I booked a flight and 12 hours later I got a call and was informed that they couldn't honor the price they charged me and were going to have to charge me more. I had already started booking hotels, etc. to go with the flights. Any 3rd party worth their salt can set up a system that checks prices before actually booking and taking peoples money. I cancelled (their new price was higher than it needed to be) and I'm anxious to see if my refund goes through. They have a BBB rating of F because of refund problems.
(Edited to add: I double checked and because the flights didn't go through they never charged me in the first place. That deserves to be noted and corrected)

I booked my airline tickets through cheap best fares.com. Within 2 hours I received a call that their was an issue with DELTA airlines and my specific flight arrangement. The representative then wanted to change my travel days and I said no, then they wanted to change me another 300.00 per ticket to change them? I then told the agent to take the round trip flight I recently booked off the website. I went on the next day and there it was again! Booked it again same thing! Agent called and went through the same issue! Whatever you do, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!
Reserved my tickets due to the decent price. I then receive a phone call saying that the air line has already sold them and then tried to upsell me from my original price! Such a scam! I wish I could give no stars. Please do not spend your hard earned money with them! Look elsewhere...
After you purchase your ticket, they call you to tell you that the flight you just booked is sold out. Then tell you that you will have to pay an additional price to book you on another flight.
Complete scam! I thought it was a legit site and used my card to purchase the ticket, I had to cancel my card as the scammers now had all of my card information, to include email and phone number. To be safe changed everything. Complete mess. BEWARE
I would give this company less than 1 star, false advertising. They are liars and cheats. Dont book anything through this website
My flight to New Zealand was cancelled by the airlines itself last December due to COVID. New Zealand was in LOCKDOWN. This CHEAP BEST FARE COMPANY refuses to provide refund. Oday, I believe his name is, was rude and James was a manipulative. As you see, my friend was told that they will give her credit and when asked the company to use the said credit for Michigan trip for this September, she was ask to pay at least $200 more … the credit was supposed to be 700 +. My fare for same trip to MICHIGAN was only $400. + from Delta. That means for same flight will cost my friend $900.00. Later on James said that my friend has to pay more because the credit is only 400 New Zealand money when in fact my friend paid in US dollars. For short, they did not book her flight for Michigan and DELTA was fully booked so, therefore I have to reschedule my MichigN flight ( no change fee from delta) so that my friend and I can be in the same flight. My friend end up using her mileage. Not sure if my friend will be refunded. Saving little money from this scammers is not worthy. See, my other friends got their ticket directly from the New Zealand airline and was automatically refunded when they cancelled the flight.
Trust me…. I swear to my NURSE JOB that the above company is only good up front to lure you for your money. But when it comes to refunding, they will talked and argued with you as if you are STUPID. FYI: my friend spent 2 hours for her refund yet, she still did not get it. Oh, I will copy and paste this reviews to the New Zealand airlines, Facebook, YouTube, TV news and Trip advisor.
After a whole year of going back and forth with this company, I think they done a runner with mine and many other peoples money.
I've been doing my own research and I don't even think that ‘cheap best fares' is a registered company on companies house. I believe the registered company which they are ghost trading from is ‘247traveltech inc' which has now been liquidated.
Both companies are registered at the same address (2 Cambridge rd, seven kings, ilford IG3 8LU) and have the same director name Jozef Peksa!
One of the previous addresses they (247traveltech inc) was registered at was 27 old Gloucester street, London, WC1N 3AX. I'm not sure if this is his private address or not but I think he deserves everything that comes his way!
I have screenshots with all the information why I believe this and willing to show everyone in my same shoes. I'm doing all my best to catch these scumbags!
This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I have 2 emails promising me a refund by Dec and then feb. Then nothing happened. The only reason they have positive reviews is because they asked people like me to go and leave them after promising my money back that they didn't give. Then a year on now after promising twice said they would only give a flight voucher until the end of the year. This is the worst run company and service I have ever experienced in my life
I can't stress enough that you should not use this company. Booked flights to USA in January last year. Requested refund due to travel restrictions of COVID. Now in March a year later & still no refund. They made promises of refunding my money so many times but it hasn't happened. Now they don't even answer my emails & I can't get through on the phone. Will clearly have to go through the small claims court.
I called cheap best fares to book a flight to Italy on 2/22/2021. The company booked my flight but due to Covid-19 the connecting flight from Amsterdam to Italy was cancelled. I contacted cheap best fares to re-book a trip in the United States and the company stated I could only get half of my refund back. I decided to cancel that flight after I was informed by United Airlines that the price I was charged through CheapBestFares was higher than a regular ticket. The representative from CheapBestFares cancelled my flight and advised me that as of 3/15/2020 I had one year to use my credit.
I contacted the company on 3/2/2021 to book a flight with my credit and spoke with Mylo agent # 526 and a supervisor who stated his name was Adia Smith, no agent ID. I as advised first by Mylo that my flight credit expired on 2/22/2021 even though the previous representative advised me that my credit expired 3/15/2021. Mylo then advised me that I had a credit of $327 to be applied to this current ticket even though he had just previously told me the credit of $800 expired. I asked for a refund of the $327 as I did not want to do business with CheapBestFares any longer and was advised that it could not be refunded.
I asked for the Supervisor who stated that he did see the notes from 3/15/2020 however, because there is a penalty to change from an international to domestic flight of exactly half of my initial $800 ticket, which was not stated when I spoke with the first representative on 3/15/2020. I requested for my partial refund back and was told by the Supervisor that it could not be refunded and that it was flight credit. I have confirmed with United Airlines that no flight credit exists. CheapBestFares basically stole $800 from me without providing any type of service. This company is a scam and should be put out of business.
Purchased tickets from NY to Paris before the covid shutdown. When my flights were canceled by the airline, cheapbestfares assured me they would refund my purchase. They never did. Now I have to go through a dispute with my CC company and handle it that way. Such a disgrace to take advantage of customers during the covid pandemic. NEVER do business with this company.
The company refuses to honor the credit that they provide. They were only willing to provide a credit for 10% of original ticket value. All communication is done by phone only to ensure the consumer cannot provide evidence to the deceptive practices. The only thing they do well is have you sign for their payment with a statement that you have no recourse.
After 8 months and over 24 phone calls I decided to report this company and am receiving my refund through my Bank. Don't be patient with this company. They are disgusting and Toxic! Namaste Jacob! Karma?
This company used telemarketing from India and if you are waiting for a refund. Don't believe a word they tell you. It seems you only get results by yelling at them. Their cool and calm and apologetic mannerisms are not to be believed. They think by apologizing over and over and asking for your patience is all they need to do to delay REFUNDS. I have signed a docu sign and they have admitted to owing me the refund. I will have my bank involved tomorrow. I feel as if I am being PUNKED!
I have been waiting seven months for my refund. Every time I question when I will receive my refund, the answer is very vague and a mere ‘please trust us ma'am' with no sort of useful information. There is no reason I should not be issued my refund. They refuse to provide me with my airline reference number, which also has absolutely no reason to be withheld. Extremely poor customer service and communication, I would not recommend this company to anyone.
I purchased flights to Europe in JAN 2020 for MAY 2020. Signed e-document to get a refund in MAY 2020. Told 60-90 days so May, June, July, August, September, and nearing the end of October. NO REFUND. After numerous calls (too many to count) I contacted the Better Business Bureau. You cannot speak with anyone directly in the "Refund Dept., instead you will be asked to wait anywhere 2-3 hours or 6-7 hour for a return call well after regular business hours. Still waiting for the company that received my money to return my money
I booked online via cheapbestfares and thought I was paying over 400.00 more. Sharon called and said she could get my same flight for cheaper! Never happens! Even offered cheaper if my itenary was flexible! One happy customer! Thank you Sharon.
Beware to anyone who wishes to utilize this site to book travel reservations. This website will not provide refunds or cancellations. When I called customer service to ask for my options they tried to charge me more money than the original reservation. My original reservation was $288 and they wanted to charge my an additional $600 for the cancellation.
I used 2 times and booked ticket and paid. After a week they called they want more money.
They only want our credit card and personnel information. I think they are crooked and a scam. Be care full to use this website. I don't want even give a 1 star! Just zero is fine!
Booked my flight thru this site 3 days ago. All were paid for except issuing the ticket. 2 days later, they told me the price had increased and asked for more money. I could have bought the ticket from other sites at a cheaper price.

Answer: I found very attractive flight price for my family for xmas break to Europe thru CheapBestFares. We received confirmation number, as well booking locators for the airliners. Everything seemed nice and smooth. The following day we received an email, and a phone call to let us know that the Airline did not approve the discount, and CheapBestFares offered a new itinerary with better discount with another carrier, what we accepted. However, they pressure you to get the payment right away on their payment link. We did pay the amount, no big deal. Few days later, another call from CheatBestFares to let us know that the ticket is not confirmed with the new airliner, and they working on it, and it should be resolved with no issue. 5 days passed since the payment was made and shown in the bank account, with every day phone and promises to be fine asking us to be patient and allow them few hours, a day, and the last one was asking for 24 hours to resolve. This is the sixth day, they finally telling us, they can't get the tickets and they will fully refund us. CheapBestFares was not able to explain why the credit card was charged (not pending) without confirming the tickets. Meanwhile, the prices for same itinerary are almost double within a week. We will have to buy new tickets all over with almost double the price. From this bad experience, I personally will sue them for fraud, and ask for compensation, dispute the amount as fraudulent with our bank, as well as block our credit card. We believe CheapBestFares is gathering credit card info, and using the money (few days investment), making profit, then refunding the money without paying the interests for a week "Loan". Now, you make your own judgment.
