Purchased a linen shell less than a year ago. Washed it 3-4 times according to instructions. Last time it came out of the machine with the fabric having separated into a big tear on the front. Checked other laundry for sharp zipper or other cause, but found nothing. Cold Water Creek says no help for anything more than 3 months from purchase.
I am about to send back my second your purchase you will be charged $6.95 for a "shipping and handling fee!" WHY? This "will be deducted from your refund" even though you may put more than one item in the same package of your return. My purchase was a gift this time, and I with the availability of TJ Maxx, Amazon, as well as other online stores that don't charge these excess fees, why would I want to order second/third rate clothes if I can buy real quality elsewhere? Buyer beware!
I have bought several items from this company over the years via mail order and had good experiences. Recently, however, I had such a bad experience that I'll never order from them again. I returned an item in May. I used their label and the return was tracked. Their own tracking says that the return was received. Yet it is end of August and I'm still fighting with Customer Service to get a refund because "they can't locate it". I don't think this is my problem. I have wasted a lot of time calling and sending emails. They say they will reply in 48 hours but I had to call and complain before they got back to me. Now several emails later and nothing resolved. The refund is over $100.
Coldwater Creek should take a lesson from Lands End. It's been one problem after another with absolutely no resolution. I will never place another order from this company and will let all on Social Media know as well. It has been several years since I placed an order and WOW, have they gone downhill! Unacceptable. Just horrible customer service. They should be ashamed.
Having to pay $13 to have two light weight jackets ship is bad enough but when you need to return one because the 'denim' is so thin it's almost see through and then having $6.95 deducted from your return is ridiculous. But don't think you can write an online review on their website about it. On no, reviews are moderated and you can't talk bad about shipping. Whatever. I am done with this company forever.
It took three weeks to receive my order. I hung up after being on hold for an hour and a half, and the sweater has a few flaws. The scarf and shirt are ok, but not worth what I paid. The old Coldwater Creek was much better in quality and delivery. Be cautious buying from the new owners. Very disappointed. Their excuse for the delay was the pandemic.
I would guess if they pay their employees more and get more staff, their service should improve.
I ordered a shirt - paid extra to have it in 2 days - was 9 days before getting it. Customer service said I could not cancel - send it back. Poor quality fabric for an $80 cotton blouse - Walmart has better quality. Years ago bought ColdWater exclusively - not now - thankfully I did not purchase the $110 linen shirt - I wont be going back. Don't purchase from them - sad they are not what they used to be - if they were I would gladly pay the price for their items. I see that my thoughts are already posted - so "buyer beware".
If perchance you still need corduroy pants don't buy the cords from Coldwater creek. I ordered them several weeks ago and received a navy pair instead of black, terrible material ( I happen to know goods, having parents that were in the garment industry when clothing was made like crazy in the USA)
I didn't return because I washed them to see if they would soften up. No luck. Don't buy them. I got a better pair of pants in Sam's for $35 less. Unbelievable. I used to shop at coldwater creek stores when you could touch and feel, I still have items that are classic and wear like iron. But things have changed for sure. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Send stuff back. I just needed a black pair of cords bad and settled for a rough pair of navy that I'll use for shoveling!
15 days and still have not received my credit. Representative says it could take another 3-5 weeks. They charge your credit card in a day and it takes a month or longer to get a return. Tracking return merchandise is impossible.
I have been a customer for over 5 years. But poor quality, higher prices, charging to ship back returns, cancelling orders weeks after the orders had been placed and the final straw was a rude customer service person who hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. I'm done. Terrible new ownership of this once reputable company.
I ordered 3 dresses in 2 different orders…1 was priced $130 the other 2 were $170 each…awful quality & packaged in usps mailer all scrunched up. Awful quality for the price. Returned all 3. Took 4 weeks to get a partial refund after they deducted over $50 fir what I don't know…NEVER will I order from them again!
After ordering a garment last October which was of the worst quality and expensively priced, it took 2 months to get my money back. But, I discovered they enrolled me in their "rewards club" for $16.04 per month. They will charge your card each month even when you don't order anything. Called and demanded a refund which they say will be forthcoming in 3-5 business days. Check your credit card statement for the charge around the first of the month. They used to be a pretty good company, but have become a nightmare to deal with and sending out the absolute poorest, lowest quality items. Sad.
OK, so they are now officially out of business BUT prior to this they sent me a "goodbye, we're going out of business" catalogue in July advertising 70% off everything. I have shopped at CC many times over the years but always thought their clothes were overpriced, so I would generally buy items on sale. I should have known it was too good to be true. They just cancelled all 7 items I ordered after I waited over three weeks, and when I would check my delivery status they kept moving the delivery date further and further out. So no wonder they are out of business, they appear to be clueless as to their inventory, and unable to fulfill orders which just seems like false advertising. I would give them zero stars if that were an option. Not sorry to see them go, retailers doing business like this are not worth the trouble.
I will spare you the 35 emails over a two month period trying to resolve multiple issues with Coldwater Creek.
From being disappointed twice that items I ordered and waited for were no longer available to being overcharged to returning an item that a month later I still have not been refunded, at every turn, this was a nightmare.
This use to be a reputable business. It no longer is. I believe it is now an oversees operation with the scams so many oversees operations are known for. In the end, I asked to be removed from their mailing list. I will not be doing any business with them going forward. I recommend your spending your money elsewhere. This was frustration, aggravation, disappointment and a waste of too much time. Shopping should be fun. This was not.
I had a very bad experience with Coldwater Creek Women's clothes. Placed an order in March. Order took several weeks to get to me. I sent it back on April 28,2021, and it has still not been received. Horrible Customer Service. I will never order from them again!
The quality of clothes is great, but the customer service is horrible. I have a return that I've been awaiting a refund for for almost a month now. I get canned email responses and not much better on the phone. Companies should have to reimburse you for interest charged on your card when it takes this long to receive a refund. Completely unacceptable and I may never purchase from this company again. I sure will let everyone I can know about my experience.
I ordered an outfit for a presentation early in February. Was notified sweater would not come for 5 weeks. Too late for me. Pants received and were not slim fit as described, really baggy- sent those back. All I kept was a tank top that I think I can work into another outfit-- hopefully in time. Also could not find receipt in package so I had to go back and print out the one I had online. What the heck has happened to this place?
I am a long time customer of Coldwater Creek. I have usually been happy with the quality and service. However, I purchased a vest that looked great in the catalog. When I got the vest it was absolutely awful. So, I sent it back with the return label that came with it. It took two months and lots of prodding to get my refund. And the refund was $26 less than I paid. I understand charging shipping on returns but this was in an envelope and one lightweight vest! Their customer service team does not respond timely, if at all. I am not going to order from them again. If I could rate them with zero stars, I would.
I have purchased a number of items from Coldwater Creek and been very satisfied. However, recently I ordered a camisole. It did not look good on me so I returned it. Much to my shock I received a letter saying that it did not conform to their Return Policy because they won't take back items that "have been worn, washed, used or altered"! None of the above were done. I have never been so insulted in my life. The person who determined this must have been in a foul mood. They were so wrong I will never order via mail another garment from them!
I made a purchase and my credit card was immediately charged. I've yet to receive package that supposedly arrived November 19. My advice on MY experience do not purchase from this company. Poor customer service! If I could give -10 stars, I would.

Customer service will then send you 2 emails, one is a shipping label. Do include your orginal shipping insert (take a pic of it) with the return items highlighted along with the Return Form filled out with the SKU/Style of each item you are returning. Best of luck
