I have had covers for my cars for many years for many cars types. I always try to garage my cars as a first choice but recently (8/19) acquired a daily driver that would have to sit out on the driveway in the Texas sun. I purchased the Carcover best cover for my 2012 Ford Focus Hatchback, 5 later premium cover. Seemed like a really good cover - at first. The following year (Spring 2020) when the weather warmed up, I was putting the cover on every day, I started to notice a bunch of white dust when folding up and removing the cover. Wasn't sure what it was but apparently it was the cover deteriorating. In less than a year (supposedly a 5 yr cover), One day I was adjusting the cover when putting it on and it literally tore. Not pulling on it hard just adjusting to sit correctly. I attempted to get a replacement, to which I found I had to pay $30 shipping, to replace a cover that didn't last a year. So Ok, send me another one. Maybe this first one was defective. Well after a month of my car sitting in high heat with more and more tearing, no cover as it was "out of stock". Interestingly. I could have bought a brand new cover without a problem. I emailed and called these thieves multiple time asking how they could fix the problem with no response other than the replacement is out of stock. Where is my replacement? It's now been over a month. AND, if I try to order a new one it is available? What is going on?
There is a long chain of emails with constant excuses - ship me the replacement... Piece of junk ripped after 8 months.

You obviously didn't read the whole thread. I have been waiting 3 weeks for a replacement AFTER paying the $30 dollar fee. Where is my cover?

Ok, so let me understand this - you sell a "5 layer", unlimited, lifetime warranty cover that dies in less than 6 months in the sun, and now all you are willing to do is give me back the shipping for the replacement for an inferior, grossly oversold cover that didn't last a year? It's not my fault you can't come up with a replacement, yet my car sits out roasting like a summer turkey in 100+ degree heat. Your company supposedly prides itself on customer service. Yeah, you answer emails quickly - but my problem is not even close to being resolved.
BTW - your WARRANTY POLICY makes NO mention of a shipping charge to replace a defective cover--From YOUR Website:

If that is not acceptable I will wait for your inferior replacement and blow you out in my reviews, which interestingly, I see no obvious place to leave a review. SO may need to crowdsource my input. I am really beginning to think your reviews and Blog are completely bogus. NO place to leave a review or add to a blog? If I missed it, please advise.
If you want to escalate this to a manager that might have some additional balls, please DO and feel free to have him/her call me on the cell below. Right now, you guys suck... wait, SUCK BIG TIME.
I await Carcover's response to this pathetic excuse for customer service... do the right thing, or I will.
I'd also love to post this thread where all can read, and learn the truth. Please make me wrong.

Hello,
Please refund the purchase price and the $30 dollars that was supposed to cover the shipping on the replacement. That would bring the total refund amount to $169.99.
Unfortunately I can't wait. I have a black car and it is now around 100 in Dallas every day. Three weeks and not knowing how much longer won't work when I have found another company that has the ultimate 7 layer in stock for the same amount. Original Purchase Order below for reference. Please advise when I can expect the refund, and how it will be paid. Back to my card, or?

Hi there,
I purchased a cover for my Ford Focus back in August of last year. I live in Texas and the car stays out so I religiously put the cover on it when it is not raining. In the 90's now. I was pretty impressed with the cover - got the best rated version - your Gold version. Well today when I put it on, I grabbed to adjust the corner near the front, and was very surprised to see it tear. I hardly pulled on it. Pictures attached. I have added a piece of duct tape to keep the tear from spreading. I have had covers for many of my cars in the last 40 yrs and have never seen this happen so soon after purchase. Would appreciate you sending a new one out. Please call me my cell below if we need to discuss.

Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE THEM - inferior products and horrible replacement policy. Tell you, yeah we'll replace it and then it never happens. I asked for a manager to call me - nothing. I really think most of the reviews are bogus made up crap. Will be interest to see if this one ever makes it on to their site.

Products used:
I am now buying from another company as these A holes did nothing to resolve the fact that "high end" cover died in less than year. WOULD NEVER deal with them again.
