This is the first time booking a flight with SmartFares and had a good experience. The only thing I did find was the airfare that was given while booking was not the amount that came off the credit card.
I highly recommend SmartFares, the booking process was easy and fast as well as when I had made a mistake, they went out of their way to resolve it for me. Thanks

My flight never showed up on the airlines website so I contacted SmartFares and was told that my flight hadn't been confirmed and that the cost had gone up almost $175 dollars and that I would need to pay the new fare cost. I said I would just cancel my entire purchase before I paid extra for someone I already paid for at which time the agent said they would confirm the original purchase at the original price. A couple hours later I was able to see my flight on the airlines website. I'm not sure if this is a normal scam the company runs or just something the individual I spoke to was running.
It's hard to rate at this time. I'm not sure what to expect, having never worked through you. I found it confusing at the end with all the extra costs if I chose to use them. I paid extra I thought for cancelling if I chose to do so, but I don't think that is what it was for. Time will tell if I should give you a 5 star rating.
Answer: Smartfares! They will offer a deeply discounted airfare and send you a confirmation number to your email. The next day you will receive an email to call them immediately because they were unable to confirm your flight. When you call them back, they will try to sell you another flight at a much higher price. SCAM SCAM AVOID!

Answer: Yes. They stated because of flight increase they canceled my flights. Then they wanted me to pay a balance of what the new increase was. So disappointing. I paid for four fares. They took the funds from the bank n then canceled my flights.
