I purchased a platinum (their top of the line cover) for my new truck and after 16 months less then two years is deterating on one side were the sun hits it. My truck get very little use as I have a work truck to use every day so I bought this cover from carcovers.com to protect it and it's falling apart. Their ideas of a replacement is to prorated it and I still have to pay 1/2 of the cost of a new cover and and it's supposed to have a life time warranty. They called it a tear but you can sè it is dry Roted from the sun the other side were the sun is not on it is fine. I purchased a RV cover for my popup camper based on seeing how proudly they share about their lifetime warranty and opted to spend a little more money than other covers based on this info. I live in Arizona so the sun is pretty extreme and tends to do a good amount of damage to anything left outside. Needless to say we ended up getting a tear in one of the corners and I jumped through the hoops to let them know about the rip including pictures. My claim was approved and I only needed to pay the $95 shipping! Good luck finding that on their site. I realize there may be a cost of shipping but that is extremely excessive when I go on USPS and its $44 for priority and $34 for ground based on the weight/size of the package. At $95 shipping that means the covers actually cost $64.
You may opt for a different company.
I paid $30 extra for 1-2 days delivery for a reason! They shipped it ups ground. I called and talk to a rue agent name "Isaac" or something similar to that. Very rude and need to learn how to talk and resolve any issues with the customer instead of being rude.
Ordered and paid for express shipping. They changed to regular shipping without informing me so no arrival as per the order. Tried to get a straight answer from them but all I heard was "our site is down, call back in an hour" Did this several times. Notice paid for Express Mail but they put in as regular. Dont expect by Christmas and don't pay for express mail. Not happy.
I inquired about return to sender shipment/refund. After 1 week I did not receive a response to my email. Finally, they responded with a generic response instead of answering the 3 questions I posed. Then I tried calling to get answers and they raised their voice at me and said I should have called a week ago instead of emailing. I don't think it should be necessary to call if they have email service, and I don't think it's fair to blame the 1 week response delay on my choice of method of communication (email). To make matters worse, they were being aggressive. I would not buy from them if you want any after sale service.
I Bought a cover for my RV on short notice as I had to leave town for emergency. I had it rushed, even bought a cover a little bigger to ensure it will fit. My rv is 33ft so I ordered one that will fit 33-35ft. Said it was guaranteed to fit with several layers of high quality material. Once I unboxed it and attempted to install over my Rv, i was having such a difficult time, several neighbors and other campers came out to help and assist. This cover was the most pain and Made with the cheapest material, the zippers wouldnt zip up, the tie down straps ripped right off. It was embarrassing and after all the help trying to get this thing to work I hope no one buys a cover from carcovers.com. Absolutely terrible.
Worst fit ever. My experience is these Chinese made semi-custom covers are sized to fit a broad range of vehicles. The one I received blows off in moderate winds, even with the optional wind straps installed. After sending customer service pictures of the poor, very baggy fit, their response was, "You purchased a semi-custom cover that is sized to the length, width, and height of the vehicle but not specifically made for the vehicle. We also sell 100% custom-made-to-order covers. They are a bit more expensive than these semi-custom." The company did not offer a refund. Given their only resolution pushed the cost of a cover that actually fits to that of premium Made in USA cover, I opted to not gamble further and went with a USA made cover from an industry leader that guarantees their covers to fit, period.
I bought the Black Satin Shield cover from Carcovers.com for my 2019 Corvette. The cover is soft and fits like a glove. This is the second cover I have purchased from them and I have been very pleased with Carcovers.com including customer service. The Black Satin Shield is perfect for keeping the car clean after a wash before your next drive, great for your classic or weekend driver/show car.

Just returned from the Ohio week deer hunt. Bought the Max Shield cover for my 2021 Polaris Huntsman 450 HO. Great fit, easy to adjust tight fit with the straps and hem cord. I bought it to cover the atv when trailering. Down the I 90 at 70 mph, a little buffeting, but I think to be expected. Did not tear the material, all seams held. Only thing was the two access zippers unzipped causing them to flap; but no damage once I pulled over and re zipped them. Probably my fault for not checking them before heading home. Great product and definitely "Trailerable" as stated.
Make sure you don't need to return your cover because they will make it impossible. I tried to return mine and they put up as many road blocks as they could, first offered me 20% off to keep it, then told me i neede all documentation on delivery, then to ship it back at my own expense and then would get a refund after 30 days. Finally, they offered me 40% back to keep it. Next time will order from Amazon!
Ordered a cover with plenty of time for any reputable organization to get it to me when I needed it. However, several days after ordering I get a notification that it is backordered, even though the website said it was "In Stock". When I got the message that it was backordered, I checked the website again, and sure enough, it still said "In Stock". Several days after that, the website STILL claimed the product was "IN STOCK". I needed to then ship a different product 2nd day to get me "something" when I needed it. I had to pay $40 more to get it via 2nd day shipping.
Then after I finally got a tracking number from them, only after prying it out of them in a chat, I saw that it shipped ground, even though I paid for 2nd day.
Can I give them negative 3 stars? For incorrect info and taking my money and not delivering a product/service?
In a chat, when I raised my objection to paying for 2 day shipping and getting ground shipping, the response was "Sorry it was backordered", which didn't address my objection at all.
Never again will I do business with this organization.
I ordered a cover and wanted to return it. I followed their return policy and filled out their form, spoke with a customer service rep and received a return authorization number. I packaged everything back up in the original box, cover, cable and lock set. I sent it UPS the next day after receiving the authorization. (Within 10 days you get a full refund minus the $19.12 cost of the prepaid shipping label). They only refunded part of my money. When I contacted them about it they said they never received the cable and lock set. I told them it was placed in the storage bag with the car cover and asked if anyone has looked in the bag. I have not heard anything from them. They have not refunded the correct amount. They also kept money for microfiber cloths that they never sent to me to begin with. They are theifs!
Was very happy when cover first arrived. Seemed to be everything advertised. However, after just three years the cover is a big disappointment. Cover is literally tearing apart on my car. Customer service has been unresponsive. Filled out warranty claim with accompanying pictures but no response. Called and was instructed to resubmit photos. Complied and received an email saying my claim was being worked on. Now three weeks later no further contact and the cover is tearing more. Not protecting my car very much at this point.
I bought a Platinum cover for my new Hyundai Ioniq based on the tech support on the website. I received my cover quickly and initially I was quite pleased as the front and back are clearly marked for ease of putting on. Then the wind started, not gale force, not even 15 to 20 MPH, and the cover would fly off. The first time was my fault as I did not have the locking mechanism in place. Do yourself a favor and purchase a higher quality lock than what is supplied as this is cheap and is already rusting. Still, the cover came off in the winds from a thunderstorm yesterday. So now customer service has recommended the Gust Wind Straps for another 17.00 with tax. The worst part of all this is that my husband ordered a cover for his Jeep from Quadratec and it doesn't have gust wind straps or the locking mechanisms and his cover stays in place.
Ordered a cover for my toyhauler and verified with customer that it would fit. It didn't and the straps on the back aren't mounted on the sides. Instead they're on the back panel. Obviously it was built wrong. They would hear nothing of it and offered a 40% refund or total refund if we paid the shipping. Very disappointed. It's trash. Fast shipping is the only plus.
I purchased a car cover from CarCovers.com. The web site said they had a Lifetime Warranty and a Guaranteed Fit. The fitment was bad leaving parts of the car exposed. As I was putting the cover on one of the seams ripped. I called and they said because I was "just outside" the 30-day return window they could not help me. They offered to give me some tape to cover the rip (they said their warranty didn't cover rips and tears. Clearly their web site was intentionally misleading.

I recently placed an order with Carcover.com, Im Into my 9th day waiting for my cover for my recently bought BMW, and they still haven't shipped it, in the mean time my car is getting toasted by the great sun rays, I can't attest about the quality of the cover but their BS excuse we forgot to ship it, does not fly with me, why do you even advertise 3 to 5 business day delivery?, im upset cause I called them to ask if they can rush it for me since they forgot, and they said it eventually will be there, what a lame excuse, bad company bad PR period.
This company is a ripoff' I ordered my carcover for a Lexus and wouldn't put it on a golf cart. It is nylon crap, 30 day money back? Took thirty days to get here by slow boat! I could't be more disappointed! Paid 100 bucks for a piece of crap! Don't order from this company unless you have money to waste.
I purchased an expensive, supposedly custom fit car cover from carcovers.com and it failed in three and a half months. Also, it did not fit as advertised. Poor quality item with false advertising. Do not purchase.

Answer: I had the same problem and their Costumer service claimed their fit guarantee is not valid because of a "modification" note box at the very bottom of the checkout process. They did provide an exchange (at my cost) but the larger cover still does not fit correctly. I would not recommend them for motorcycle covers.
