I ordered 2 items last Thursday, paid extra for 2-day shipping, as of today (Monday) it has not arrived. Told by customer service representative that "Friday was considered part of the weekend." Was counting on this outfit for an event tomorrow. So far just stonewalled by the "customer service representatives." This company used to be great. Sorry to see it change.
I purchased a pair of knit denim cropped jeans that split along the back pocket seam. It appeared that the needle stitches were so close together it broke the fibers. I phoned CC Customer Service. The first time they couldn't find my order and promised to call back in 48 hours. -- No call. A week later I phoned again, stated the problem and was told that CC would not take back the pants because I wore them. I wanted an exchange. There was no reasoning with them. The product was defective. I paid $73.95 (includes shipping and handling) for a pair of knit denim crop jeans that wore no more than 4 times. Stay away from CC. I will never buy another item from them.
You probably already know that the old Coldwater Creek went bankrupt and was purchased a year or two later by a larger company. They have apparently decided not to re-open the retail stores, and to sell only on line. I was pretty turned off by the initial catalogs that I was sent - the clothing appeared to be much less stylish and more 'matronly' than anything I'd want to wear (even tho I am retired and in my mid 60's). However, in the past 6 months, the style has improved, the variety of offerings has increased, and I think we might start to see better clothing. I've now gone ahead to order, and, while the consistency is still a bit of a problem, the quality is beginning to return to that of the 'old' Coldwater Creek. I've scored some really good purchases, and now look forward to seeing what their new catalogs have to offer.
I went online today to ColdwaterCreek.com today to shop sale items. The website said 60% off sale and that sounded good to me. I spent probably 2 hours and selected 19 items to consider before deciding which ones I wanted. I tried to order and it would not go through. I called them directly and spoke to someone and then a supervisor without any satisfaction. It seems the sale was only through Labor Day but their website said nothing about that. In looking for complaints online, there are 222 reviews with only 1 1/2 stars out of 5 possible. I would suggest you not waste your time trying to order anything from them.
This is my second and last purchase using Coldwater Creek catalog.
After having similar problem with my first order couple of months ago, I gave another chance thinking that it might be just a "bad day" with on line ordering.
This time, again, putting the entire order in, including payment information etc, twice - it stopped again on "review the order" again.
I called the customer service and received information that it's some type of "glitch" in the system. My question is: how long this problem is not being corrected? Is the Company of Coldwater Creek interesting in selling their items on line, or in general?
I hate to put bad reviews, because you have good quality clothes, but it was an ordeal to buy the item I finally had to itemized and spelled on the phone to the cusomer service agent.
I ordered three items from Coldwater Creek. I never received the order. The post office returned the order to CoIdwater Creek. I telephoned several times, then: "We are looking into it. Call us back Monday." Monday: "We can give you a definitive answer on Friday." Friday: "I" the supervisor said, "will call you back next Wednesday." RIGHT!
I think their run-around is indicative of not only extremely poor customer service but also of a cash strapped company needing a slush fund to carry on financially from month to month. Prove me wrong Coldwater Creek! Give me my refund.
I am always attracted to several things when I browse the catalog but really, $90. For a top?! I thought maybe their clothing is something special for prices like this but the quality is the same as any department store. Why rip people off. Not worth the crazy high prices.
I had been a customer for over 15 years and spent thousands between stores and online. I ordered a dress 6 weeks before my nieces wedding. 2 weeks later I was sent wrong dress - wrong style, wrong color and wrong size. Within 5 minutes of opening package, I called their 800 number and was told that the correct dress would arrive in 15 days. 15 days later I had to send 12 emails to find out where my dress was. Then they tell me that they no longer have it available and they didn't receive my return from 15 days prior. No apology, no attempt to get me another dress on time, not even an coupon. Really, why would I ever order from them again.
It showed a jacket was shipped. Tights were shipped. Big difference. Customer service told us to send it back and charge again for the jacket then they would credit me back after I paid twice for the jacket. Sounded very crooked! Who does that?
I ordered a jacket more than 7 weeks ago. I received a camisole instead. I called customer service to get the jacket. It was out of stock, so tough luck on the jacket. I sent the camisole back 6 weeks ago, followed up with an email request for my refund after 3 weeks. Was told it wasn't yet "showing up" as a return, that I had to wait for 10 to 14 business days after the warehouse received it. Still waiting. This is unbelievable. Too bad, because their merchandise seems nice, but not worth this hassle.
NOTE: Once Leanne became involved, I did receive my refund, six weeks after I returned the merchandise. While relieved to get my money back, I'm sticking with the one-star rating.
After being on hold for over an hour the nasty rep tells me she can't help me because my order is multiple shipments and very confusing for her. She would have to have someone call me back but because they are so busy she doesn't know when. They double charged my bank account for items that shes telling me haven't even shipped yet. I will never order again!

I ordered a blouse back in February, and returned it because it wasn't at all as described. I'm still waiting for a refund. They're unable to track because, "Unfortunately, we do not have records for the tracking numbers on return labels that are put on the insides of packages, only for the outgoing packages. We will simply have to wait for your return to arrive." Unacceptable and unbelievable. Yeah, this business has sure gone downhill, and I'll never use them again.
There is no reason not to have a threshold for receiving free shipping. I will neither pay for shipping nor waste my time hunting down nickel and dime promo codes. I will never shop here again. When I asked for free shipping on a $200+ order. The chat bot asked me what promo code I had. After a lengthy back and forth conversation, the bot informed me there are no active promo codes at this time (late October). Um, couldn't it have given me that information earlier? What a waste of a formerly strong brand. Also, the bot suggested I call "brand specialist" to get a discount. So this person's job is about the brand, not about serving the customer? Colossal failure of service quality and communication.
Horrible, horrible. Will take months to receive your order. They cancel things and do not email you about it. They do not notify of shipment. Do not notify that returns have been received. No communication. Website never reflects out of stock items. This company deserves to go out of business asap. I could go on. Save your energy for other things and shop elsewhere.
If I could rate as a zero, I would. The order arrived damaged. Coldwater Creek KNEW it was damaged, because someone tied a knot in the broken string. I sent an email, with a picture, as well as a separate message, asking for the item to be replaced immediately because I had ordered if for a trip and needed it. No response, not even an acknowledgement. I called. I explained the problem. And was told to return the item using the process on the website. I objected to paying the return shipping fee for something that arrived damaged. This became a point of discussion. I asked for a supervisor. But I was told no-one was available. They finally offered to give me a code so that I would not have to pay for return shipping. I again asked to speak to a supervisor. Then I was told that "because I have already resolved the problem, I cannot escalate it to a higher level". I will never order anything from Coldwater Creek again. I will never buy a product from Coldwater Creek again. NOT because the article arrived damaged, but because of the way that they handled the problem.
Tried them again…. Took longer this time to get my credit… 3 calls, and they tried to tell me I didn't return all the items. 4 months later I finally got my money back for returns. Most companies will email a verification they received the items when you return items…. Not this one, you have to realize you didn't get your credit (if you remember) and call them for it. Not ordering from them again! DONE

In the last six months I have ordered two pairs of pants, neither of which when delivered, were as pictured in the catalog or online. One pair of pants was pictured as having buttons on the outer seam of each leg, and the other pair of pants was pictured as having a zippered pocket just below the waist band. These details were lacking in the products they shipped. At best, the marketing/production processes are sloppy and use old photographs. At worst, this is a deceptive business practice intended to cheat the customer. Either way, this does not indicate a customer-focused business. Sad.
The people have not been the problem. The problem is clearly the process.
1. Online orders inconsistently acknowledged by email.
2. No shipment notification of shipment. Instead you only see a charge to your account.
3. Once charged, it is a waiting game. Current order was backordered. Account charged Oct. 1. Called today, Oct 13. Given a tracking number that indicates Fedex is just now creating the label.
4. Heaven forbid a catalog item needs to be returned. In the store they need to call catalog. Did so 9/29. On today's call took 30+ minutes before assurance I will finally see credit in 3-5 days. We will see

The catalog shows what appears to be high quality merchandise, along with very high prices. It took me several orders to realize that the quality did not warrant the high prices (even when the item I liked was on sale). The sweaters are very thin and loose shape quickly. I'm removing my name from the catalog list. Very disappointed.

To keep sweaters from losing their shape, store them folded rather than hanging them up. When you wash them, wash on gentle cycle or hand wash them. Do not wring them to dry, rather place the wet sweater on a towel and roll the towel up to squeeze out excess moisture. Lay flat to dry.

I return 2 items that did not fit. I have been trying for over a month to receive the refund. I have called 4 times and told each time to give them some more time. Totally unacceptable.! This will likely be the last time I ever order from them.
Answer: Hiya Jane, Give their customer service a call, the number should be in your confirmation email (don't try to find it on their website). Customer service will then send you 2 emails, one is a shipping label. Do include your orginal shipping insert (take a pic of it) with the return items highlighted along with the Return Form filled out with the SKU/Style of each item you are returning. Best of luck
