Watch out. They will hit your cards even multiple times and everything is backordered even by as long as 2 mos. Then you come to find out even at that date more time will be needed and heaven forbid you make a return... takes at least a month. I have yet to see my account credited and clothes quality is negligible plus sizes are huge!
I placed an order for 4 items on Feb 5,2017. I received one item quickly. I then received two more items and both were sent back for refund. I have now been waiting for my refund for 4 weeks and no refund as of yet. I cancelled my last order via e-mail and phone and yet the website still says they will ship it. I am so frustrated with their poor customer service and the wait time on items to be shipped. I will not do business with Coldwater Creek again.
I ordered three items in late June. I received one. When I tried to call today about the other two, the message said they were closed (I clearly called during business hours) and the customer service line mailbox was full. Too bad, they used to be a great company. I did get a catalog today. Buyer Beware. I certainly wouldn't order anything...
My order number EO*******, Customer service is trying to brush me off, as if I say I never received the package, and the tracking number claims in box mailing, the postman claims that can also mean near the box, or above the box. I have been doing business them for 4(four) years, and even a return. Why won't they honor this loss they select the companies to make deliveries and charge you.
Sent two items back for exchange to different size. Was charged a return shipping fee which they refuse to refund. They had computer problems, so they couldn't even look up my original order for two weeks. Are trying to charge me full price for the exchange, when I had a discount on the original order. Totally ripping off their clients. Was told their supervisors were too busy to talk to me at this time but they would call me. Just like thieves in the night.
I placed an order last week and noticed that it came up on my charge twice. The first charge was for the total amount. The next 2 charges were the items charged separately. Then there was a charge for a 0 amount. I called to tell them i was double charged. I talked to 2 different people and they said it would "fall off" in a 4-6 days. I was furious that they obviously double charged me and would not take it off. I noticed the next day it was off my charge. I will not be ordering anything from Coldwater Creek again because of this. People better check their charges. It hasn't happened every time I have ordered from them so I think someone just slipped up. Good thing I noticed this or I would be out a few hundred dollars. Check your charge!
CWC recently changed their return policy. I can understand that but now, when you are returning some items back to their stores, their employees' attitudes changed significantly. I returned one item at its last day and the employee was grilling me why I have waited so long, with an attitude. This was never the case before and their employees used to be much more friendlier.
Also, for a short period they started charging $1 for their jewellery boxes and I thought it was outrageous that they were trying to make money like that. They stopped that shortly afterwards but this shows me that the company is changing from what they used to be before and it is really sad as it was one of my favorite!
A few months ago (early 2022), I was excited when I learned that Coldwater Creek was back in business.
The website pictured comparable styles and options that I associated with the Coldwater Creek brand and I happily ordered a few spring items.
Then the problems began... It took a few weeks to receive the first items and several more weeks (two months+) for other items. Some items had quality issues, other items were not was pictured or described.
It's very disappointing but I will not be buying from this Coldwater Creek knockoff in the future!
Waited five days for two day express shipping I paid extra for.
I was told that I gave wrong ZIP code. I asked how my card was charged with wrong ZIP? Said it was corrected before shipping.
I said dress order is now 23% off!
The only adjustment she would give me was $5 for the two day shipping! This for a customer who spent over $300 just last month!
Think it's time to give my business to other companies.
I just bought several items at the Coldwater Creek sale, they were marked final sale, no returns or exchanges. I called customer service hoping that I could exchange for a size that would actually fit me, their response was "NO." I have bought their plus size clothing for years, but recently their sizing is all over the place. I was drowning in a size 2X when in the past a size 2X fit me perfectly. I followed their sizing instructions and still the clothing did not fit. I am sick of dealing with this company, their clothing is always overpriced and buying them on sale makes for a reasonable price which is what Coldwater Creek should actually be selling them for. I have bought lovely clothing from online sales at high end department stores and when they haven't fit I've been allowed to exchange the item. Coldwater Creek will not make it if they don't change their pricing and sale practices. Signed a former Coldwater Creek shopper.
I have ordered quite a few things on Coldwater Creek's site. I have ordered the same jacket twice. And both times, I was charged repeatedly and still have no coat. Both times I was told they were out of stock when I ordered them the same day their email came out! I gave up and ordered from LL Bean. I cannot find past orders on my login page. The way they do business is odd, and their clothes are expensive. I would instead do business elsewhere.
I returned several items with prepaid label. Tracking showed they received my items Aug 29. I contacted them looking for refund on 9/12. Said it takes at least 2 weeks to process returns. What? On Sept 14 I got my refund, 16 days after they received the items.
I ordered several items online in the final sale. I immediately received an email confirmation of my order. After 3 weeks, I sent an email asking for status. I received a "Cancellation Status" email, informing me that every single item I had ordered had been cancelled. I have no idea if they would ever have let me know if I hadn't reached out first. Why even let the items make it to my cart to order? And now the company is closed? If they make a comeback, avoid like the plague!
I purchased the All Season Coat in late October of 2022. By the end of March 2023, the lowest snap failed. The company did NOT stand behind their product. I was told they have a strict 90 return policy. However, I wasn't trying to "return" an item, I want and deserve a replacement for a defective product.
I bought something, it did not fit, I returned it the next day. I'm a month now waiting on a refund. The service is AWFUL, it takes days to get a return email. Then they ask for documentation. THEY PROVIDE the label for UPS! They must be going out of business; once upon a time, it was a quality company. It is no longer. The quality of the clothes has dipped, and the service is not there at all. Horrible company, just sitting on your money!
I ordered several items. One was back-ordered until 11/26. Well here it is 12/20 and I still have not hear back from them about the item. Is it being shipped or not. I sent at least 4 emails and have not heard anything. This is very poor customer service. At least let me know what is going on. Am I going to get this item or not?

A smart business would hire professionals who know what to do. If you try to order and you in Hawaii -forget it. Their explanations are beyond belief - why can't they organize their shipping and customer service. Send a spy over to Draper and Damons or to some other reliable order catalog service that knows how to deal with customers.

Be aware! In case you were not aware, Coldwater Creek claims that they went out of business in 2014, and the current company claiming to be Coldwater Creek recently purchased only the name of the business. Why does this matter? If you were given gift certificates from the old Coldwater Creek, less than a year ago, they are now worthless and the money with which it was purchased was a donation to the now "out of business" company... a convenient way to weasel out of the responsibility of honoring gift certificate purchases if you ask me. Their apparel is boring and unoriginal. It was a chore in itself to find items I would be willing to show my face in public wearing... I was not impressed!
When I ordered the item, it was not on backorder, but it became on backorder after I submitted the order. I waited over 1 month, called and was told I should have it by the end of the month. That did not happen. I waited over another month before I called again. By this time, it's been almost 1.5 months since I place the order. Now, the customer service rep tells be she cannot cancel the order because the item is in the warehouse ready to ship out. I ask her for a tracking number which she does not provide, but let's me know I'll receive a status update by the next day. I get a status update email the next day and guess what, it's still on back order. I call again and start to get the same response, so I ask for a supervisor and lo and behold, they can cancel my order. They don't make it easy to get help. I will never order from them online ever again.
I just noticed a $14.99 "My Coldwater Rewards" on my MasterCard. I did an order in May and returned the items as they didn't fit and i didn't like enough to reorder. They had waived the postage and handling, which was $14.99. When I returned the items, they charged me $9.57. Then I saw they charged me the $14.99 they originally waived. Then today I see another $14.99 pending charge on my MasterCard! What kind of company is this?!
Answer: Hiya Jane, Give their customer service a call, the number should be in your confirmation email (don't try to find it on their website). Customer service will then send you 2 emails, one is a shipping label. Do include your orginal shipping insert (take a pic of it) with the return items highlighted along with the Return Form filled out with the SKU/Style of each item you are returning. Best of luck

We do not charge your credit card until we ship. At the time of your order, we place an "authorization" on your card that let's us know that the funding is available - much like most online retailers. Once the item ships, whether it ships in one or many packages, we charge you only at that time. The authorization rules apply to your financial institution. Once we send the charge, the release is also sent. Some financial institutions take longer than others to release the authorization.
