LOVE IT... A definite favorite. Customer service has always been top-notched, even with returns from catalog at the store. Clothes are trendy AND classic types that hold up well & I've got some "vintage" stuff! I've been a customer for many years and shop website as well as stores. Prices can get a little high for some items, but usually a sale or promotion helps make it affordable. Used to be able to get sterling jewelry, not anymore, so I miss that & I think the quality of the jewelry has gone down in general, but still a fan.
Wonderful clothing but these folks are a bunch of thieves! Their latest scam (7/23) is "free shipping". Except to get the "free shipping" you have to join their "club" and be charged some amount each month. The specifics of their "club membership" go by really fast during their sign up so you end up agreeing to be charged before you understand.
I've been buying from them for decades but I'm just about done forever.
I was a customer of Coldwater Creek for many years before they closed up most of their shops. I have ordered online quite a few times as well. My recent order arrived with size M blouses that were HUGE! After complaining that I have to pay to return them, I got no sympathy. I mistakenly used their Smart Post label the send the the blouses back. After 2 weeks, their agent, Newgistics has not delivered the return. When I called CC again about it, they told me that I have to allow 2-3 weeks for my refund. I said that was outrageous, take my name off your lists. I will not order from them again. They never once addressed my complaints, just agreed to remove my name from their mailing lists. So be it. Horrible was to deal with their customers.
This site has very nice quality clothes. There is free shipping if you spend over $75. They have a lot of sales and deals. I have used this site on several occasions, and I was very happy with their customer service.
I placed a large order, returned most of it and was only refunded for a few pieces of clothing. I loved shopping at Coldwater Creek but will not shop there again.
(updated) I called Coldwater Creek again about my order. It took a while on the phone but the person I spoke to was very helpful and I did end up getting a refund for the return. Using my rating from 1 to 3 stars for this, because it took some time and effort on my part, but they did end up solving the problem.
I've been ordering from Coldwater Creek for decades. The quality matches the price and clothes are decent, launders well, doesn't fade and holds up over the years. My only real complaints are the new colors of the season go on backorder very fast and never come back in stock. Also, the sizing runs big and the tops can run ridiculously short so I always order a 1X as opposed to my normal Misses XL which is unfortunate given the large sizing. The jeans are not a flattering fit and they NEVER show the backside in pictures so I usually stick to sweaters and tops. Keeping those 3 things in mind when ordering, overall, I am pleased with the apparel I have ordered these past 20 years.
Coldwater Creek has provided some of my favorite articles of clothing--from burnout tees to jackets to pintuck blouses, CC clothing fits well and repeatedly gets me compliments.
Ordered around $65.00 dollars of clothing over a month ago and never received. Tracking numbers are bogus. After reading other reviews, I experienced same issues. No product! When I emailed they said wrong item delivered and must be returned. Item was 3-d polarized sunglasses. Interesting how many other customers ALLEGEDLY received the same item that needed returned. I didn't realize 3-d sunglasses were so popular! Blaming me the customer for not returning them. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE. This is a total FRAUDULENT SCAM! Do not waste your time or money. I learned the hard way.
It has been almost a month since I returned clothing to Coldwater Creek. I spoke w/a customer service rep and they apparently are not interested in repeat business. Luckily, I insured the return package and have the tracking information, but somehow Coldwater Creek managed to "lose" the package and I was told that they "were investigating." This is for returns at a San Diego, CA location. It all seems like a scam. I am now awaiting a credit refund of approximately $500.00. Yes, $500.00! It looks like I will have to take them to Small Claims Court and additionally file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and my state's AG office. BEWARE! And only order from reputable on-line clothing retailers like LLBean or Talbots.
I have returned 5 items for a refund, and have yet to receive all of the money back. It has been over 3 months so far. I have called customer service and they have verified that they have received them via USPS tracking numbers, which I saved. They repeatedly assured me I'd get what they owe me, but I have still not received all of it. They don't send emails confirming refunds or receipt of return packages either. They only ask me for order numbers, which apparently they can't or won't bother to look up using my account info. I also cannot do this on their site. They said months ago that they were fixing that...so far not. They are the most slipshod company I've ever dealt with. Terrible service for the expensive clothes they sell. My advice is don't ever deal with them, but if you do and have a return, SAVE YOUR USPS TRACKING SLIPS, or you'll have no proof that they received it and owe you money. Good luck getting it even then. I'll never do business with Coldwater Creek again.
Assuming this is a US based company and item advertised is in stock, or you should not indicate it's currently available is the first issue. When checking status it will tell you AWAITING PAYMENT, when in fact you've given authorization, so that is bogus. Then everytime you call they keep extending expected shipping date. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM COLDWATER CREEK, EVER AGAIN. People... beware!
Back ordered product; took longer than predicted; returned and taking forever to be refunded. Don't waste your time on a poor quality product (down jacket)
I will preface this comment by saying that I shop almost exclusively online, and have never seen a mail order operation run so poorly. Online ordering is a nightmare. Items were on back order but not indicated as such; no email confirmation of shipment or tracking number has ever been sent, and I am still trying to find the ship status of another item I purchased almost 2 months ago! Phone calls result in a wait of over 30 minutes, followed by a conversation with a person who either does not have the answer I'm looking for or lets me know by their vocal tone that they could not care less about my problem. Most of your products are good quality and reasonably priced. Take some lessons from other companies mentioned here (Lands End, etc.) and step it up or you will lose what business you have.
21 emails promising my return would be credited... 11 phone calls speaking to a supervisor who keeps telling me to be patient. Cannot get my money back for something that arrived damaged and was returned with proof of returning it. I keep getting the runaround. Who is this company kidding? They need serious help.
Your sizing is all wrong. First way too large then I returned and what was a $60 pair of linen shorts was credited back for $29. Ridiculous! Oh the shorts are not on sale so don't try that excuse I checked. Never ordering again!

I recently placed an order of five items with Coldwater Creek. Order date: 9/21. Received on October 3. Each item came in a separate package loaded down with promotional materials. Every item was oversized, at least one size too big and of poor quality. There were no return labels in the packages. I called for a label for returns which the customer care person said would take up to ten minutes. I'm waiting a half hour later. Customer Care at Coldwater Creek is a misnomer. Wish I had read all the bad reviews before ordering.
I'm finished trying to do business with Coldwater Creek. Absolutely no customer service. No responses from 6/6,8/8,8/29,9/2 all in 2023, to my email inquires. Over priced garments I might add! Buyer beware!
Ordered a $75 sweater on January 27,2021. The site said it would ship in 4 to 8 days. It is March 3,2021 and the tracking says the USPS facility is "awaiting item." My credit card was billed when it "shipped" January 29,2021. Called twice and e-mailed twice, and got excuses ranging from slowness due to snow, Covid, Pitney Bowes and of course USPS. Funny, other companies have met their shipping date estimates. I even went '"Karen" and demanded to speak to a supervisor, who assured me it was on the way, just shipping "slowly." What? By stagecoach? I asked for either a re-ship or a cancellation and refund and they refused either solution. If aggravation and frustration is your cup of tea, then go for it... otherwise stay clear!
My order arrived and the 3 items were not as described or so artfully shown in the catalog. The light Indigo skirt (ID: *******) looked like a cleaning rag without shape and horrible fit (the size L fit like an 5XXXX huge). The wheat ridge pants would look better as a clown costume. So I returned the items. I checked up a couple of weeks later and they can't find the 79.95 skirt but had the 21.59 (on sale) pants. So, how can 2 items packed by USPS have the expensive skirt go missing? Believe me, there was "no escape" from the well-sealed package that USPS packed them in. Now, if someone answers the phone there, they are rude, sarcastic and goading, hoping I'll give up and not call back. Is this any way to run a company?
Have loved CC for years and happy they were back online but I've made my last purchase. Poor/non existent communication. Stalls for responses. Returned an item with no tracking information available over two weeks. They were not motivated to explain or react to my concern. After a couple weeks finally recd a credit for the return, minus a sizeable deduction for return mailing and handling apparently. No communication at all regarding inquiries. An $87 order was refunded as $65.
I think they're finished. Sorry to see it.
Answer: Hiya Jane, Give their customer service a call, the number should be in your confirmation email (don't try to find it on their website). Customer service will then send you 2 emails, one is a shipping label. Do include your orginal shipping insert (take a pic of it) with the return items highlighted along with the Return Form filled out with the SKU/Style of each item you are returning. Best of luck
