the ease in which Amazon provides user-friendly purchases and returns. Coldwater is still using the return form on the back of their shipping receipt. They have had my return for several days now, but Customer No Service requires the shipping number from the package to be able to give me any updates on the return. I made a large purchase from Coldwater in hopes of finding the right outfit for a wedding. I found a beautiful blouse but returned all the other options. Had I known the length of time from start to finish to handle this transaction, I would have never opted for this retailer for my shopping needs.
I purchased knit denim jeans. They were very expensive and shipping was almost 20% of the cost. I posted a negative review of the jeans and said I would not recommend them and that shipping was too high in this day and age. They would not post my review although I followed all the guidelines of posting a review. Of course I can't return the jeans because they have been washed. Their shipping charges, policies and general customer service are outdated. Since you can't go to a store anymore to try anything on you take an expensive chance trying their clothes.
I ordered some clothing for a trip 5 weeks ago. I ordered via phone to be sure the items would be shipped in time for my trip, which was a month away. I was told that each item was in stock and ready to be shipped. My trip is over and the items are marked to be shipped 6 weeks from the order date. Every time I check the shipping date, it is moved out further. In addition to my items not being shipped, the customer service person repeatedly tried to hard sell me on some kind of special credit card with a monthly fee. I declined three times before she finally just agreed to order my items, reassuring me they were ready to be shipped. I should have known this was a shady company based on her behavior. Never again. Ugh.
When I ordered I never even got an email response. Strange for an online-only store.) I did, however, see a charge on my charge card. After a month I was getting 'Thanks for your order' emails, but had not gotten the merchandise I had ordered. I called to find out what had happened and they said that the item was out of stock, but could not give me a date when the charges had been reversed. After some conversation the customer service rep offered to take me off of their email list. I said ok. That never happened. I am still getting emails from them. Why shop from a place like this?
Coldwater Creek confirmed that they received my returned item on 9.25.23, yet they insist that they need to "investigate" over 7-10 days to make sure it is approved for a refund? What in the world! Then, once approved, they'll credit your payment method in another 3-5 days. All in all, over a month since I returned the item. I will no longer buy from this company.
Horrible, inaccessible customer service. Purchased on 6/2 with charge on card. 6/3 they again charged my card without my permission. After 50 min wait for call back, 23 min wait after called back woman with thick accent lied to me and pretended to connect me to supervisor. Had to cancel card as unable to get satisfactory understanding on why they needed to charge different amounts on this card. Horrible business practices- watch your credit cards when you use them!
I have been trying for 10 days to reach Coldwater Creek's customer service. The automated phone service basically hangs up on you! I am wondering if this is a bigger issue? Is anyone else having this same issue?
This is my first purchase from the "new" Coldwater Creek. I used to shop at the previous version. The person on the phone seemed really confused by my asking to exchange for a different size. Decided to stop the attempt to exchange and just return everything when it got to the point where I was 90% sure that there was no way this was going to work out. Just frustrating.
I placed an order one week ago with Coldwater Creek, as I was pleased with my previous purchase the month before. I ordered one week ago and have never received a shipping verification. However, $117.10 was paid out of my account 4 days later. Two days now I have not been able to open my account or anything on their site. This morning I called, and said that my item had shipped, but would still be 4-8 days before delivery. I ordered these items to take on my vacation which is in 5 days. He said they were located in Pennsylvania, and I am in Florida. How does that take another week for delivery if they have shipped. Will not be ordering from this company again. I will not recommend this company to anyone!
I ordered a shirt and a yellow sweater. Shirt was perfection but sweater not so much. Sent back sweater to be exchanged for a different yellow top at exactly the same price. Filled out paperwork as required. Never got the top. Later ordered jeans and Tencel blue pants. Jeans were great, pants (same size as jeans) too small. Called to exchange sizes and was told FINAL SALE meant no exchange even if only change is the size. How could that possibly matter? Unless the next size up was sold out, why compromise me in that way? How could it possibly be a loss to you? It is a loss to me, unless I manage to lose about six pounds.

They don't care to satisfy their customers. I ordered a pair of shorts. These shorts had never been worn and are still in their catalog. I put them in my closet and when I got them out to wear, I found they were too big. They won't exchange them for me because it's been over 90 days. I'm stuck with a pair of their shorts that I can't wear. Another company I ordered from, even though it had been over 90 days, was glad to exchange for me.
Just got fall cat though I stopped buying years ago when they had all the shakeups and stopped selling great clothes. They used to have amazing clothes, jewelry etc; then some new buyer with zero taste started offering boring, ugly outfits from someone's basement apparently. Just awful. I would check back periodically, but still ugly. This new cat shows some change, but sorry; I do not trust this store or brand anymore. They'll go belly up again. Soft Surroundings and local boutiques for me now.
Very disappointing. Low quality, poorly made, wasn't surprised when I checked the label and saw "Made in China". America has really lost it's good quality clothing because everything is coming from China. I just don't know what to say. Sigh!
Be careful of accepting free shipping on orders. It becomes a reoccurring charge on your credit card monthly at $14.99. When I called to question the charges, asked to be refunded and have this service turned off, I was met with sarcasm and impatience. It seemed suspect to me, even though they said, I filled out all the appropriate information! I will never order from Coldwater Creek again!
Whatever I filled out, did not clearly explain, or indicate that I would have a recurring charge every month… it's more than Amazon Prime.
I returned a demin shirt to Coldwater Creek and the records show it was delivered but I have not been refunded as of 7/8/2020. I cannot reach anyone by phone and their automated reply is that they are short-staffed and to call back later. Well, I've been calling for over a week and finally sent an email which of course has gone unanswered yet they continue to send emails to me to purchase from them. Guess what? I will never do business with Coldwater Creek again. Called their headquarters and there was no answer there too. Terrible business model and now we know why they went out of business in 2014. They should of stayed away.
Apparently I haven't been paying attention. I shopped this brand- only occasionally- years ago and did not realize that they had gone out of business, and then returned. They shouldn't have bothered. Just received recent order and the stuff hurts. I mean ACTUALLY hurts to have on my skin. Couldn't pull it off fast enough. How are they allowed to call their fabrics cotton? Just wanted a tee and a tank, but what I got was a rash waiting to happen. I've never felt even poly blends that are this nasty. And here's a clue I missed, there are no reviews. That's how I found this thread. After a quick skim it occurs to me that I may never get a refund from this ghastly company but I'm returning them anyway. Optimistic, maybe, but at least they'll be out of my house.
Ever since the company reopened under new ownership, the quality has sharply declined, the prices are higher than ever, sizing is crazily inconsistent, and customer service is wretched (except in the stores). The only reason I still shop there is because they carry pants that fit me well AND come in tall sizes. But I have to order 3 sizes of every pair of pants, even if I've tried that style before! I might need a size 12 in one color and a 16 in another color, both in the exact same style of pant! I recently had to cancel a back order and couldn't log into their website because I'd forgotten my password. The password-retrieval option didn't work, either. I called CS and waited on hold for *20* minutes, listening to the same horrible country western song repeating on endless loop. The CS rep did take care of it but I will be very reluctant ever to order from them again.

Apparently, "relaxed fit" means 3 sizes too large. I ordered Petite Medium, and the tops were swimming on me: bizarrely wide by several extra inches on each side, many inches too long (and not advertised as "tunic length"), etc. Ugh. Very disappointing. Also non-returnable as final sales. I intentionally washed them in hot water and put them in a hot dryer to try to shrink them (they were all linen/cotton blends), and they were_still_ huge, not even close to what "relaxed fit" is from other shops. I'd felt it was worth a try because of the great sale prices and pretty colors/styles, but will not be ordering from CC again.
Ordered a shirt in June of 2022. I ordered it because they SAID it was in stock. Fast forward to September of 2022…still no delivery. Looked at the current catalog that came in, there's the same shirt being advertised, and online it said it was in stock. I cancelled my order. I've been a loyal shopper of this company for many years but I will NEVER buy from them again. Once the stores shut down…the online shopping has been horrendous. Save your frustration and buy anywhere else.
Ordered over $270 dollars worth of clothing, and some of the items showed shipping at a future date. The items that did ship are taking forever to receive! When I order something, I want to receive it in the season to which I ordered it! After all, the price you pay for shipping things snail mail, you could have shipped it by UPS, or FedEx, and received it in just a few days!

Customer service will then send you 2 emails, one is a shipping label. Do include your orginal shipping insert (take a pic of it) with the return items highlighted along with the Return Form filled out with the SKU/Style of each item you are returning. Best of luck
